Aireys Inlet Getaway - Self Contained Villas with pool and tennis court

Fabulous location. Very well connected to public transport, the general store, the shops and restaurants ,the lighthouse (which also has a cafe) and various walks from the area. The room was amazing! Had an electric heating and fire place, bathroom with bathtub, all the amenities with the kitchen. Check in and out was self service on the weekend which worked well. The place overall had a really nice tennis court, bbq and small pool area.

We arrived at 3pm after check in to a dirty, unclean villa room from the previous users. Old towels were dumped in the bath- absolutely disgusting. We attempted to contact the office via phone and text with no response, hence we took it upon ourselves to strip the bed and wash the sheets and towels. At 7:30pm we finally received a message from the office stating to move to move to another villa. We were appalled it took this long. No further explanation or compensation was given. Absolutely disgraceful. We will never be returning.

Avoid. It seems it is simple to make a booking online, but you cannot contact anybody if a problem arises. Trying to follow the cancellation policy (14 days for a studio) for a booking In September. We had to pay the $1100 booking cost upfront. After a week, still no answer on the main contact phone number from the website, calls just go to voicemail telling you the staffed hours, which are the hours I am calling in! Leaving a message gets no response. Multiple emails have had no response. Calling the mobile number gets answered by people who say they can’t handle these queries so they will pass on the details for somebody to contact us back, but does not happen. I am about to contact my bank to claim the payment as fraudulent as it’s the only way I can get my $1100 deposit returned.

Highly recommended! We stayed in Villa 4 and were very pleased with both the quality of the villa resort. The Villa itself was spacious, clean and well maintained. All the basics required for our stay were provided.. The resort was also well maintained, and we were particularly impressed with the landscaping, clearly a lot of love and care has gone into developing and maintaining the native horticulture.

Just spent a lovely weekend here and I'll definitely go back. This resort has modern loft cabins including fireplace, full kitchens, bathroom with spa and all the comforts of home. Great for a weekend but has all the amenities such as pool, tennis courts and bbq areas for longer stays. The owner is really lovely and keeps her office open all day if you'd like to grab a vhs (yep, but you also have a dvd player in your loft as well) or some birdseed to feed the friendly cockatoos and parakeets that will visit your patio. It's charming, private and you can hear the roar of the ocean at night. Magical!
