AIRA Boutique Hanoi Hotel & Spa

This wonderful hotel looks quite unassuming from the pavement but it is a total gem! The rooms, bar, restaurant and reception have been very stylishly renovated. The staff are simply lovely. The breakfast buffet caters to Western and local tastes with an egg station, French toast, pancakes etc etc. we spent a couple of evenings on the rooftop bar enjoying cocktails and local beers plus really tasty freshly made bar food. On arrival we were given a voucher for a free drink! The hotel even has a decent gym with treadmills, bikes and free weights. Plus a small swimming pool - the pool is outdoor but covered. Location is perfect - five minutes walk to train street, 15 minutes to the old quarter or to the temple of literature.

OMG such a beautiful hotel, and the staff were amazing! So sweet and accommodating… and the location just around from Train Street is just perfect as you’re not in the super busy centre but just a 5-minute walk and we loved that. They have a lovely roof top terrace where we had a drink before or after dinner (we stayed 5 nights in total), with a beautiful sunset, great entourage, good music and lovely staff. Breakfast buffet on the 7th floor is all that you want, and your egg dish or pancakes can be ordered on the spot, so freshly made for you. We had three different room types (as we kept coming back here after trips) and all the rooms were so nicely decorated, and spacious, and the beds were perfect to our liking - not too hard, not too soft. Great place!

Highly recommended – a well-rounded stay We were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide selection of fresh fruit, both local and international dishes, and the option to order freshly prepared meals. The coffee was particularly good. Dinner at the restaurant was also a highlight. As vegetarians, we appreciated having more than ten dishes to choose from. The room was spacious, very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The pool area is well maintained and a pleasant place to relax. The view from the hotel is also worth mentioning. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage after check-out, and even had the chance to take a shower before heading to the airport in the evening – which was very convenient. Overall: A great experience with a strong price-performance ratio. We’d gladly stay here again.

We are an Aussie family of four (2 adults, 2 kids 11 and 15) and we loved our 3-night stay at the Aira in Hanoi! The hotel is located just on the edge of the old town, around 200m to train street and within walking distance to all of the main attractions/markets/shopping. Super quiet as it's away from all of the nightlife, but close enough to walk or 'Grab' anywhere easily. We had two rooms side-by-side, one with a king bed and one with two singles. Beautiful French colonial-inspired decor, comfy beds, super clean, gorgeous bathrooms. Sensational air conditioning, and free top up of the mini bar (water and coke) every day. The staff are wonderful and the breakfast buffet is large and absolutely delicious! There is a gorgeous pool overlooking the street from a high floor, with stunning views across the city. Amazing value for such a beautiful little hotel in the most perfect location. Highly recommend!

Very nice, beautiful hotel with pool and rooftop bar. The location was great, and we where in walking distance to most of the city’s attractions.|We had the opportunity to use the pool and bath in the spa after our check-out, which was very appreciated. Tom, in the reception, gave a great service, and in the general the staff was very helpful and attentive. Overall a very good experience.

We kinda randomly found this hotel but it turned out to be amazing. Location is a big plus, cause it's just by the old quarter but at least our room was very quiet compared to what you would normally get inside old quarter. It feels really luxurious, and a highlight is the bed and pillows, they're perfect. Service is seamless, they are more than willing to help with everything, special thanks to Tony!

We booked a cheaper room and were given a free upgrade upon arrival. We were also given drinks vouchers for the bar upstairs which made us feel welcome. When we arrived, staff members came out to the taxi to help us with our belongings and carried the prams up the little steps at the entrance of the hotel which was incredibly kind. We handed our passports over and were given a refreshing beverage each while we sat in the lounge waiting on check-in. They let us check in very early as they had a room available for us which we were thankful for after a long flight with two babies. The pool is small but lovely. The room was great and had a tiny balcony for people-watching. The hotel itself is a 5 minute walk from train street and therefore an excellent location for visiting Hanoi. Staff members were unbelievably helpful when we asked for information or needed a taxi. 10/10, would recommend.
