Google
Ai mart recently opened an ice cream stand and the ice cream is yummy and big portions! Lots of Asian flavours I saw ube ice cream, Oreo, matcha, rose, almond, chocolate mint to name a few!

Google
Nice market filled with Asian products. Highly recommend the ice cream. Mango was so refreshing!

Google
The ice cream is incredible. Oftentimes other shops will sell rose, lavender, or durian that come off as artificial or too overt, but ai mart’s takes on these flavors tread the line of distinct and subtle in a way that I really enjoy. On top of that, they rotate the flavors as tubs run out, so I love to stop by to see what’s currently in. The portions are large, and somehow my lactose intolerance never flares up after eating here. The staff are all welcoming and friendly as well!

Google
Convenient, well stocked Asian grocery market with ice cream station. Homemade ice cream flavors I recommend: mango, pineapple, Ube Friendly staff.

Very nice, clean and organized grocery store for all your Asian food need in LIC. I’m amazed that they have lots of snacks and soft drinks choices and don’t have to travel far. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming! One of the staff told me that their vegetables were delivered daily to make sure they have the freshest produce. They also have a tiny nook for you to have a quick bite of breads, sushi, drink and snacks. Highly recommended!!!

Very friendly staff and great selection of products from East and South-East Asia; some fresh produce, frozen food, snacks, ready-to-eat, and ice cream in the summer (with creamy and unique Asian flavors like ube, kumquat and brown sugar). Would recommend!

Google
What a cute new store! It's got the essentials and the price is pretty reasonable. It's clean. Well organized and everything is very easily located. It's got hot pot ingredient supplies, snacks, dress up ramen supplies , etc...

Yelp
This has become my top grocery store in the area! They always have a great selection of bok choy and mushrooms, as well as pantry staples. The staff is sooo friendly. And they just started serving ice cream!

Yelp
There was an incident that made me reconsider my patronage in this site and I no longer set my foot here in the premise. I brief the reason behind such a turn of event so that you'd possibly avoid misfortunes and extremely vile experiences I had with this merchant. To put it as simple as possible, it was as below: 1) no customer service they provide: their business practice is practically get money and exchange with merchandises right on the spot. This is usually good enough (in 19th century) or on a good day. If/when a problem occurs, however, it becomes a nightmare. I had to report them the hell out to the financial institution when I learned a card transaction with them went away and had to ask them to correct, just to be ignored and dismissed. Long story short, they refused to engage, saying all kinds of junk. They seemed to think they can get away with every shady deeds or issues by not providing customer service or no means of communication with them (?) but... what kind of cavemen are they? I tried to get in touch with them like any time when cards involved (and went wrong, questionable or flat out misused) in the year of 2025. They turned out to be actively neglectful and deceptive with regards to resolving the issue, just grinning hard, playing dumb. How far do they think they could get, however, without providing transparent and comprehensive customer care after heavy yet dubious transactions were handled via cards? All they say was 'Soowy, dunno,' followed by again, vigorous, hard yet anxious grinning. 2) they seemed to focus on selling Japanese (?) goods to Chinese customers(?)and not interested in any other range of service. But in the u.s? At least, their communication in English is marginal, and they were not adamant to correct falsely conducted business when they were at fault, not on my end. Too bad, I was ready to frequent here but not any more. These people were wrong to do business with and they didn't fix anything but the card entity did. When the financial institute who ultimately approved my claim suggested I stop going there after acknowledging their business practice not sufficing the standard practice in the U.S. and I had to agree. Since then, I have been keeping away diligently.

Yelp
This place is more $$ than your typical grocery store. The kimchi is $2 more than at Key Food. Did the price stop me from buying a whole bunch of snacks tho? Ofc not. Service is good. They have 2 benches, & a table with stools by the window. They have an ice cream station called "AI's Cream". They have flavors I don't think I've seen anywhere else like rose, kumquat, pina colada, sour plum, & wild flower. They provide samples. 5/5 rose ice cream cone ($6/2 scoops in cone)- The rose flavor & fragrance was perfectly strong enough. There's rose petals & I think there was even a rosebud in it. Wish they'd made it look more aesthetic. If you're OCD & want perfectly round scoops, this ain't the place for you. Also, the ice cream station got busy once we went there. 5/5 kumquat ice cream: Not sure if I've had actual kumquat before, but I've def seen food flavored with it. This was perfectly sour, slightly sweet, so good. As much as I love sour stuff & as good as this was, I liked the rose more. 3/5 wildflower ice cream- after tasting the rose ice cream, I couldn't taste any flower in this. I think I tasted honey tho. This was really sweet. I'd come back here just for the ice cream. I'd love to try sour plum & pina colada next time.

Yelp
Cute and convenient neighborhood grocery store, but prices for produce can be a bit exorbitant. I saw a dozen eggs here listed for $13.99! I got a bento box to go and the quality was just alright. The chicken was cooked fine, but the sauce that came with it had a very goopy texture (think uncooked egg whites, but more gelatinous). The veggies in the bento were also all slightly wilted and a bit sad, but zapping everything in the microwave at work helped a bit.

Yelp
Grabbed an eel onigiri while on the go. Competitively priced at $2.99 for the item. As with many onigiri sandwiches, taking them out of the wrapper can be a challenge for less skilled individuals like myself. Heavy on the rice and not much eel, but I can't be too mad at this price point.

Yelp
This great little Asian market has become a weekly tradition for my family. We call it 'the snack store' because it fills our snack needs for the week. The employees that work there are friendly too. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Love coming here for the array of Chinese buns that they get delivered fresh . They have from savory to sweet. Their drink selection is a bunch of varieties.

Yelp
9/24/2024 - at lunch time, my friend and walked over to check what it had and was pleasantly surprised, the store is very deep and has a lot of things without it feeling cluttered. Prices are not that high and downright affordable for LIC area. My friend bought a bag full of stuff but I stuck to my goal and kept tabs on what I can have for lunch, like the triangle Onigiri (real, plum or salmon) Chinese pastry with hot dogs, premade meal boxes, and etc. I definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
For some reason, I thought there was an H-Mart in the area, but the closest similitude is Ai Mart, which is conveniently located next to the Court Sq-23rd St (E/G/M/7) station. There is a limited produce section, a locally baked goods section, and a larger pantry selection in the back. For a small space, I am quite surprised with the variety of goods offered at Ai Mart. It's a great place to load up on snacks but if you are looking for fresh groceries that are not pantry staples, then I would suggest going elsewhere.

Yelp
Clean market with a lot of selection of Asian products you normally wouldn't find in most mainstream grocery stores like Trader Joe's TradeFair or Key Foods. We were looking specifically for the Twin Marquis brand of noodles and they had that brand and a few variety of cooked refrigerated meals. Also found San Miguel Filipino ice cream (Macapuno yes!). I could've done some damage here with their selection of teas, chilled fruit beverages, flavored milks, etc. Great market with a variety of Asian food products in the neighborhood! A block off the 7 train!

Yelp
This place has a great meat selection. I was pleasantly surprised. The snack section is really nice. I'm not allowed in this place without adult supervision. They have the white rabbit candy that I absolutely love and cannot find in this area. So happy we have more Asian markets in the area. The inside was very clean and open space. I loved that it was next to extremely quite. I felt very calm shopping. My next thing is learning the language so I can prepare my foods with all the special seasonings. Their frozen food section has some really good treats. I had to leave the store before I spent all my money. I appreciated that I was able to spend under $5 without a fee. Also they don't have anyone walking around watching you while you're shopping. There's some stores in the area that do this and it is very uncomfortable. Sometime in the future they will accept snap benefits in case you're in the program. I was really happy they had fresh fruit as well. I didn't think there was going to be much in the store but there was. I cannot believe I waited this long to check it out. The person who checked us out was very friendly and polite. Definitely come here for some Asian treats.

Yelp
When I first walked by Ai Mart, I was expecting a small, limited Asian grocery store with hefty markups on the few items they have (like many others in the area). However, I was pleasantly surprised - Ai Mart has a great selection of essentials at a reasonable price, and has proven to be an invaluable source of convenient Asian produce. They also seem to have plenty of ready-to-eat meals and even have a microwave and some seating if you wanted to reheat your food and eat there!

Yelp
While across the street visiting Multisweet, this supermarket caught my eye. Decided to swing by and check it out. It's great to have an Asian supermarket near by in LIC. It's not a huge supermarket like in Astoria, Elmhurst, or Flushing, though for something quick, it's a time saver in commuting. They have the basics (bakery items, ready to eat food, limited meat selection, frozen Items, candy and beverages -- not a complete list) and some unique items, as well as wine. The employee was very welcoming and if you have any questions I'm sure he would help you out. If you are in the neighborhood, go check them out.

Yelp
Ai Mart is the newest Asian little grocery/mart in the LIC neighborhood. They have a nice selection and diversity of Asian food/snacks as well as some fresh ingredients like fruits and vegetables. Most of the selection is East Asian, although I did see some Southeast Asian food from Filipino, Indonesian and Thai products which, for me, is a plus when I don't want to travel to Woodside/Elmhurst or even Flushing from LIC. Ai Mart is conveniently located near the E/M/G/7 train and local buses. Staff are always welcoming and the store is clean. Accepts cash, card and Applepay.

Yelp
If you thought this was just another small Asian market you are wrong. This place has literally everything the other stores don't have - hyper specialized pejoy (red bean, lavender tea, etc...). They also have the Chinese bakery buns I crave and they're made perfectly. Their corn bun is my absolute favorite. They have hype items like Everydaze's collagen drinks (not even Teso Mart had these and that place is like 6x bigger!). One time I needed tamarind paste and I couldn't find it anywhere - they didn't think they had it either but we searched and voila....there it was on their shelf as a newly advertised item! They have frozen buns, a huge variety of drinks, great snacks, and the best sauce selection for Asian sauces I've seen. What was a "I guess I'll support a local business by seeing what they've got" has turned into a weekly must-go. Their prices are also fairly reasonable considering some of the items I haven't seen literally anywhere else. Anyway, highly recommend this little market - it has a lot.

Yelp
Accidentally found this biz while looking for a cafe in the area and decided to check back soon after. I was in awe with the selections and how clean this place was. You can find tons of Japanese, thai and other Asian snacks here. They also carry quite a few brands of jasmine rice. I managed to grab a few things there and highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Some parts in queens are notorious for " cash only", but this place takes cards and Apple Pay! You're welcome

Yelp
Cute and clean Asian mart; it is small but has essential Asian items that you find in a large Chinese supermarket (i.e. sesame oil, mochi donut ice cream, bak choy, snacks, etc.) It is pretty organized and a nice addition to the neighborhood. It is pretty convenient since I can't find these items unless I go to flushing (which is pretty far) or Manhattan.
google avatar

Lucy L.

Yelp
Newly opened grocery mart providing a vast variety of Asian goods like snacks, produce, seasoning, beverages, and so on. It'd a small family run store and the price of the items are very reasonable. The place is very organized, clean, open, and on a very convenient location. It's got the essentials too. Now I don't have to scoot over to Manhattan or flushing for my Asian goodies!

Yelp
Ai Mart has a well curated selection of Asian themed grocery items, including fresh greens like bok choy and lemon grass, dragon fruit (seasonal), and delicious desserts like ube cream and those black sesame, pandan, red bean macaron flavors, yum! It's clean, easy to shop, had a friendly and helpful cashier, and the prices weren't bonkers. Sure it's a little pricier than Chinatowns but only by a few cents on some ramen and a couple of dollars on others, really not bad to save time and travel fare and obviously understandable given overhead costs here. Excellent addition to the neighborhood!

Yelp
If you're looking for some authentic ingredients they have it and if they don't you can come back the following week and it'll be there .

Wendell T.

Yelp
they sell Kaya coconut spread, fresh ginger, natto. It's very pan-Asian, just enough of everything. For example, three brands of Taiwanese pineapple cake. You don't need 15 brands, right?

Yelp
It's weird to review a grocery store, but I really like this place! Small yet efficient store. Seemingly fresh produce, great selection of ramen, sauces, drinks that you wouldn't find at your typical stores. Staff are really friendly too. Plus, it feels like you are supporting a small business when you are there, so that is of course a plus.

Yelp
This is the cutest little Asian market! They have anything you might need in a pinch. There's a big selection of noodles, snacks, and drinks. They also have a selection of fresh veggies and frozen foods.

Yelp
Ai Mart is located close to the Court Sq Station. The place has produce and snacks. When I entered, there was no one. After going through the store to see what it has to offer, I brought some bakery items. They were similiar to the one at the Chinese bakeries.

Lek A.

Yelp
Be prepared to be conspicuously racially profiled while browsing if you're a member of a certain ethnicity. They had some ramen options that would could also be sold at other markets like H-mart; I will go to h-mart instead

Yelp
Clean and well stocked Asian market with very friendly customer service. In addition to fresh produce, meat, fish, and fresh baked items they also carry a plethora of imported snacks and desserts.

Yelp
This is what I've been waiting for!!! Asian produce and eateries are very lacking in LIC. I wish there were more options. We are lucky to have a new Teso around but it still doesn't address all the groceries needs. I accidentally stumble across AI Market. The store is tiny but they carry everything you need to cook a good Asian meal! Everything is fresh and neatly organized. Love the meat and veggies fridge! Too bad they don't carry crustaceans. This will now be my LIC asian groceries go to place from here on out!

Yelp
Small, selection is ok. Nothing amazing, but definitely better than a bodega. feels sparse

Yelp
Great selection of groceries with a asian touch. Tasty selections. Nice staff, reasonable prices

Yelp
Very nice store. Clean and the staff are. Ice and helpful. Prices seem fair. Small but good frozen meat section.
