I’d recommend trying the local kopi here, it’s deep and flavourful. The kaya butter toast was average in taste, the curry chee cheong fun fell below expectations, and unfortunately, the popiah from the opposite stall was overly sweet for my liking.

Came here to have early breakfast around 6:30am. Kudos to them as almost all stalls are ready to serve. Various stalls selling typical Chinese kopitiam breakfast such as pork noodles, pan mee, prawn noodles, chee cheong fun and many more. Ordered the ginger chicken noodles which as far as I know, only available here. Type of noodles used is the wanton noodles with a hint of ginger in the broth but the chicken is extremely smooth in texture.

Located on the right side of the main entrance, this self-contained hawker center has its own unique setup — you can only order food from within the area if you're seated inside. There's a chee cheong fun stall at the entrance; although the selection of ingredients is limited, the curry is quite good, with a rich, fragrant coconut aroma.

Desperately wanted Chee Chong Fun, and came across one inside Pudu Mall where the wet market is underground (basement). It's crowded with locals, but of course all the workers are "imported" from I think Myanmar. I didn't try other foods, apparently curry laksa is famous. The auntie next to me came and asked what's famous here to the waitress. The waitress said laksa, but she ordered toast with less butter and less kaya because she has high blood pressure, literally. Then don't eat! lol The waitress was professional, butter is fixed size, can't adjust, less kaya ya, she confirmed. That's when she explained again her diet restriction. Right away, the waitress said, it's better don't have kaya then, she helped her to change her order. She admitted. The story was too interesting and it continued with dietary challenge with kopi. Unfortunately I lost that part. And the end, she ordered a soup. Maybe it's time revolution should take place. How about stores that take care of all that concern and change how we have been eaten for Malaysian eat-out? Dietary is a concern but there is no option now especially for the elderly, well average Malaysian has the highest diabetes mellitus in Southeast Asian countries. Everything wants to be No. 1, dietary street food should be the next high demand industry.

Drink and toast nice. Thick and flavorful hainan tea ; crispy toast with generous portion of butter and kaya. Other than that, sad. From this time experience, I think i will skip all the foods from those hawker stalls in the shop, if would ever visit again. The building located at a chaos area and difficult to navigate if driving. But it’s very happening, and realism; that can see the real cultural of local community in Kuala Lumpur.

It’s my first visit to ICC Pudu and it was Christmas Eve Day morning. The place was super crowded but we managed to get a table for 7 pax after a short wait at the entrance for Ah Weng Koh. There’s an Uncle at the entrance controlling the crowd (which is a good thing). The service was considered quite fast by the friendly kopitiam uncle given the crowd. And they got all the orders right. You can order food from outside (not within the area of the kopitiam) ONLY if the food you wish to eat is not sold inside the kopitiam. The drinks and toasts were GOOD. The place is somewhat comfortable, not too hot and thanks to the crowd control Uncle, it’s not overcrowded and you don’t have people looking over your shoulder hurrying you to leave. But do leave if you’ve finished your meal, let others to have the table (we also hope others will do the same for us right?)

Very crowded but we managed to get table in less than 2-3mins. Kaya butter toast and teh c were good and creamy . Wantan mee was above average. Slightly hot inside.

This was my favourite meal in KL! Was a little confused and lost when we reached, but a local in the queue was kind enough to help us get a table for 3. You just have to queue and let the uncle know how many pax you have and they will quickly allocate a table for you when it’s available. The staff recommended their signature toast and buns, as well as hainan tea - which was so fragrant!! You can order food from other stalls and dine here as well, only drinks are not allowed - just get their hainan tea here anyway it’s tasty! We got curry cheongfun and lala soup from other stores and they were so delicious omg. (P/S: curry cheongfun lady was very angsty though) The lala soup was packed full with lala, and the broth is so comforting to drink I can’t explain it but I love it. Further in there’s a store that sells pandan & brown sugar kuehs with coconut shreds, it’s not too sweet and tasted really good too! You will also see a really popular coffee store that sells claypot coffee as well, it’s so unique! Found the coffee too strong though. Spent less than 20rm/pax here in total and left super satisfied and happy! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Enjoyed my breakfast tea with slightly sweet soft and fluffy bread buns in KL. There's always a huge crowd. Get up there early, you will not have to wait in line.

Yelp
This place serves good Hailam Coffee. Food here are all not that bad, but the environment here is really not good. Only the Chinese local people like it here. It if do come here, please prepare to stand and wait for a table for some time.

Yelp
Love the block of butter in the kaya toast. You can purchase some kaya to take home too!
