Ahotel Ljubljana

Just spent 3 nights at this hotel, which I chose because it has free parking and is only a short drive into the centre where we were able to find short-term parking while sight-seeing. The hotel is clean & comfortable, and serves an excellent breakfast. The hotel staff were helpful & courteous. The only caveats are minor: nothing is provided in the mini-bar, however you can purchase water & hygiene essentials from a vending machine in reception. The exit from the parking lot requires care due to poor sightlines over the cycle path which crosses directly in front of the hotel. Nevertheless we would stay here again if visiting Ljubljana.

Great receprion staff just super helpful, friendly and lively especially the fantastic Oussama (lovely guy) and Jasmina so patient and kind.|Very clean hotel great size rooms,comfy beds and nice size bathroom- nice shower great water pressure.|OMG so much choice for people at breakfast..bit limited for me as vegan bit asked if had soya milk they did and rice milk and had muesli,good selection of fresh fruit,vegan smoothies and bread for toast and jams.|Yes bit outside centre of Ljubljana but 35 minute very east pleasant walk into town I enjoyed they get special rates for taxi trips with local firm so worth booking taxi via hotel as is good.

Amazing place to stay, friendly staff always willing to help wherever they can, nice and quite with a lovely view of the mountains.. Only a 25minute walk from the town or a (approx / no more than €6) taxi journey. Can't recommend this enough!!

The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. This was a lovely place to stay on our first trip to Ljubljana.

Great hotel with well trained and very friendly staff. The location is very conveniant too, one can walk into the city centre (along a very busy road), the alternative is a taxi service (6 euros each way) that can be arranged by the hotel. The room was spacious and rather modern, the bathroom well equipped and comfortable. The parking is ample and the breakfsat was all very good.

The best thing about this hotel were the staff, they all were extremely attentive and helpful. Thanks to the guidance and information available we were able to enjoy our week’s holiday in Ljubljana.|We did walk into the city on our first day but it took us about 40 mins alongside a busy road. Perfectly safe but not enjoyable. For the rest of our week we used the number 9 bus. The bus stop is only a 10 min walk away and the bus runs regularly from the Park and Ride to the city centre and bus station. The bus stop is called “Pot na Rakova Jelso” A single trip cost 1.30 Euros. |We arranged our Airport transfers through reception, cost 33 Euros each way. Taxi to City centre cost 6 Euros and to Bus station 8 Euros. Cost of taxis can be added to room bill which works well. |Easy to visit Lake Bled and Kranj from the bus station and we hired a car to visit Kranjska Gora and Lake Bohinj. |Don’t be put off by the distance from the City centre as it is easy to reach by bus or taxi. |Thanks again to the staff for their assistance during our stay.

We traveled through Slovenia and after a long night of driving needed to rest. ||We called at 6:00am because we urgently needed to rest.||It was the best choice to call Ahotel, offering ultra-early check-in at 06:30am. ||We arrived and had a friendly welcome and after sharing the fact that won't stay for the night, we were invited to have breakfast at the moment of arrival.||All staff was friendly, room clean, great warm atmosphere in the hotel. ||The friendliness and flexibility were outstanding and deserve a high recommendation with a 5 star review.

Brilliant location, spacious and comfortable. Right in the heart of where you want to be and with parking. Zagreb is fabulous.
