Airport Hotel Basel

Very basic hotel with great pretensions. Below average food both evening meal and especially breakfast. We asked for a 5:30 am call which did not materialise! This, for an airport hotel. Bed fine, room small, shower excellent. No tea or coffee in room, no fridge etc. very expensive for what we got.

Unbeatable location to and from the airport and a quick ride to the center. Unfortunately not too many shops or restaurants around. Nice rooms but I found the sheets a bit smelly and not super clean. However great hotel for the value

Location is great. Near airport and tram line. ||||Rooms are spacious and quite comfortable. ||||Exterior is kinda of gaudy and looks like a night club and check in common area is likewise weird. ||||Friendly check in staff. ||||Good for a night or two for sure.

Great hotel, well located with good links to the city and airport. Friendly staff made for a pleasant stay.

As it was the last minute arrangement, I found the staff very welcoming and friendly, trying to accommodate me at the last minute. The hotel is interestingly decorated, with radiant colours and interesting art pieces. Room was spacious, very clean, and the food was great. They have the arranged frequent shuttle service to the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel!

My husband and I stayed for one night at the airport hotel in Basel before embarking on our Rhine river cruise with Uniworld. On arrival, we were met by Dominik at the front desk. His personal service, kindness and professionalism were outstanding. He gave us wonderful tour advice, showed us how to use the public transport system and welcomed us back to the hotel with special cake! His service was world class - ‘a five star plus!’ experience.|Accommodation comfortable and clean. Excellent breakfast.

Good hotel when your flight is canceled last minute. Why : good shower and bed and very quiet. The room could be cleaner. The bus stop is next to the hotel and 5min away from the airport. The transport is free 👍🏼

Stayed for a Night with BA Holidays for a Night with the excellent Breakfast included.||Forget getting a Taxi or Transfer just hop on the 50 Bus at the Airport for a free 5 Minute journey to a stop within spitting distance of the Hotel. The same Bus carries on into Basel Centre. The Hotel has it's own service but that had finished by the time I landed.||Your Hotel Reservation is your ticket for free public transport until it is supplanted by the Basel Card issued by the Hotel on Check In. This card valid for the duration of your stay also provides substantial discounts on various attractions||Room was modern, a good size and excellent shower.||The Breakfast (Light from 4.30am) Buffet from 0600-1000 had a wonderful selection of hot and cold items catering for a diversity of tastes.||One of the drawbacks- although the room had a kettle there were no tea or coffee supplies or fridge.||Overall a wonderful mid-range establishment with easy access to the Airport and City Centre.
