One of my favourite places for birdwatching in Catalonia. If you go early you will often see deer and wild boar, lots of flamingos and storks right now plus lots of birds of prey. I’ve seen Goshawk, Bonelli’s, Sparrowhawk, Kestrel, Marsh Harrier and Peregrine during the winter months. Always fun to watch the skydivers in the distance too!

Wonderful place to take a nice long walk amongst the beautiful nature. Would be fun to bike around too. Loved the little bird watching posts.

I found this nature reserve while looking for reserves near Roses in Spain. I have been birdwatching for over sixty years and I consider this reserve to be one of the best. Timing is of course a factor in birdwatching and a walk round this reserve in springtime is a wonderful experience. Walking along well maintained and level paths listening to nightingales, great reed warblers and cuckoos was brilliant. On two visits I saw and heard seventy different species. If you are a birdwatcher and are in the area I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Great place for visiting. You have different routes for walking, during your trip you can see various spices of birds, animals, plants. Perfect for coming with children. You pay only 5€ for parking and enjoy all the day.

Beautiful place to spend the day! As a couple and especially with kids. And you only have to pay parking which is €5, the entrance to the park is free! Highly recommend it to disconnect from the city and spend some time in nature.
