A very traditional hotel and like all reviews need a bit need of renovation. We stayed for 4N .We were 2 ladies travelling on our first trip to Bali. The hotel is in an ideal location as its very near the town facilities. The staff are extremely nice and hospitable. We chose a room with pool view .The room had the bathroom and shower facility down and you need to climb creaky wooden stairs to the bedroom(ie Luggage will be carried through these stairs). Though room was clean we found it small and bit congested but its still value for money. Room has a seating area up and down on both floors. Unfortunately there is a free for all access to the below washroom and on our second night we felt scared that someone was using our washroom downstairs .However the staff were very prompt and upgraded our room to a better one (rice field view) which was amazing. Food for breakfast was good and fresh. Wonderful hotel staff too. As its a tropical place you need to expect all sorts of creatures(lizards to mosquitos) .Pools were clean and well maintained .The bathroom were clean but with rusty pipes. Hot water was available We loved the whole vibe the hotel has .Would come back but would prefer the second room(rice field view) more. The front desk staff especially (Dewa?)was really good. There is a buggy cart to take you around the hotel grounds and rooms.

If you’re looking to explore the town this is a good spot— walkable to most eateries & spas We don’t drive and we wanted to have easy access to the town. Within the compound you get to buggy around cause the room are inside amongst the villas All surrounded by rice padi and nature It’s really lovely “manicured” gardens So it nice to be outside The rooms are decent No bed bugs Shower pressure is not good but if you’re not picky it’s fine— I believe that room and breakfast u get what you paid for. But it’s made up for the compound nature beauty, the pool was lovely The staff are really friendly as well and helped us with all our inquires We also went on a low period so it feels like we got the resort to ourselves peaceful indeed

The location and staff are great. The hotel grounds are quiet and peaceful, set far back away from the noise of the main street. The room, especially the bathroom, needs to be updated. Unfortunately, the shower doesn't seem like it's ever been scrubbed. Needs a full Bleach spray down and a scrubbing pad for the shower walls and glass, along with a rubber seal for the shower door so the water doesn't flood the bathroom floor while you take a shower. You can tell that this hotel was once top-notch and very beautiful. With some bathroom renovations and some room updates, it could easily reach 3-4 stars, quite possibly even 5.

The hotel is very good and has a good location. We took a Villa for the stay. Since the villa is in the rice field you need to be ready for small insects it is very natural. It is very beautiful and the rice fields look beautiful. Both the pools are good. Lots of shops and eateries nearby.

Great location. Beautiful views from the one bed rice villa. Rooms are incredibly dark to the point that you can barely see to get ready at night. The stairs leading from bedroom to bathroom is pitch black. Dodgy plumbing in the bathroom - WC leaking on floor. Bathroom very dark. No hot water in all the time we stayed here. Little things really let the place down. We had to ask for cups/sugar although we had tea bags and a kettle! Breakfast okay but cold after around 9.30am with not alot of choice. Bed had a winter duvet on when only a sheet is needed. Staff where very friendly and polite. Not sure we would stay here again, but it is in within walking distance of bars, restaurants, monkey forest.

We booked for 2 nights but we couldn't help but ran away from here 2 hours after check in. The villa was quite run down, dark and many insects in the room and on the bed. I understand Bali has lots of green surroundings but not all of them has this level of hygienic issue. Ants are all over the towels and around toilet and water pressure was terrible. The toilet water was yellow even before we use. Smelly bed sheets and staff didn't come back after saying yes when we asked for them anti bug spray and window need to be fixed.

This hotel is a very good option for staying in the Ubud area. I think it is the best deal you can get in terms of money that you are paying and total worth for every penny that they are charging. The property size is very huge as they have the option of renting out a whole villa with a beautiful view of the rice terrace and they also have deluxe rooms like hotels. You need to use buggy service for travelling to your room as the resort is very big. You might need to wait for a few mins as It might not be available. Location I would 5 out of 5 rating as there are a lot of cafes and restaurants located nearby. Also bike rental shop, currency exchange shop, Petrol pump, Mini Mart are present at walking distance of 200m. Room Service and amenities I would rate 4 out of 5 as I didn't find any major issues apart from the small issue that hot water was not coming on tap of bathroom. Food No rating. I didn't try out food as they don't have any good options for Vegetarian food and Indian food. Overall I would recommend this resort if you are planning to stay in Ubud area.

Don’t waste your time and money on this one. We booked the luxury villa with private pool and it lacked on the luxury and privacy. The room was not clean and we had to request for toilet paper. The private pool was not so private because there was a guy living in a shack with clear view of our private pool. The laminate on the cheap ikea furniture was peeling and broken. The tub in our bathroom was filthy and unusable. I killed spiders, flies and ants in our room. A gecko was in our room and would make a loud squeak when all the lights were turned off. We ended up staying at a different hotel in the middle of the night where we didn’t have any of these problems. The property manager promised a full refund but now is not answering any messages. The only positive is that it’s in a great location in Ubud with lots of restaurants within walking distance.
