Ai Giardini di San Vitale

We have fond memories of our stay. The garden is particularly beautiful, even though we were hardly able to use it due to bad weather. The rooms are rustic but fine. Only the extremely loud ventilation in the bathroom is a little annoying – but it can be turned off. The location is great and the owners are very attentive. Parking was included. Unfortunately, we returned a little later one evening (around 9:30 p.m.), and the parking lot was already closed, so we had to look for a public parking option. Communication in German and/or English was no problem, and we received good tips for our stay.

Comfy, convenient and good value. Nice continental breakfast. Convenient to walk to all the city centre sites. Friendly host and staff. Clean and comfy in every way. Good shower and bathroom facilites. It would have been great to have access to tea/coffee making facilities but know this isn't standard in many European countries, so not complaining! Thoroughly recommend!

TL;DR: We can’t recommend this place enough. My family (two adults and a five year old) were incredibly lucky that we picked Ai Giardini di San Vitale. The owners are some of the sweetest people we ever met who saved our lives on a few occasions including warning us on the lack of easy transportation in Ravenna, and caring for us when we arrived. The room we had was incredibly spacious, classy, and clean. We received an excellent restaurant recommendation for the area for dinner. All in all an absolute treasure or a place. Thanks to the amazing owners own personal dedication to us, we were able to make our cruise on time. They truly care about the people and were so incredibly wonderful. If you’re looking for a cozy, wonderful place to stay you should absolutely stay here. The attention to care and comfort is some of the best I’ve ever seen. We can’t express our gratitude enough.

The owner of the B&B, like my grandpa, is very friendly and a gentleman. Although he looks a bit like a big leader from Sicily when he doesn't smile. We stayed here for 4 consecutive days which was very great. Since the second day, the owner already remembered that my favour in drinking cappuccino for the breakfast! 😍 The overall stay has a family-like feel with a beautiful small garden. Little Gray Rabbit is very closed to people. Rooms are cleaned every day, and it's very convenient to be within walking distance to the train station, restaurants or historical sites.

Lovely place with a beautiful garden in the back where a lovely full breakfast is set each morning with excellent cappuccino available to wake you up. Easy walking distance to the Unesco mosaics and some really fine restaurants. Even though Ravenna hosts so famous an art center, people are friendly and helpful to tourists and the couple that runs this pleasant little hotel are very helpful and engaging. One of our favorite places.

This is a very lovely, clean, hospitable Bed and Breakfast. It is very close to all of the main attractions - they are in easy walking distance.|Concetto, the host, is amiable and helpful, always smiling.|Breakfast is typical Italian - good cheese and ham, croissants and a tart of the day as well as cereals, juice and toast.|The garden is delightful and a couple of rooms open directly onto it. There is even a pet rabbit to treat.

This is an excellent bed and breakfast. The house is lovely, with a nice terrace and back garden. The rooms are not huge but are well maintained and clean. The breakfast has a good choice (mostly cereal/muesli, fruit juice, cakes, bread, jam, etc.). The Italian hosts are both lovely (multilingual - German, French and English) and gave two very good recommendations for restaurants. There is private parking in a garage about 100 metres away. And it is very close to the centre and the main sights in Ravenna. About 7 or 8 minutes walk to the San Vitale Basilica. Recommended.
