We drove up while visiting Denver just to check Wyoming off our list of states we've played golf in. Wasn't expecting much from this course, but boy were we pleasantly surprised. First let's talk about conditions. From tee to green, the course was amazing. There's plenty of interest in the layout, and it's no push over as far as scoring goes. There's a storm shelter on virtually every hole. You'll find clean bathrooms out on the course (at a level you'd expect from an expensive private course). Working soda vending machines also at these bathroom stations. We just had a blast playing here and I definitely recommend this course. Shout out to the young woman who was running the pro shop on Sunday (09/07/25). She also took care of the carts, was checking people in, answering phone calls, and everything in between all while smiling and being as friendly as can be. Owners listen up... hold on to her. A worker like that is one in a million.

We came here today and spent hundreds , after our son tragically passed away after a horrific ATV accident 2 weeks ago- wanting to relax and spend time with his best friends who are struggling with the loss as well . We made sure we never held anyone up and even skipped holes to make sure we are always out of the way . Unfortunately a teen on a power trip was extremely rude yelling over the microphone to break up and we were “Holding up the game “ we were almost 2 holes ahead . Followed by “ I don’t know what you’re saying and I don’t care we will check on you soon “ . As we continued even farther ahead we were then stocked by the manager creeping around who then approached and the harassment continued about the “ Allotted time frame for 18 holes. Even though the entire 2 holes before us were empty . This place is a joke and the staff needs to back off when we paid probably more than anyone and were never holding up anyone’s game at anytime . The girl on the microphone should be fired immediately and check herself in life . We just spent a week in the ICU and lost our son , all we wanted to do was have a little bit of fun with our sons friends not deal with drama , we’ve had enough of that. Don’t ever go here , don’t spend your money here they are not good people .

The food was not bad, but the little girl working the counter made the whole stop worth it. She was great. She made us both smile.

My daughter had lessons here with Mike. He was very knowledgeable and kind and got her going with the basics. Course was in great condition.

Nice course with a large variety of holes. Front nine is all course management, back nine a little.more geip-it-and-rip-it. An added plus when the Thunderbirds flew over.

Update: Here are the pros and cons of this golf course. Pros: The course is in pristine condition. The clubhouse is quite nice for a Muni. The food is good and the bar is fun. The holes and greens are a heck of a lot of fun to play. The front nine features some very unique fairways that have you take clubs other than driver out on the tee box. The back nine are long and wide open. The greens look beautiful. Cons: The cons are unfortunately very frustrating. This course almost always overbooks tee times during the summer. You can nearly guarantee that play will always be backed up. You can show up twenty minutes early and you'll be rushed onto the tee box, they'll yell at you if you don't. You are not allowed to book tee times as an individual golfer. You will pay more for the cart than you will for the greens fees. I get the feeling that whoever manages the city golf courses here simply wants to make as much money as possible off of tee times, at the expense of the enjoyment of playing at this golf course.

Great municipal golf course. Usually in top notch condition. Good food and bar

Yelp
This club should really be moved elsewhere. It's current location really makes it difficult getting in and out during busier times of day (and the year such as Frontier Days). It's a bit dated as well, and instead of simply renovating it; would be cheaper to tear down and rebuild elsewhere.

Yelp
The staff here was exemplary. They were welcoming and very helpful. I was visiting from our of town and the weather was not cooperating. They continued to let me return to try and get my round in but in then end my effort was in vain due to poor conditions. The fairways and greens were in great shape. I felt the course condition was a great value and the customer service was five star. Although I only actually saw the front nine. Thanks again Airport golf club for making an out of town guest to feel so welcome. Jeff Routt Lake St Louis, MO
