Ahava Spa and Wellness Center

I traveled to Toledo for a work event and booked a day of services at Ahava (mini facial, massage, hair, and makeup) after reading the reviews. The spa did not disappoint. All of the ladies were SO very nice and did a wonderful job. The massage with Janis was one of the best I’ve ever had. I would be a regular if I lived anywhere near this place and will definitely return if I’m ever back in the area.

Absolutely loved our experience at Ahava Spa. The staff are all so friendly and the facial, massage, hydro therapy and blowout package were all wonderful. We came from Kalamazoo, MI and we will be back - it’s worth the drive!

Very nice spa day experience for my first time ever. I was greeted as I walked in and promptly taken back my Grace (whom is amazing by the way) she got me started off with the hydro tub soak which lasted about 20 mins and felt great. Next was my massage with toyia. It was a nice massage not too strenuous on the muscles. Nothing too deep. Medium pressure is all she offers. I chose to have lunch so I ate then off to my facial with Grace. The facial was surprisingly my favorite thing today. I felt so rejuvenated after. She did a few treatments, we found that one treatment wasn't reacting well for me she listened to me and immediately took it off and soothed my face. I HAVE SENSITIVE SHE DID NOTHING WRONG I WANT TO BE CLEAR! Grace was great today! Finally I was onto hair....I met up with Courtney for a shampoo and style she washed up my hair and then have it a nice curl. I had a great relaxing day today at ahava. Thanks staff for the experience.

Good location and atmosphere. Janice and Joanna are incredible massage therapists. Check out their free reserved parking spots in the rear alley before paying at the meters.

My husband got me a deluxe massage for my birthday, and it was fantastic. Not only where the front staff super nice and friendly but the massuse was great!! She was super friendly and the service was soo nice. Highly recommend!!

Today I received the full spa day! It was everything I had hoped for. Being diagnosed with Cancer and just having a day where I was just focused on making me feel better and relaxed was amazing. The place is amazing and all the ladies who took care of me were lovely. Thank you so much for my special day❤️

Workers were really nice. Unlike a regular nail salon they really get all the dead skin off and smooth any calluses down. They really went to town on my boyfriends feet! He got the spa pedicure.

I'm a cancer survivor and I was offered a free spa day. They went above and beyond taking great care of me. Highly recommend.

I was given the very best spa treatments; my whole time there was centered around my comfort! The entire staff are extremely kind, patient, skillful and devoted. I had the loveliest day; an experience I'll treasure always! I felt that each staff member is committed to making the cancer journey easier for those they serve. Words can't convey my gratitude!

I've been going to Ahava for the last four years, and it's truly my salon of choice! I get my facials, gel manicures, gel pedicures, massages, and hair services all in one place, and every experience has been consistently amazing. The staff are not only skilled and professional but also warm and welcoming, which makes every visit feel special. I always leave feeling refreshed, pampered, and valued as a customer. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch service in a relaxing, friendly environment!

My husband surprised me with the most incredible spa day! My facial with Shelly and massage with Janis were pure perfection! From start to finish I felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Every staff member was so friendly and professional. I enjoyed every second of this pampering and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend this spa to anyone!

Look elsewhere for pedicures. Today my husband and I went to ahava for a couples pedicure. Only to learn that because of a scheduling error on their part (the technician casually tried blaming us for the mistake) my husband wouldn't even be started until 40 minutes after his appointment time. And not seated next to me (due to a broken spa chair.) Yelling to him through our pedicures to communicate wasn't preferable, but not the worst thing in the world. Moving on.. My technician though very sweet, not only cut my toe, but gave me the sloppiest gel paint I've ever experienced in a professional salon. After asking her to fix the smudged gel she simply threw another coat on making it look extra thick and uneven. My husband, after waiting forty minutes after his scheduled appointment - was able to enjoy a 12 minute "pedicure". For 140 dollars, look elsewhere to treat your tootsies.

I was gifted the cherished package. I spent the entire day at this spa. I had a hydrotub, 30 min massage, facial, mani/pedi, makeup, and hair styling. I worked with 4 girls. They were all great! I have struggled to find a stylist for my hair for years and now I have to choose between the awesome woman with lots of experience and the mani/pedi tech still learning but who I absolutely adored. I was so scared when I got there and left relaxed and feeling like a princess. They made me calm down from my nerves and enjoy the experience. I will def return. They are decently priced. The atmosphere was great. Everyone seemed to love their jobs. My hair never holds waves and they made it happen! Thank your Brandi, Courtney, Kai, and Saunya!

Pleasant experience. I got a massage and a mud wrap. The mud wrap was the best part of the experience, I didn't know what to expect but it started out strange since it feels like Ahava doesn't get many men in...besides that, the mud wrap was amazing , I felt tingly as it worked on my skin, which made me feel like it was helping my skin. Massage was ok, feel like my massage wasn't really "deep tissue" which is what I asked for, however I had an overall pleasant experience, would go back for services probably not a massage though.

Ahava! You've saved my hair. More specifically, Chelsea saved my hair. I just moved to Toledo and was nervous about finding a new salon/stylist. Yesterday I called the salon at 9am. The receptionist was super nice! I told her I have super long blonde hair and needed a cut, but might have time for a color. She recommended Chelsea and got me in for a 10am appt. The salon is well designed and sunny! I met with Chelsea right away. She brought me some coffee and then did a quick consultation. We ended up deciding to do color as well. She is very friendly and told me she has been with the salon for about 5 years! That's says a lot about both her as a stylist and about the salon. Anyway, my cut and color both turned out perfect! I also observed the other customers while sitting there, and everybody seemed very happy and looked fantastic when walking out of there! Now, let's talk price. Coming from Chicago I was paying $125 for highlights, and about $65 for a haircut. Looking at Ahava's site, I expected to pay about $90 for highlights, and $35 for the cut. PLEASE note that I was excited about that price! HOWEVER, Chelsea informed me that A CUT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE FOR THE HIGHLIGHTS!!! It only gets better. .. I went to use the restroom and saw a sign that there was a special for a free brow wax with any color service! To sum it all up in a neat little sentence: I feel like I hit the jackpot!!! Do yourself a favor and visit them. Can't wait to stop by again for a massage!

Great place for a mani/pedi downtown!! (also offer hair and massage services which I haven't had a chance to try out yet) Super friendly and attentive staff. So glad I found this place!!

I've been to Ahava once and had a great experience. I needed a cut and mani/pedi for an upcoming wedding. I saw Sonya, who I tasked with not only seeing me as a new client, but also giving me something different. She did a great job. I've received so many compliments on my new style! I saw Sarah for my nails. She was professional and did a great job. I did classic polish (not gel). My manicure lasted almost two weeks, and my pedi still looks good at a few days shy of 3 weeks.

Really wonderful staff gave my mom and I another great experience last week. My mother received a pedicure and haircut and styling; I got a manicure. We were so pleased with the attention-to-detail and friendliness of the staff, and the work they did! Will return again!

I have had back and neck pain constantly for weeks. I had not been able to get a massage for over a year. I got the deep tissue deluxe and I feel like a totally new person. Zero pain. Will not wait another 15 months. Megan was my masseuse - she is amazing!

Ahava is a popular salon located in the Warehouse District of Toledo. Parking is free during downtown lunch hours, and you can usually get a spot. If you are unfortunate enough to go during, say, a Mudhen's game, as there are free lots about a block up the street as well as more on-street parking. This salon caters to women, so I recommend that if you are a man, you go to Elva (not because the other stylists aren't talented, but she seems to have a bustling male clientele, on the rare occasion I actually encounter a man there). What's cool about this place is that they often are open well into the evening for the post-work commute: Monday 12:00pm - 5:00pm (select services) Tuesday 11:00am-8:00pm Wednesday 9:00am-8:00pm Thursday 9:00am-8:00pm Friday 9:00am-6:00pm Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm This was great when I had a "real job" and could hop off the AW Trail for a quick cut. There are plenty of awesome barbers in Toledo, such as the Golden Razor over off of Central near Cricket West or the West Toledo Barber Shop on Eleanor/Lewis. Most shutter their doors before the 9-5 types can get a haircut. The flexibility of Ahava is pretty good. If you want to roll the dice, they usually have a walk-in special, and that's fine. I'll gladly pay a few extra bucks for the consistency both myself and my partner have received from Elva, but everybody seems pretty pumped to be there. It's noisy: all of the stylists and customers seem to be regulars to one another. They will try to frame you with murder to get you to buy hair gel, but that's basically every salon.

A month and and half ago Dew and I planned a couples spa day at Avaha Spa and wellness. Walked in for our 11:00am appointment and they lost our reservations due to a computer crash. Gabby at the front desk clearly did not give a shit that this happened. She also did not try to make other arrangements to accommodate us not one apology was heard from her. This is so very upsetting since we were looking so forward to celebrating our anniversary. This is very disappointing that this is how they handle these situations. Stay clear of this place.

Visited Ahava Salon while visiting family in the area. My hair was driving my crazy and I could not wait to get back to Philadelphia to fix it. Kayla was my stylist and she is FABULOUS! Super friendly and very helpful with color, cut and style. I had been wanting bangs for a decade but never had the nerve to go for them. Kayla was very patient and encouraging, she cut a beautiful shaggy fringe for me and I am super happy with everything. Great cut and color, loving the bangs. Will definitely return when I visit again!

I've grown up having my aunt (a stylist) do my hair, so when I finally decided to find a salon you could say I was skeptical. My best friend referred me to Jayme- who could not have been more incredible. She knows exactly what will look good on you and is brutally honest. (And as a 22 year old who makes rash decisions, I'm grateful) After going to Ahava for awhile, I came to the conclusion that Jayme was usually pretty booked up and started going to Chelsea, who was training at the time...where do I begin. Incredible person, incredible stylist. She literally could not do a better job with my hair. When I first got my bangs cut, she effortlessly made them EXACTLY how I wanted!! I recommend absolutely anyone at this salon. A true gem of Toledo!

I came into town for a wedding and needed a last minute mani/pedi. Ahava was great about fitting me in. Keo did a PERFECT job on my nails, and was super nice and interesting to talk with. Overall a wonderful experience!

Great staff! Great location, I've gotten numerous massages from them and they don't disappoint. The prices are industry standard and I don't feel all pressured after the fact to get a membership like at massage envy.

I get my nails done here every 2 weeks by Quintina. She is amazing. The gel lasts 2 weeks+ every single time and is applied smoothly, I am very picky with whom does my nails so I wouldn't steer you in the wrong direction. Definitely the best in Toledo!

let me start by saying "keo" whom I had the pedi by is wonderful! great at what she does! my only 4starts come in more w/customer service. As I was glancing looking over what nail polish I would like "Lauren" rushes around corner to make sure she tells me that they are limiting hand touching on polishes so make sure the ones I touch I put on "her" desk so she can sanitize them! Which I only had grabbed one! (due to COVID) which is really fine & I understand, but what I don't understand is as I am getting pedi a women, and women of Laurens' same race & what I figured out was her friend came in about 15min after me and was touching & grabbing several & lauren just looks at her & glanced at me and NEVER advised her of any of the policy that she told me! and the thing is she just let the ones that were touched and picked up just be put back on shelf. Then they both continued to touch and grab several and just left put on shelf! hmmm cant make sense of this!! Either post a sign or make sure you let all your customers aware of same policy/guidelines not just pick and choose who these rules are for, especially during this health war we are already fighting!!
