Ahdoos Hotel

Good place to have kashmiri food. Amazing taste. Chincken masala and rogan josh was good. Chicken Biryani was amazing. Bakery on ground floor was amazing. We had couple of pastries all were good. Expect 15 mins wait time.

Ahdoos hotel is located in near the market area. Lal chowk is at a walkable distance and there are many shops , supermarkets nearby the hotel. The hotel has its own restaurant which serves Wazwah. The waiters are rude and unbothered specially during breakfast time. Waiter will upfront ask for tip while you are paying bill. They served us Kahwa as welcome drink and I have not had such tasty Kahwa . Rooms are nice and big. But room lights are dim. You just cannot see anything in the room with such dim lights The staff at reception is rude and extremely unwelcoming. They were least bothered of their guests.

Extremely disappointing experience – poor service, packed food, and rude staff I went for a takeaway and ordered methi maz, only to be shocked when they served a packed, tinned version of the dish. The smell and taste made it obvious that it wasn’t freshly prepared, and the quality was terrible. The staff at the restaurant was equally disappointing—rude, unresponsive, and full of attitude. They didn’t even bother acknowledging when I tried to speak to them. Later, I visited the bakery section Crème, where the carelessness continued. I was made to wait 20–30 minutes just to get a box packed in a bag. Despite repeatedly asking how long it would take, the staff seemed completely indifferent. To top it all off, the parking situation was a nightmare. The parking attendant was outright rude and refused to let us park in an available spot, saying it was “only for VIPs” and that no space was available for us. Overall, a terrible experience from start to finish—poor food quality, indifferent service, and extremely unprofessional staff. Would not recommend at all. Perched at the bustling Residency road , Ahdoos hotel serves one of the best Kashmiri Wazwan in the heart of Srinagar. Electrifying ambience complete with high end decor makes Ahdoos the go to place for having a meal to the heart’s content. The Wazwan is priced at 1300/- and comprises of 8 items . There is also a vegetarian option of Wazwan which is priced less. Though it may look overhyped to some but worth trying once. A must visit if you want to explore the culinary delights of Srinagar.

The stay in Hotel Ahdoos was really great. The Hotel, the staff, the amenities is 10 / 10. Everything was so good and perfect in the hotel except the cab driver Bilal whose no was shared by the hotel because at the the time of pickup on arrival date he was a nice guy but talking so much and telling us the rates *3 times more than the normal rates for the local sightseeings. So, at the time departure after 3 days his behaviour was not at all good and argued alot regarding the same after paying the complete amount too which was already discussed and that too in front of my parents. So, everything is so good but please take care for these types of drivers so that our experience or other guests experience doesn't gets hampered. I'll be booking again this hotel for the month of May and i will recommend this hotel always.

The place is well known for the wazwan food they serve. With common orders that are placed we also ordered - Mutton seekh kebab - 3/5 Mutton mirch shorba- 4/5 ( both meat and i gravy were classic) Mutton Dhaniya shorba -3/5 ( meat was dry and too umami for my liking, gull points for gravy ) We ordered butter roti but got It without butter. Then we had some garlic naan which had a minuscule level of garlic in it 😆 But non the less it was tasty . And the kids had the same food so no issues here only the restaurant was quite a bit unhygienic could improve there a lot .

Hotel rooms are very old and not maintained.Hotel staff is very rude. Breakfast was not buffet and everyday they have same set menu to order from. Surprisingly they have a bakery and no bakery item was there in set breakfast. Only location is good near to Lal chowk.

Hotel located in main Srinagar market, near to lal chowk. Hotel service is good, we went for the dinner to try Famous Kashmiri Rogan Josh, taste was good, but it’s costly.
