Airline Inn Taichung Green Park Way

The hotel is located at the central part of Taichung. It's clean and the staffs are courteous. The breakfast buffet spread is good. The only downside is the mattress is a bit soft to us (hardness is about 7/10). And the price to us is reasonable.

A variety of food options for breakfast. Great for picky eaters especially kids. The staff is also attentive, they noted my father’s birthday and prepared a surprise even though we didn’t mentioned about it. Location is great! With sogo and another mall nearby and small eateries that opened till late for supper.

Wonderful hotel, great for families with children. It is conveniently located in Taichung, near SOGO, right next to Watson’s, near bus stations, and many other shops, cafes, and restaurants. I highly recommend for their great guest service at the front desk and the friendly housekeeping team. The breakfast is delicious, and there is a wide variety of western and Asian dishes. Affordable for families, I definitely recommend staying here. I do have a few suggestions though, mainly getting new carpets and towels. While the carpets did not smell and the towels were still fully functional, it would be nice if the carpets looked cleaner and the towels were fluffy and didn’t have hanging threads. The other guests staying were pretty polite and quiet overall, but I did notice the noise from the streets was noticeable during the day.

Big room with kind staffs with great locations in reasonable price. Was quite great to stay. Breakfast was quite clean and tasty. One take bus both from Airport and Highspeed rail Taichung

The room is spacious and location is great. But the housekeeping staff put my pajama somewhere I don’t think it got cleaned frequently after making up the room. This makes me feel uncomfortable.

Located in an extremely convenient area, close to many great restaurants and extremely walkable to places of interest. Service is impeccable. Staff were extremely attentive and helpful during our weeklong stay here. Daily housekeeping was also completed to high standards while we were away. The daily breakfast was good, variety was slightly small and most of the main dishes were repeated daily like the porridge, buns, fruits, cereals and bakery items. No complaints there though. FYI, the rooms are huge. Overall this was a good place to stay and I’d highly recommend choosing this location when visiting Taichung.

Not a good value! Stayed three night at this hotel. This dated hotel has no personal characteristic of a Hotel, more like a convention  center that have large plain rooms. Pros:good location, large room, attentive staff Cons: Poor breakfast, if you need a western style food, you will find almost nothing to eat. Musty/stale smell in room.  Old discolored carpet with stains. We had to move rooms on first night due to water from shower entering the room's  carpet. On second day they fumigate our room WHILE WE HAD ALL OUR CLOTHS AND SOME OPEN SNACKS  SPREAD OUT. We did not want to cause a scene, however, since the fumigation we experienced throat irritation. I was telling the front desk that fumigate an occupied room can be hazardous. They just replied "sorry, sorry "

Very clean and awesome services provided. The hotel even provided the free parking at the basement. Stayed 6 days and they provide the different breakfasts everyday with plenty of selections available. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this hotel! Very spacious and great service here. ROOM: we stayed in one room with 2 beds and it's very comfy. AC provided. Three stands (one on the ends of the bed & one in between) each have a battery port. There's a huge TV in the middle of the room. There are two types of rooms, one that is a decent size and one that has a balcony at the end of the room. BATHROOM: this room was a decent size but had a HUGE bathroom (see pano pic). There's a shower and a big bathtub. There are dispensers for your necessary body/hair wash needs. Hairdryer provided. They also have a cute care package for bathroom needs: toothbrush/toothpaste & razor, floss, and q-tips. BREAKFAST: probably the worst part of the hotel. Wasn't that good. It is buffet style and they have porridge, lunch-ish stuff and waffles. But the taste was blandish and is not a good representation of Taiwans delicious actual breakfast. But I mean it's free, or comes with the room so I would still recommend eating it. SERVICE: great service! Use the phone, dial "9" to ask the front desk any questions or to provide you with any extra towels or other necessities you need. They also provide water bottles for us so we didn't really need to buy anything else, but there are 7-Elevens & Family Marts everywhere. Each night was 150 and we stayed for 2 nights so overall pretty good experience.

Great location with lots of shops and restaurants around. The hotel room is quite large for a room in Asia. We booked the double room and ended up with a superior double room! The bathroom was the size of a room itself! All toiletries and slippers are provided. They provide you a travel buddy phone that is free as well that has data, gps and phone! There is also complimentary breakfasts. A decent selection for free breakfast. The staffs are super helpful and are able to speak fluent English. Will definitely come here again!

I have stayed at the Airline Inn on three trips to Taiwan the most recent in May of 2019. The location is excellent. I have previously stayed at two other hotels at this same corner and although all were excellent I am most pleased with the Airline Inn. The staff are courteous and helpful. I'm sure there are thousands of people in and out of this hotel over the year but some of the staff actually remember me from my previous visits. The rooms a spacious and comfortable. The free breakfast is quite good. The free phones for use while using the hotel are fabulous. My phone and tablet can only access the internet when I am in the room but with the hotel phone I have use throughout the city and likely the entire country. The Airline Inn is also very reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Taichung.
