Highly overdue review, but as I now exit the middle-of-the-night-feeding stage and think back on my early postpartum days, I can say without hesitation that staying with Ahma & Co was the single best decision I made for my postpartum self. It wasn't just a retreat; it was a sanctuary that did more for my bodily and emotional healing than anything else over the last few months. I know that a lot of Ahma & Co families book their stay to start right out of the hospital, but I spent a few weeks with my newborn at home before driving down to LA. So, by the time I checked in with Ahma, I was ready to be pampered. My expectations were really high! The care here is on another level. The doulas were out-of-this-world amazing—they didn't just care for my baby; they empowered me with confidence. The tailored postpartum menu was deeply restorative and delicious (I still dream about that tofu katsu!), and the founder's dedication and care for every family that stays with Ahma was really inspiring to see. For the first time, I could truly rest. I had access to around-the-clock support for my child from the most loving, knowledgeable group of women while I focused entirely on my recovery. By the end of our stay, the team at Ahma felt like family. Truly. I cannot recommend Ahma enough—it is an invaluable investment in your new family. I'm already planning my stay for Baby No. 2! (And yes, highly recommended for dads, too—my husband probably enjoyed the peace of mind and support just as much as I did!)

Had the most amazing week at Ahma & Co! As a first time mom navigating the postpartum period, I felt so comforted knowing I could lean on the staff every step of the way. Everyone there was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure I felt supported and cared for. The food was absolutely delicious—so thoughtfully prepared, nourishing, and exactly what my body needed as I focused on healing and recovering. Every meal felt like a gift. I’m truly grateful for the warmth and care I experienced throughout my stay. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, comforting, and restorative postpartum retreat.

I had such a great experience with Ahma & Co. The level of care and expertise was truly exceptional, especially the one-to-one attention for both me and my baby. From start to finish, I felt completely relaxed, supported, and in the best hands. The quality of the food was outstanding. I received excellent, fresh meals three times a day, with a fully customized menu prepared by the chef. I also had complicated dietary restrictions, and they handled everything. The staff’s demeanor was warm, calm, professional, and incredibly attentive. I felt completely comfortable leaving my baby in their care, and they regularly checked in and kept me updated. Everything was thoughtfully tailored to my personal needs and preferences. This was a true luxury experience that I wouldn’t have been able to have anywhere else postpartum. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Ahma and Co for five days after having my first baby, and it was honestly the best decision I made. I was in pain, tired, and completely unsure of what to do, but the Ahma team cared for me and my baby so perfectly that I still think about it all the time. Without them, I know I’d still be struggling. The moment we walked into the room, everything was beautifully prepared. There was a baby bassinet, all the postpartum essentials, and the view from the room was incredible. I even found a robe with my baby’s name on it, which was the sweetest touch. Every day, a doula stayed with me to make sure both the baby and I were well cared for. I could ask questions anytime and always felt supported. The program covered everything from baby education to meals and massages, and every part of it felt thoughtful and well done. The massages were hands down the best I’ve ever had. The food was amazing too. It was delivered to the room for every meal, and not once did I get tired of it. My husband actually ended up joining me for the room service because it was that good. I truly recommend this experience to every new mom. My recovery felt so much faster thanks to their care. Esther, Julie, and the entire Ahma team treated every detail with so much attention and warmth. I’m already planning to go back for a longer stay when we have our second baby.

Ahma was an amazing and incredible experience. We stayed for four nights and it was exactly what we needed in a postpartum retreat from start to finish. As a preliminary, communication with the team and owner was incredible start to finish. They reached out before our stay and were in contact/flexible with dates based on our baby’s due date. Once we arrived the team was incredible, kind, informative, and continued to communicate everything with us (schedule, classes, food, charges, etc). I was shocked by how incredible the food was. I was a little concerned it might be too healthy but it was delicious. Also, I’m not a fan of fish, and they were able to accommodate my meals. The hotel was beautiful and it was so nice to get some quality time with our baby (while getting some much needed sleep). The doulas and the owner (Esther) are beyond professional and gave us peace of mind when we left our baby with them. I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Ahma is worth every penny.

What an overdue review! We stayed at Ahma & Co a couple months back when my daughter was 6 weeks old. I can’t tell you enough what a transformative experience this was for me. I truly think that it helped me stave off postpartum depression. The access to the doulas 24/7, the educational workshops, the food, the location, the massage, the goodies!! Looking back, it’s one of the best things that I did for myself postpartum and I could not recommend it more!! I tell every new mom I meet about it. Do not hesitate to book it. You won’t regret it at all!!

What a wonderful experience this was for our family! We stayed for 4 nights and the care from the Ahma team was top notch. They took our newborn for each night so we could get some much need rest and rejuvenation. The thoughtfulness and expertise from each team member of Ahma made us feel secure in knowing our child was well taken care of. The hotel and grounds are stunning and a short walk to the beach in the warm sunshine made us feel alive again after feeling so cooped up as one does after having a newborn. Being able to have some free time to relax did wonders for our mental health. I am so thankful that a service like this exists for parents to come, recharge, and prepare for the task ahead of taking care of a new baby. It is a lot! Thank you Ahma! We went to Ahma & Co. when our daughter was just three weeks old, and it was such a gift during a very vulnerable time. As a first-time mom dealing with a lot of postpartum anxiety, the staff and owner were incredibly kind, patient, and supportive from the moment we arrived. They educated us on things we didn’t even know to ask and helped me and my husband move from anxious first-time parents to feeling confident and supported as we stepped into this new chapter. What meant the most to me was how intentional they were about caring for me as the mother. They provided three nourishing meals a day, amazing massages and emotional support that made me feel truly seen and validated.
