Aira Boutique Hanoi Hotel & Spa (Hanoi, Vietnam) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"On leafy Trần Phú Street, just west of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, AIRA Boutique offers a calm, design-conscious escape from the city’s intensity. Each of its 60 rooms and suites is thoughtfully detailed, with bold tones, modern bathrooms, and a handful of connecting options for families. The rooftop bar and infinity pool take in wide city views, while a spa, gym, and in-house tailor add to the hotel’s well-rounded appeal. It is well placed for cultural landmarks, lakeside strolls, and some of Hanoi’s best street food." - Tablet Hotels

The people at the reception really take great care of you. They planned our trips to Sapa and Ha Long Bay. Which were both fantastic. We came back after each of those trips (with a night at another location) and each time we got a bigger room. The hotel looks great. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is perfect. And located close to the famous train track. We really enjoyed our stay here.

This wonderful hotel looks quite unassuming from the pavement but it is a total gem! The rooms, bar, restaurant and reception have been very stylishly renovated. The staff are simply lovely. The breakfast buffet caters to Western and local tastes with an egg station, French toast, pancakes etc etc. we spent a couple of evenings on the rooftop bar enjoying cocktails and local beers plus really tasty freshly made bar food. On arrival we were given a voucher for a free drink! The hotel even has a decent gym with treadmills, bikes and free weights. Plus a small swimming pool - the pool is outdoor but covered. Location is perfect - five minutes walk to train street, 15 minutes to the old quarter or to the temple of literature.

Spent our first 3 nights in Vietnam here. Rooms are great, really clean and comfortable and the location is a perfect base to explore from, we walked almost everywhere. Rooftop pool and small gym area a nice touch and perfectly kept. Breakfast very nice. The cherry on top though was the staff, all of whom were so friendly and caring - it was our son’s 17th birthday while we were there and they gave him a cake even though we hadn’t mentioned it! Also one of us was unwell during our visit and they went out of their way to make sure he was cared for and allowed an extra night’s stay with no fuss. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended – a well-rounded stay We were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide selection of fresh fruit, both local and international dishes, and the option to order freshly prepared meals. The coffee was particularly good. Dinner at the restaurant was also a highlight. As vegetarians, we appreciated having more than ten dishes to choose from. The room was spacious, very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The pool area is well maintained and a pleasant place to relax. The view from the hotel is also worth mentioning. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage after check-out, and even had the chance to take a shower before heading to the airport in the evening – which was very convenient. Overall: A great experience with a strong price-performance ratio. We’d gladly stay here again.

We are an Aussie family of four (2 adults, 2 kids 11 and 15) and we loved our 3-night stay at the Aira in Hanoi! The hotel is located just on the edge of the old town, around 200m to train street and within walking distance to all of the main attractions/markets/shopping. Super quiet as it's away from all of the nightlife, but close enough to walk or 'Grab' anywhere easily. We had two rooms side-by-side, one with a king bed and one with two singles. Beautiful French colonial-inspired decor, comfy beds, super clean, gorgeous bathrooms. Sensational air conditioning, and free top up of the mini bar (water and coke) every day. The staff are wonderful and the breakfast buffet is large and absolutely delicious! There is a gorgeous pool overlooking the street from a high floor, with stunning views across the city. Amazing value for such a beautiful little hotel in the most perfect location. Highly recommend!

It was definitely an experience we won’t forget. The staff and the hospitality was excellent!! ||Our stay was during my birthday. My boyfriend and the team of Aira Boutique Hotel arranged a birthday cake and song for me in the room. It was so friendly and sweet. ||The room was amazing as well. Super clean, beautiful and the bed was huge. We loved it.

Great hotel, central location. Very close to train Street, lots of restaurants. The staff were amazingly helpful. We were there for my birthday and were greeted at the door with a birthday cake and a happy birthday song from the staff. Would highly recommend this hotel. The rooftop bar and restaurant were great.

Mixed experience with this hotel. First the good things: the location is great, right in between old town and central government buildings, museums etc., the staff are helpful and friendly, there’s a nice bar on the rooftop and a lovely spa too, there’s even a guide of some good restaurants nearby. The not so good: the room we were given had one tiny window (unlike the room pictures on Trip.com) and felt very dark, so we chose to downgrade ourselves to a smaller room with windows on two sides for more light. The walls of the rooms were thin, so we were kept up very late by chatter next door one night then woken up by a screaming child early next morning - not the hotel’s fault, but to be aware. The rooms weren’t that clean (hair hanging off the shower head etc). We were also ridiculously overcharged for a room service item, the staff were very nice and removed it from the bill when we queried, and offered us free breakfast to make up for it, but the breakfast was distinctly not as good (less variety, less fresh, Vietnamese coffee charged extra) as the one we’d had at a similarly priced Saigon hotel the previous days.
