Lovely hotel in a stunning location. Family run, with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food, with a particularly generous breakfast, cheese, and desert selection. Rooms are a bit basic but charming, and the bathrooms have been modernized throughout. Close to train and bus connections making it easy to get anywhere you want in the valley.

It was so wonderful to return to Hotel Aiguille du Midi after 15 years. The hotel is in the most beautiful of locations, with absolutely stunning mountain views on their doorstep. It is a 5th generation family hotel (which is such a rarity), it has a lovely friendly, welcoming atmosphere, delicious breakfasts and dinners and cozy traditional decor - it was like coming home each day, at the end of a day of skiing. Access to Chamonix and its resorts was easy with the bus and train. We loved our 8 day stay and will definitely be back as soon as we can.

We have stayed in this lovely family-run hotel a number of times over the years, and it remains as good and welcoming as ever. We were greeted as old friends. Comfortable room. Excellent food - the highlight is the evening dessert buffet.|A great base for exploring the magnificent Chamonix valley.

All the staff were friendly, helpful and ready to make our stay memorable and pleasant. The breakfast and dinner were very good. In the perfect location below Aiguille du Midi with a railway station and bus stop nearby providing access to all that Chamonix has to offer.

Fantastic family owned hotel. Every detail was looked after and the staff (mostly family) was passionate about making your stay memorable. Food for dinner and breakfast was the best! I would give 10 stars if allowed!

Be careful with the menu. Ex: the dessert buffet doesn’t include the fruit salad set on the same table nor the cheese set on the neighboring table to the left. Got a nasty surprise when the bill came and some incredibly rude customer service when I tried to mention my confusion. No thanks.

From the moment I arrived, Carla warmly welcomed me and she explained everything to me regarding my stay ahead. I Stayed at Hotel Aiguille Du midi for one month, which is the longest I’ve ever stayed at a hotel while travelling o/s This time around I didn’t even get through all of the hikes that I could have! Every day, it was amazing going out in either direction with several cable cars taking me up to wherever I wanted to go with loads of options of how many hours I’d choose to hike and at a pace that feels right for me. ( The multi pass for the cable cars which included bus train was very good value . It also had extra things Included that you could enjoy😀 It was a great location situated in the middle with cable cars on either side that would take you up to the Alps to do loads of hiking ! It was actually slightly to the middle and a beautiful location which was very nice to have that peacefulness without it being totally secluded and the train was only one minute walk away!(No noises from the train station at all!)
