Advantages are location, parking, and the cool atmosphere. The quality of food is good and the chef is talented. The interiors need makeover. The hotel has kept the same look and decoration. But the service and the accommodation are both great. The hotel is worth a weekend stay in Bangalore to experience a peaceful boutique property in such a chaotic city.

Had an incredible dinner here last night! The ambiance was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We ordered the signature steak and the truffle pasta, both seasoned perfectly and served hot. A huge shoutout to our server, Sarah, who was attentive without being overbearing. It’s rare to find a spot where the food, service, and decor all hit a 10/10. Definitely my new favorite local gem. Highly recommend the lemon tart for dessert!

For a legacy hotel that I have been visiting for over 6 years now, my disappointment in how this place has deteriorated over the years is significant. The waiters and the lack of systems are appalling for the crowd they get. The waiters are rude, arrogant, and works as if they’re going the customers a favour. The seating system (or lack there of) is TERRRIBLE. A problem that can be solved with assigning each table a number and having an admin person handle this. Easy fix. We have waited for a table for an hour (hanging over the head of customers who are at present eating just so that we can snatch that seat after them is just ridiculous.) and the waiter had the audacity to say that they wanted to join the table to another for a larger group- no heads up, no prior communication. We had been waiting in that spot for an hour. Unless the management fixes all these issues, this place is really not worth fixing now. And for the price, the food definitely is not worth it.

Tried this old authentic Bengaluru hotel after so long loong time. Dose was at its best. Buns is a must try. Sambar was the best. Chutney was okayish. Paid parking is also available. Drive in is also available. Price for location of the hotel not the food. Worst was the service. Waiters are rude in nature. Coffee was to be better . Kesaribath was awesome too. If you are coming in private cars just park in Langford road and airlines is in walkable distance. Weekends will be crowded. I liked their warm water with jeera and some extra spice. Waiters expect a minimum tip of 100/-. If we are happy with their service then we can or else it's vice versa. Ample outside and inside sitting is also available.

The ambience of the place was quite nice and pleasant, which made the visit comfortable. The dosa was average, and the chole bhature was okay—not bad, but nothing very memorable. I felt the pricing was on the higher side compared to the overall taste and portion size, so it didn’t feel like great value for money. Overall, it’s a decent place for the ambience, but the food could be improved to match the price.

The ever 'Old Bangalore Feel' resturant. A rustic experience in the heart of the city, retaining it's original origin. The amazing aroma & taste of the filter coffee served in a regular glass. The Corner house right nextdoor, to self indulge in some exotic luxury of ice creams. One can never get tired of visiting this good ol"' Airlines Hotel.

Stepped into Airlines Hotel for some post-cycling fuel. While the outdoor garden setting under the massive banyan trees is absolutely iconic and nostalgic, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The food-especially the Masala Dosa and Jalebi—is decent, but honestly, it felt quite overpriced for a basic breakfast. It feels like you’re paying more for the 'viral' hype and the seating than the actual meal. If you want a more authentic and budget-friendly Dosa in Bangalore, there are better local joints, but come here if you're purely after the old-school vibes.
