Airlie Beach Waterfront Accommodation

Huge hostel with lots of room options. There are few restaurants and coffee shops inside on the second floor, which is very comfortable. I stayed in the 13 dorm room, that was a long room with two entrance. The room was clean enough. There is a big kitchen with few fridges, oven and the personal is very strict regarding the hygiene on the kitchen. When I stayed the internet did not work for few days. I had to use free internet in McDonalds. ||During the night lots of guys sit on the balcony till late and all conversations penetrate into the room.

A 15/20 minute walk from the Greyhound drop off, when you arrive you'll be forgiven for thinking you have walking into a semi disused shopping centre. staff are very helpful and show us what Airlie has to offer. seems like a maze of endless corners and stairs to find the room, however is has a very cool, although slightly empty feel. we didn't really meet many other people staying. amazing views over the beach from the kitchen and balconies. safe and cheap storage if you are going on a Whitsundays tour. Massive cheap launderette on the ground floor. Very good air con, I woke up in the night having woken up in what seemed like arctic conditions (can be controlled in individual rooms). Would recommend this hostel

Friendly staff. Be sure to ask for balcony, which doesn't look over the beach but other rooms very claustrophobic. Plenty of room in bedroom and walk in bathroom. Clean basic bit perfectly adequate for over night stay. Air conditioning and fan. Small fridge tea and coffee making facilities

Very nice hostel. Clean rooms and right across the street from the ocean. Close to all stores....grocery, clothing, etc. The people who run this place are very helpful. Robin helped me by letting me use his cell phone, helping me to get around and making sure I had a very nice room the night before I left. I have spoken to people who have stayed at Airlie Beach in other hotels and hostels. I think this one is the best!

Double Room with Balcony. ||Very basic accommodation which is reflected in the pricing. Was clean, everything worked, room was cool and quite. Location is central with underground parking. Check is a bit odd and can be hard to fine, saw a couple of people wandering around when we checked in, some better signage would help also the whole entry is looking a bit dirty and dodge. If you want a place to sleep of a night that is simple this is ideal. One side of the accommodation is backpacker dorms and the others are private rooms, we didnt have any problems with noise etc. Would be a great place when all the shops/restaurants are open again. Will be back if i need cheap accommodation for a short stay.

We stayed one night in an ensuite double. Not the warmest welcome but the room made up for it. Bed was clean and comfortable and the shared kitchen was tidy with plenty of pots / pans etc. The location is quiet but near everything you need. I'd certainly stay again.

We booked this venue for Business Trip. Looking at the website, we knew that it would not be 5 star but it did look somewhat comfortable. This is not a motel, it is a backpackers hostel. There is no mention of this on the venues web page. . There was no iron in the room, the air con did not work, the bed left our staff member feeling itchy after just sitting on it. When he called the number for the venue there was no answer so he walked out and booked himself into another hotel. I contacted the venue first thing on Monday morning to advise them and requested a refund and was blatantly told NO. I had to send them multiple emails requesting a refund (We had paid for 4 nights and was seeking a refund for 2), the did not respond until I mentioned that I would be taking the matter further. I was then told that they would refund the charges for the 2 nights into our Business Account. They have only refunded the charge for 1 night so now I am left having to chase them again! You cannot contact them via their web page as it displays an error, the whole website does not work properly and there are errors popping up whenever you click on a tab ie: things to do, book now etc. This hotel does not know the meaning of customer service and does not respond to enquiries promptly.

the staff was incredibly rude after an incident that was completely out of our control. we were told we had THREE minutes to pack or she would call the police. when my friend asked for more time she told us “you need to go while you can still walk” (threatening us). we were also denied our money back after we didnt complete our stay. we also returned to grab some stuff that was left behind as we had minimal time to pack, to find that they threw out our possessions. absolutely disgusting staff and would never recommend the dump to anyone. also, the “secure parking” they specify on the site is underground, smells like a sewer and literally anyone can walk in at anytime. definitely NOT secure.
