Aiguille du Midi - Hôtel & Restaurant

Great time staying here. Staff were lovely, enjoyed the Sauna twice. Sauna is a good temperature, unlike some hotels which have them a bit too cold. Table tennis and the bar were good, pool table has room for improvement. They even accommodated a small brekkie for us for our alpine starts on two days. Great views from the hotel.

Stayed here for a wedding at the hotel this weekend.. the whole experience was amazing! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the food was great, the setting is beautiful and the hotel just delivers on every front. Would totally recommend!

The staff at Hotel Aiguilles du Midi are exceptional. Very friendly, accommodating and work hard to make your stay a great one. We loved the hotel it was charming and unique with great views of Mont Blanc and the glacier. Situated just outside Chamonix the hotel provided the best of both worlds, access to the city and the peacefulness of country living. The food at the restaurant is great and the dessert buffet is outstanding. They serve buffet breakfast, lunch with the opion of a packed lunch and dinner. We would highly recommend staying at the Hotel Aiguilles du Midi.

Great service, nice staff, cleaning rooms every day and I also got extra pillows because I'm pregnant. Pool area was clean and a lot of sun chairs to relax in. Didn't use jacuzzi but it looked ok. |Breakfast was nice with all the cheeses and fruktsallad with yoghurt. Not in city of Chamonix but buss and train goes right outside. Recommend!

Absolutely stunning! The staff feels like family and our server Ernest was so sweet. I have had multiple lunches here, played tennis, and enjoyed the pool. We even did a yoga in the garden. Favorite place to relax :)

Highly recommended. Comfortable room with stunning view of THE Aiguille du Midi. Fabulous food in the restaurant. Good choice for breakfast options. Convenient for easy access to Chamonix using bus or train for a short ride.

The Perfect Base Camp for UTMB and a Chamonix Stay After an extensive search for the right place to stay for my UTMB race, I chose the Aiguille du Midi hotel, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. We got in late without having eaten, and the staff kindly prepared a simple but delicious plate of ham, cheese, and vegetables for us—a gesture we truly appreciated. The highlight was waking up on our first morning, drawing the curtains, and being greeted by a breathtaking, panoramic view of the Mont Blanc massif. We booked a superior room, and it was worth it for the extra space and that unforgettable vista. The breakfast buffet is incredible value and a must-have. For nearly the same price as a coffee and pastry in town, you get a vast spread including coffee, cereals, yogurt, fresh crepes, juices, bread, cheeses, eggs, and cold cuts. We started every day fully fueled. The hotel grounds are fantastic, featuring a large swimming pool, a tennis court, and plenty of green space to relax or wander. It’s a great environment for both families and pets. Location-wise, it's very convenient. The hotel is just 120-150from two bus stops and 150m from the Les Bossons train station. A major perk is the free train pass to Chamonix provided by the hotel, though the scenic 3km walk into town is also a great option for exercise. Although we didn't eat lunch/dinner at the hotel, it's great to know they're available. Note that while there's no water in the room, complimentary water is provided in the restaurant downstairs. Also laundry services are available for about 10euros (washing and drying) but I saw I sign in the laundry room that reads 8euros. Maybe they increased the price😉 I wouldn't hesitate to return and highly recommend the Aiguille du Midi to anyone visiting the area. * During the UTMB event every hotel tend to be more expensive. Make sure you book in advance.

Lovely hotel in a stunning location. Family run, with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food, with a particularly generous breakfast, cheese, and desert selection. Rooms are a bit basic but charming, and the bathrooms have been modernized throughout. Close to train and bus connections making it easy to get anywhere you want in the valley.
