Edit: don’t show up on a Tuesday afternoon because the pro shop will be closed apparently Can’t get anyone to answer a phone call. Secretary will just end the call so you can’t even leave a message. No information about driving range on website. Shame this is one of the only options for a golf course in Cheyenne, I guess since that’s the case they don’t bother with customer service

Update: Here are the pros and cons of this golf course. Pros: The course is in pristine condition. The clubhouse is quite nice for a Muni. The food is good and the bar is fun. The holes and greens are a heck of a lot of fun to play. The front nine features some very unique fairways that have you take clubs other than driver out on the tee box. The back nine are long and wide open. The greens look beautiful. Cons: The cons are unfortunately very frustrating. This course almost always overbooks tee times during the summer. You can nearly guarantee that play will always be backed up. You can show up twenty minutes early and you'll be rushed onto the tee box, they'll yell at you if you don't. You are not allowed to book tee times as an individual golfer. You will pay more for the cart than you will for the greens fees. I get the feeling that whoever manages the city golf courses here simply wants to make as much money as possible off of tee times, at the expense of the enjoyment of playing at this golf course.

I was told by the manager that since my membership ran out two weeks ago I would have to pay full price for drinks and food. The manager would not let me repurchase a card, so I payed full price and won't be back. Very bad customer service.

The food in the lounge is awesome, the course in its peak season is very well kept and beautiful. I absolutely love this place.

No food unless you join the airport club. Course is short on the front 9, longer on the back. Lots of trees to try and avoid. Greens in good shape. Fairways a little furry, but have had lots of rain lately.

The course is fun and definitely maintained and enjoyable. The staff though, rushed our group and was rude to us as playing customers who stopped by the bar for a quick lunch. We were already ahead of everybody else as well as no one in front or behind us. I say staff but it was really only 1 person. Hopefully you won't have that person servicing you. Other than that, food is good. Course is fun. Price is great.

If only the service were as decent as the course. Enjoyed the front 9 one day as that's all the time I had to play. Return a few days later to play the back 9 at 7:30am on a Thursday to an empty parking lot as a single and was told not only could I not play the back 9 but also wouldn't be able to get out for 2.5 hours. Also singles can't make tee times. Circus.

Yelp
This club should really be moved elsewhere. It's current location really makes it difficult getting in and out during busier times of day (and the year such as Frontier Days). It's a bit dated as well, and instead of simply renovating it; would be cheaper to tear down and rebuild elsewhere.

Yelp
The staff here was exemplary. They were welcoming and very helpful. I was visiting from our of town and the weather was not cooperating. They continued to let me return to try and get my round in but in then end my effort was in vain due to poor conditions. The fairways and greens were in great shape. I felt the course condition was a great value and the customer service was five star. Although I only actually saw the front nine. Thanks again Airport golf club for making an out of town guest to feel so welcome. Jeff Routt Lake St Louis, MO
