A beautiful oasis in the heart of Tokyo. I was looking for a spot that offered a quick yet satisfying vegan brunch, and this place exceeded my expectations. The pancakes, salad, and ice cream were all delicious, and the calming music and serene atmosphere provided a much-needed break from the city’s crowds and noise. Even though we only stayed for 30 minutes, it felt like a refreshing escape. Highly recommended for anyone craving tasty vegan food in a peaceful setting.

Google
The fluffy pancakes were HEAVENLY. So glad i was able to find a vegan version. Food was so fresh and beautifully presented. Each bite was so flavorful and the dishes were well balanced. the atmosphere was quiet and calm. Definitely a top food highlight of my trip!

Google
Great place to experience a wide variety of Japanese vegan food. Very tasty and met some great company here who gave me some superb advice about places to eat in Tokyo. Thanks Marcus you were a huge help!

Google
Located at ginza its a 3 storey building which is easily accessible. They serve really healthy food, be sure to make a reservation so you don't have to wait as their seats are quickly filled after opening ! We ordered their bento sets, though food is abit bland but still good. The restaurant is pretty tight, but they provide a lift inside so you dont have to walk all the way to the 3rd floor.

Loved the food, all the options available. Atmosphere was great. Had like a platter and pancakes, everything was so yumi. You have to go!

Wow! I had an amazing bento box lunch. So nice to find a delicious gluten-free option (and vegan) in Tokyo.

I expected more from this place seeing good reviews, but unfortunately my experience was not the best. Vegan pancakes are nowhere near pancakes, they were alright, but the taste and texture is more like scones or cookies. When waitress was taking the order she asked if we want everything served together and we confirmed, but the food was coming at different times. My partner got his "pancakes" and I had mine after he finished his meal. We waited more than an hour for our order when the place is tiny. My partner ordered bento box as well, and the staff forgot about this order. We did not even received any discount for their mistake. Overall, waiting time was long and it is well overpriced for this service and the quality of food! Not recommending.

Google
This was the biggest joke. The food was pretty expensive and incredibly bland. I asked myself what I did in life to deserve such a bad experience. First course- dry salad Second course- small bowl of soup. Literally did a double take when I saw the portion Third course- a burrito wrapped in PLASTIC. LIKELY PULLED OUT OF THE FRIDGE RIGHT BEFORE SERVING. There was also a little cake thing with store bought ketchup on top, and store bought tortilla chips on the side with 0 sauce. Dessert was three tiny coin-sized cookies. Literally. I’m still hungry. Portions were small. There were also these super oily chicken nugget things with the dinner plate. I’m from NYC so maybe I have higher food standards, but I have had meals where there is not just flavor, but genuine love and care put into the food. Better restaurants with vegan options in Tokyo- - Asakusa Taiyaki - Fruit Sando spot near Senso-ji temple - Pink Cow

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and fantastic food! The Bento box had great variety and all the foods tasted great. Gluten free and vegetarian heaven! First restaurant I visited in Japan and it sets the bar high for all the rest.

Yelp
A mixed experience. While visiting Tokyo we wanted a special meal, something out of the ordinary, and we decided to try Ain Soph. One thing to note is that a reservation is highly recommended. This restaurant offers multiple course meals, ranging from about 5000-8000 yen. Well ordered two different meals during our visit, and even though the food was good, none of the dishes was truly outstanding, and when combined with the price, make it a tough sell. It is important to highlight that the environment is great, perfect for a date, or a meal with friends. Additionally, this restaurant is vegan. If you are looking for a different vegan experience Ain Soph is a good option, but you will have to pay for it.

Yelp
Overall 3.5. We two had lunch. SERVICE: 4.5. Excellent. AMBIANCE: 4.0. Wood floor with concrete walls. View of large street from the small 3F dining room. Pleasant slow jazz background music. FOOD: 3.0.Nicely presented. Taste was a bit below expectations after having dining at another Tokyo vegan restaurant. - Lasagna with green salad: 2.5 for the lasagna which was rather bland; 4.5 for the salad. - 福禄寿Bento:3.0. Plenty of quantity with beautiful presentation. Brown rice excellent.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant that I went to in all of Japan for the week of vacation. The lunch bento serving sizes were big and each of the dishes were delicately aranged to complement each other. Each dish was unique and especially delicious. I wish I lived in Tokyo so I could come back because this meal was beyond memorable! To end the meal I got the tiramisu jar, it wasn't too sweet but just right in terms of sweetness. It was the perfect end to the meal. Ambiance: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Service: 5/5

Yelp
Racist towards black people. The young lady on the Wednesday 6 pm shift was giving me such a bad attitude for no apparent reason. She was looking at me like she wanted me to die. There were 2 other customers both of which were white (2 white ladies). She treated them with such kindness and with all smilsa, but was treating me, a black man, with such contempt. I really like the pastries there, but I am never want to go back due to the treatment that I received there.

Yelp
I went to Ain Soph Ginza with some with my coworkers and found that this location is more fancy/formal than other Ain Soph locations, which was just fine, but something nice to know in advance. I'd highly recommend you make a booking to ensure you get a table. If I recall correctly, we were only given the option of a set menu, which came with a nice salad (with watermelon radish, tomatoes, and cauliflower), a delicious creamy soup, and a bento box of 9 items (some items included fried fake chicken, mushrooms, a tofu cake, a cabbage salad, pickled celery, etc.). Dessert included a delicious cheesecake, vanilla ice cream, and raspberry compote. Overall, the food was nicely presented. I preferred the soup and salad, with the bento box being my least favorite of them all. It's a nice place to go if you love bento boxes or are interested in trying them.

Yelp
Our friends from Tokyo wanted to take is to a vegan restaurant since previously they had taken us to an amazing soba restaurant in their neighborhood. Apparently only this location in the Ginza has bento boxes so we had to journey from far away Shinjuku (kidding...only about 15 min by train). First, the restaurant is actually upstairs from the tiny shop on the street level. I think there are 3 floors but I didn't venture past the 2nd floor. There was room for about 5 2-tops. We we're 4 people so the mushed 2 tables together. So you can order either just the bento box or multiple courses with the bento box. We got a salad and the bento boxes. As has been typical of all the food in Japan so far, the salad was fresh and delicious. Not a single wilted leaf in sight. The bento boxes arrived next and they were a beautiful mosaic of colors. The food was great. A couple of dishes were a little lackluster like the hummus. But otherwise, a terrific sampler of so many flavors. After we finished, our friends were still hungry, while I was stuffed. So they ordered the cheese fondue. Unlike in the US, all of their dairy replacements are soy-based. And somehow, they got the soy cheese to melt and be creamy like actual fondue. Pretty amazing. Everyone loved it. Did it taste like fondue? Yes and no. It didn't have the tang of the cheese or the boozy alcohol flavor of authentic fondue. But it was creamy, cheesy-tasting and delicious. Vegans rejoice! So it is definitely worth a stop if you're in the mood for some great vegan food. It may not have been a traditional Japanese experience, it was definitely a vegan Japanese experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Yelp
Very good vegan food close to the Kabuki theater in Tokyo. It's a little hard to find, but the Bento meal is both visually and tastewise amazing. Make sure you have cash as they don't accept credit cards.

Yelp
Amazing and authentic Japanese food. I am vegetarian and have specific needs. The food comes in a picturesque setting and the service is impeccable. It feels more like an experience than anything else. This is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a quiet moment with healthy food that will not disappoint.

Yelp
This was really a treat, a vegan bento-box! The box is easy to share and we supplemented it with other great dishes. The dessert was amazing and the dinner. We were there for our anniversary and had a great time. The floors are small and we were the only ones there. Our waitress was really nice but barely spoke English. The menu was modern with tradition influences. The tastes were sometimes hard to identify but amazing. .

Yelp
Super upscale modern restaurant. Great for a date or business meal. Lovely ambiance with a view of the Ginza streets below. The food was delicious and unique. We tried many vegetables that we weren't familiar with, but the waitress patiently explained all of them to us. It was a little pricey but worth it. Go for the bento box meal so you can sample all the different dishes! Wish we had room for dessert because it looked so good!

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful food-- better vegan than anything I've had in years states. House organic white wine was crisp and dry, mojito refreshing and well blended. Delightful space and waitstaff, an overall excellent dining experience.
