Gorgeous place in a great location, close to the main street but far enough that was quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views, clean cabins and well equipped, I hope I'll be back again

The Cabanas are nice!! The owner was very helpful and attentive. He give us a thermos (to hold hot water), the place was nice and relatively clean. Breakfast was good (maybe some veggie will help) coffee was excellent!! All and all we had a good time in The cabanas and in Tilcara

We enjoyed our stay here recently. The only staff person we ever saw or talked to at this small hotel was helpful and quick to answer our requests. The simple breakfast service in the small apartment we had was nice. Not fabulous but good enough to start the day. The small kitchenette in our mini apartment was functional to cut up some fruit or vegetables or warm up water but not much more. The bathroom was spacious and beds were comfortable. The view is pretty and the location is easy walking distance to the center of town. The only problem was the noise. The first night, a Friday, was fine, but the second night we could hear a loud party and music very late into the night. Not sure if it was neighbors or a town festival but it sounded very close. As other reviews have mentioned, the sound proofing can be improved. The noise was our only problem.||I must say the website perhaps oversells the place just a tiny bit because I expected more space for kids to run around and also more animals other than a few horses.

These apartments are nice, cozy and clean. Very practical location to visit the sights and the surroundings. You even have a nice mountain view from your window or you can enjoy the deck chairs or hammocks outside. The service is warm and friendly. Includes wi-fi. They don't take credit cards nor have safety box, but this is fairly commonplace in the region. Definitely recommendable.

It's a nice little hotel with a new and modern design. The rooms are very cozy and clean. We got a warm welcome from the manager who was always available for us and provided helpful information for going out. The breakfast was very delicious with fresh bread and regional marmalade. It's a great place for tours in the area and to relax (in the garden or the room).

To start with: the location of this hotel is outstanding. The view of the mountains is excellent. The rooms, attached to eachother are claen, small, and dark (at least ours was). But they are also noisy. We could hear the normal conversation of our neighbours... The breakfast is simple and the staff doesn't pay much attention to the guests. We have no reason to come here again, as there are many other fine places in Tilcara.

We originally booked for 2 nights but enjoyed the location and service so we stayed an extra day. Comfortable cabana with small kitchenette. Hot shower anytime with walk in shower and no need to step into a bath. Good view and accommodating staff. In town with easy walking to artisan shops and markets.

Found this place by chance when I went to check out the llama farm - the hotel is right across the road from it. Both Santiago and Augusto were warm, welcoming, helpful. (Augusto in particular speaks excellent English and helped me gain some insight about the local culture.) Even the nearby roosters obliged by not crowing before 6 am. I was in one of the 3 rooms, not the full cabanas. Rooms are generously sized, very clean, and well-lit. Whoever designed this hotel kept the local character in mind, with lots of beautiful wood, and earthy colours. And, because it's on the edge of town, you have that gorgeous mountain view right from your doorstep.
