Really beautiful pieces! There are books in some sections explaining the art and the connection to Balinese culture, which added to the experience. Tickets include a drink (tea or Bali coffee) which we enjoyed at the end. You are allowed to walk the whole hotel property, so we also saw the rice fields and ponds. There were also artists in the courtyard painting and playing music!

What a wonderful experience. Very little people so sometimes it really felt like you had the whole place to yourself. Some of the artworks they had were stunning. They had an exhibition which was a documentary on Walter Spies which kept up very entertained. Outside was a lovely garden with many well-fed chickens and baby chicks running around. You'll also get access to the water garden and small plot of rice paddy in the back part of the compound. There's no air-conditioning in the compound and little fans, so be prepared for that, as well as mosquito repellent. Nonetheless, if you're in Ubud and have some time to spare, highly recommend paying this place a visit.

This place is amazing! Whether it is raining or sunny, this is a must place to visit. Local art located within pristine gardens. I was shocked how quiet it was as there were no line ups and each exhibit we were the only ones nearby.

This place is amazing! I highly recommend going, especially if you want to get away from the Ubud crowds. There was barely anyone there. Not only are the gallerys beatiful, the scenery is too.

This is an AMAZING museum and honestly the only reason to go to Ubud. The couple’s collection is stunning. We were literally the only ones there in the morning, and it was worth the trek over. There are a few buildings and there was an older gentleman who obviously knew the history of the museum and told us about it. - Lovely 🙏. A ticket for a free coffee or cold drink is included in your ticket, and you’ll want to use it in the heat. Definitely go

Great museum which includes private collection of mr and mrs Agung Rai. The ticket was a little pricey but includes a great guide book about the paintings

Beautiful museums of traditional and contemporary Balinese paintings, set inside absolutely gorgeous gardens. For the art and nature lover, not to be missed.

Agung Rai is more than an art museum. It’s a living cultural experience set in beautiful gardens with tall trees. It was wonderful to see young boys learning dance snd gamelan. Not sure where the girls were. Hopefully they get to learn too.
