"We named Kansas City as one of the best places to go in 2023–and writer Caitlin Morton tipped the winter opening of Aida as one of many reasons to add the city to your list. It's from the team behind big sister and neighbor The Truitt, an eight-room boutique that won hearts with its local ethos. Aida promises more of the same: eight rooms, all gorgeously decked out and within walking distance of some of Kansas City's prettiest and most historic areas."

A genuinely perfect experience! Intimate and lovely. The hosts were beyond helpful even with an after hours phone call. The Aida is walking distance to museums and parks, features complimentary snacks, and has a gorgeous garden. You can’t find such a beautiful or more interesting place to stay in KC.

My husband and I LOVED our stay at the Aida. The owners were very quick to respond to our emails, check in was super easy. The bed was SO comfortable. I loved all of the small details they put into our stay. I will 100% stay here again and have already recommended to friends to stay here while in KC. 5 stars from us!

LOVED staying here. 10/10. The staff was so friendly and prompt with all communication. I felt extremely comfortable traveling and staying in this hotel as a single woman. The room was absolutely gorgeous… and the rainfall shower, FANTASTIC. The vibe was so romantic and eclectic. I will definitely be staying again in my future trips to KC.

My husband and I were lucky enough to find this delightful place. Our , sadly, only one night stay was perfect in every way. After a very long driving day we sat on the porch and enjoyed the atmosphere. The bed was so comfy! You can't go wrong with this place.

Our recent stay at The Aida couldn’t have been better. As a matter of fact, it was magical! My husband and I always try to stay in independently owned, small boutique hotels when we travel and The Aida did not disappoint! First of all, the hotel itself was impeccably designed and furnished. Surprises at every turn! I thoroughly enjoyed drinking my morning coffee while admiring all of the unique and exquisite pieces in the living room and sitting room. Our room was perfect! The bed was comfortable and the hand dipped chocolates were a very nice touch. I plan to share our experience with family and friends, and we will definitely stay at one of your two properties when we visit our KC family. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. Perfect location in lovely neighborhood, all within walking distance to art museums, restaurants, and parks. The hotel itself was a work of art! Was like walking into Architectural Digest magazine! Hosts and housekeeper were all super responsive to our inquiries and requests. Very memorable stay!

Google
Aida Hotel never disappoints! It is a beautiful property - very well appointed with all of the special amenities one would expect in a five star hotel. Aida Hotel is a real treasure. It’s our home away from home when we visit our son. Can’t wait to return! ||Thank you Ryan & David for all that you do to assure each guest a very special experience.

If you’re looking for a quiet, chic, and intimate stay in Kansas City, near all the popular places, this is the place to book your stay. It’s safe, beautiful, and an iconic stay. You will feel at home, but also on vacation. I highly recommend. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very well accommodated.

Yelp
Kansas City hotel with first class service! a stunning boutique hotel located in the KC metro area. It is super close the Plaza and Westport making it a great spot for a KC staycation or for friends from out of town. From the moment we arrived it felt like I was in a movie. The outside felt like a castle. The inside felt like home. Gorgeous decor and small touches that you will love. Upon our arrival we were treated to a bottle of wine which was a perfect way to kick off date night. Very quiet rooms (can't hear your neighbors), super soft beds (like I melted into the bed), amazing shower (think waterfall calmness) and a personal touch you can't get from a chain hotel.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I stayed at The Aida for a mini week vacation in Kansas City. It's in a great location and the hotel is BEAUTIFUL. You can tell that Ryan and David absolutely love what they do because of the detail that goes into the place. Felt safe with our unique digital code lock on our room and a beautiful comfortable room. We look forward to staying here every time we visit KC!

Yelp
This hotel is excellent and was just what I was looking for on my 2-day business trip. (But this would be great for a weekend spot with my husband as well.) The rooms are unique and beautiful but still comfortable. I appreciate the key code entry without the need for check in/out. The only reason for the 4-star rating instead of 5 is the parking situation. The Kemper lot used for parking for the hotel is a short walk away. I arrived late at night (by myself) with a number of bags and parked on the street (which the email says you can do) so I didn't have to walk far. I woke up the next day and found my car was broken into. If you stay here, park in the lot (there's cameras) and NOT on the street.

Yelp
If you're looking for a little staycation or have friends in town, I would highly recommend they stay here. There is so much to offer here outside of the traditional hotel. Check-in is easy and parking is offered on the street and at a lot nearby. the hotel is decorated beautifully. rooms are spacious and decorated to match the aesthetic of the hotel. Snacks and drinks are available. Coffee and champagne are available in the lobby. There is a great outside area with a fountain and outdoor seating. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Amazing, amazing, amazing. This boutique hotel is a gem. We stayed in a beautiful two bedroom suite with an insane bathroom. The shower alone fits 4-6 people, oh my! Great location - central to everything, especially the museums. Tons of street parking. You walk up to this amazing manor (see my pics) and walk into a downstairs with two stunningly decorated sitting rooms. Our suite was on the second floor and was crazy gorgeous. Dramatic black painted walls, black on black design in the bathroom, modern fixtures with tasteful design and style. Quiet AND the hosts had locally sourced high-end chocolates as a guest gift (which were delicious). Loved the self-check in with electronic access. Streamlined the whole process and accommodated us due to our late arrival because of flight schedules. I would 100% stay in this place again if I'm back in town.

Yelp
I love this hotel, and it's clear the owners David and Ryan do too. There is so much attention to detail and style in every corner. On top of the stunning interior design the rooms and beds are incredibly comfortable. If you stay here you will get form and function! Bonus points for being a queer friendly space in these scary times!

Yelp
The Aida was a wonderful place to stay. The decor is really outstanding. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. If you are looking for a unique experience the Aida is for you. I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
This little hidden gem is fabulous. Our broker made reservations for myself and three coworkers while we were here from out of town and each room is beautiful and so comfortable, but they've really thought of more than just the design. The makeup towel smells like lavender as do the pillows on the bed. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on. The bedding is luxurious and crisp. I stayed in Suite1 and it was fabulous. Thanks!

Yelp

Yelp
This room was fantastic and is in a great location too ! The owners obviously take pride in their hotel and it shows in all of the luxurious details. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed. We will definitely be back !
