A Delightful Evening at Airlines Hotel, Ashok Nagar Airlines Hotel in Ashok Nagar, Bengaluru, is a charming retreat right in the heart of the city, and it truly comes alive in the evening. Set amidst a canopy of old trees, the open-air dining area offers a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle. The ambience is effortlessly nostalgic — simple yet serene, with the gentle hum of conversations and the aroma of fresh South Indian food wafting through the air. Dining here in the evening is a wonderful experience. The soft lighting and natural surroundings create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family, or even a quiet solo dinner with a book. The service is friendly and unpretentious, and the menu stays true to its roots, offering consistently delicious South Indian fare. Their dosas and filter coffee are must-tries — flavorful, authentic, and served hot. Airlines Hotel is one of those rare places where time seems to slow down. Whether you're a local or a visitor, its timeless charm and relaxing ambience make it a perfect evening dining spot in Bengaluru.

This is definitely a must try restaurant in Bangalore. 1) Only veg food is served 2) The atmosphere is really great where you are surrounded by the trees 3) you get amazing parking space 4) Often you will find some events happening there But! 1) The waiters / Servers are extremely unprofessional and impatient with zero understanding of hospitality. 2) The waiters will not come to you if you call them. They will say the waiter will come. I mean then who are you ? 3) They smile only when they give the bill and almost force you for a tip.

Extremely disappointing experience despite the hype. The food may be good, but the overall customer service is terrible. There seems to be zero management or coordination. The wait to get a table is long, and even when large tables are available, there’s no concept of table sharing to accommodate more guests efficiently. Once you’re finally seated, the service doesn’t improve — no one comes to take your order unless you call them multiple times. Staff members seem disinterested and carry an attitude, likely due to the restaurant’s popularity. Prices are on the higher side compared to similar places, but the service doesn’t justify it at all. Overall, very poor service. Not worth the time or money.

One of the old times restaurant which provides nostalgic memories of old Bangalore. It serves variety of menus. Their dosa and coffee are simply the best!! It has outdoor dining under the banyan tree. It has good parking space.

The food is decent and the outdoor sitting is very nice. The waiters never listen to you. I never took out time to gv a review in general but the experience is pathetic . Rs.184/- for a masala dosa is not costly, its looting people. 2 masala dosas, 2 coffee and a chow chow bath for Rs.678/-? Seriously? Strategically there will be no menu. they just say it out. People say rameshwaram cafe is over ratted, Now i feel Airlines hotel is much more overrated. What are we paying the price for? Food? Arrogance or thr waiters? Outdoor setting with years old furniture?

We didn't stay here but came for breakfast (idly, dosa, coffee). Seating under the banyan tree is lovely. Service took time to come to us, but food came promptly after. Price a bit on the higher side, considering the food (good, but nothing unusual) and ambience (beautiful, but kinda old and a little rickety tables and chairs).

It was good before when we used to visit this place most of the time during college. Now it's just clutter, no waiter listens to you, no one attends you properly, but they want tips, you will get food after 20-30min, so beautiful ready to wait. I think I won't be visiting this place anymore.

Extremely disappointed with the experience. A place I once loved has now lost its charm — both in terms of food quality and service. First, the food was served undercooked, and after raising a concern, it came back burnt. The staff lacked basic courtesy and professionalism. Sadly, won’t be returning.
