We booked this venue for Business Trip. Looking at the website, we knew that it would not be 5 star but it did look somewhat comfortable. This is not a motel, it is a backpackers hostel. There is no mention of this on the venues web page. . There was no iron in the room, the air con did not work, the bed left our staff member feeling itchy after just sitting on it. When he called the number for the venue there was no answer so he walked out and booked himself into another hotel. I contacted the venue first thing on Monday morning to advise them and requested a refund and was blatantly told NO. I had to send them multiple emails requesting a refund (We had paid for 4 nights and was seeking a refund for 2), the did not respond until I mentioned that I would be taking the matter further. I was then told that they would refund the charges for the 2 nights into our Business Account. They have only refunded the charge for 1 night so now I am left having to chase them again! You cannot contact them via their web page as it displays an error, the whole website does not work properly and there are errors popping up whenever you click on a tab ie: things to do, book now etc. This hotel does not know the meaning of customer service and does not respond to enquiries promptly.
