I come here every time I’m in Lauterbrunnen. I love the space, and the coffee is good. It’s a perfect stop before continuing a walk. The service is lovely, and a must for me: it’s dog-friendly 🐶

Hands down! Homemade sweets hot chocolates and ice cream. One of my favorite places.

Stopped by at tea time to have a snack and rest after all the photo taking and walkong. Warm and welcoming, coffee and sandwiches were awesome, also had a bowl of the fried udon which was good. Enjoyed it so much, had two cups of coffee myself. Against the beautiful Lauterbrunnen backdrop, it was lovely and my family enjoyed it.

Nice sandwiches and pastries, but charges for tap water and no restroom for customers which was disappointing. I had the ham and cheese sandwich which came with homemade bread and was a generous portion. Expensive, but nothing out of the ordinary for such a touristy location.

A day in Lauterbrunnen, spending time walking around the village enjoying beautiful surrounding of waterfall and rivers, we stopped by here to grab a homemade chocolate croissant and hot drink (I had hazelnut hot chocolate). Full of chocolate but we didn't regret it at all because it was fresh, flaky croissant and the hot chocolate was soooooo good that even my husband who is a coffee person love it too. I would recommend having a quick bite here because the environment is great too. 😊

We stopped here for breakfast and the food was great! We enjoyed their scrambled eggs (which had a super hot red pepper on it 😋) and the ham and cheese toast with a fried egg on the side. Good breakfast spot. Great service! Our friends also got the carrot cake and enjoyed it.

The 'Messiest Sandwich of all time'. Ordered the scrambled eggs on Foccacia sandwich to go. What I received was a fried egg on foccacia with avocado absolutely pouring everywhere. You try to take one bite of the sandwich and your face and hands are covered in Avocado and egg yolk lol. On the plus side, the hot chocolate was good 😁

Brilliant service from the owner who was managing on his own because is wife was unwell. Efficient, friendly and very kind service. Excellent coffees and amazing pastries! Can’t recommend highly enough!

Hot chocolate with amaretto! What a delightful combination. Got mine to go and walked around the neighborhood. Sipped my hot boozy drink on the train too and loved every minute of it! Cashier thanked me for paying with cash. Try to support these smaller businesses by having cash on hand!

We stopped in on a rainy day for a coffee break. Not sure if we just received some off drinks, but our coffees were not good. We ordered a pretty basic latte and cappuccino, but both tasted and looked watered down. We barely made it through a third of our drinks. The cafe itself is pretty cute and warm temperature wise. There are hot and cold food offerings as well as beer.

This place is a good option if you don't want to be completely broke after your lunch or dinner. With Switzerland prices going above an beyond any limits, this place seems to be more affordable than the majority of places in Lauterbrunnen. One of the highlights are the pies that come for 8 CHF for an individual pie. The size of a single pie is not big, so it's better to combine it with a soup of the day that will cost another 8.50 CHF. The taxes are included in the price. The total of ~16 CHF might sound high for a trivial lunch but at the end of the day is a steal for Switzerland. The taste of the food was not amazing but still good for the price you pay. Among the down sides is self service (you have to go to the bar to order the food), cash only (they do accept Euros at the rate of 1 CHF = 1.1€ as of today), occasional long wait times and limited seating outside.

I walked in here off the street and what a surprise. The Airtime Breakfast 'Classic' was absolutely amazing. It had an amazing mix of flavors that you don't expect given its subtle look. You can get it with either alp cheese or bacon or both. I highly recommend just getting it with just the cheese. One important thing to note before you come here is that they only accept cash. "Any cash but only cash". There's an ATM across from the train station.

As a vegan, I was happy to find this place. (vegan options are slim pickings in the alps) I got the hummus, tofu, rhubarb sandwich and it was delicious. However, my experience was ruined by the extremely rude server working. It was cold outside and I wanted to sit inside. I showed him the US Covid vaccine card and he yells "I don't know what this is!". I started to explain it's the US vaccine card, showing him where it says Moderna etc and he cut me off mid-sentence and again just yells that he doesn't know what it is, so I had to sit outside. I had gone to countless other places in Europe and other restaurants in Switzerland where I had to show my vaccine proof and no one else had a problem with it, so a heads up to any American who comes here.I was shocked as someone who used to work in a restaurant how rude he was towards me.

Delicious vegan food, desserts, and lattes. Their bread is homemade a.nd exceptional, their flavors are amazing. I just wish my meal would have been constructed into a sandwich instead of being deconstructed.

Stop by before or after your staubbachfall hike. Good place for tea, coffee, meat pies, and your sweet tooth. Enjoy!

Lovely café right in Lauterbrunnen. Excellent coffee and tasty sandwiches with cold water out for you to help yourself. Free, high-speed WiFi was great. We visited here 3 times, and had sandwiches once. I loved my " classy meaty " sandwich, with ham, mustard, butter, and pickles served on perfectly baked homemade sourdough. Café airtime was our go-to while in the valley, and it should be yours too. :)

Really cute cafe in the heart of Lauterbrunnen! The decor is bright, welcoming, and trendy, with paper garlands and chalkboard calligraphy. I feel like they put a lot of effort in making the ambiance happy and welcoming. We stopped by Airtime before heading to the train station. After a morning of hiking through snow, sitting at Airtime and warming up with hot chocolate was lovely. (CHF 4.50 for regular) They also have a variety of food options that we didn't get to try.

Great food and coffee and more importantly a wonderful welcoming staff. Many good options for vegan, halal and kosher.

I went in for a simple brownie and had to wait 30 minutes until I was served. There was a tour in front of me so I understand that they would be busy, but by the time someone talked to me, the man in front of me had drank, eaten and had time to chat. I asked one waitress if I could please just grab a brownie quickly, she said no because she was busy, but continued to talk to the other waitress. The other waitress apologised, but still overall it took 40 minutes to be served a brownie...

The location of this place is gorgeous (of course) and it's so nice to be able to sit outside because of the great view. The coffee itself is good too. I stayed pretty basic with a chai latte. Another interesting thing about Airtime Cafe is that in the bathrooms there's a chalkboard that you can leave messages/ your name on. I'm sure they have to wipe it clean fairly often, but at least you can feel like you are leaving a mark there (even just for a day before it gets cleaned). It's just a pretty and fun place.

It was my second visit to the beautiful city of Lauterbrunnen -- complete with mountains and waterfalls galore! I come to this beautiful land to wingsuit BASE jump and it is the highlight of my year. This small town doesn't offer tons of vegan options, but one solid staple is Airtime Cafe. This place also happens to sell paragliding rides and BASE jumping gear so it's like a one-stop shop. And how nice it was to see a sign that said, "We have a love for vegans and unicorns!" I ate here a few times over the course of a week. First I got the special vegan pie. Loaded with tomatoes, onions, peas, cauliflower, and garlic, it was absolutely delicious and only 8 CHF. On another occasion, I got the Vegan and Fancy sandwich. This huge sandwich was loaded with beetroot hummus, hazelnuts, smoked tofu, and baby spinach. It was soooo good. I also tried their chocolate ginger cake. This was not so great -- not nearly as flavorful as it could have been. It was pretty dry. They also have a gnocchi dish that can be made vegan. The only downside to Airtime Cafe is that they close early -- around 5 p.m. and stop serving way before that so it's lunch or nothing! Regardless, I love this place. It is laid back, has good food, decent wine, good prices, and nice people. Two thumbs up!

This was a fabulous place in the mountains. Lauterbrunnen is a magical place as is and the delicious pies from here made it more so. They have a pistachio almond espresso, which takes some time but is well worth the wait. 5 stars. Friendly folks who run the place make it awesome.

3.5 stars. This cafe was a good find for us after an afternoon exploring Jungfraujoch. Simple flavors with an easy no fuss menu. We enjoyed our meal while sitting outside with views of rolling green hills, snow capped mountains and waterfalls.

Enjoyed two visits here during a recent stay in Lauterbrunnen, and found it to have tasty if a bit overly strong drinks. Definitely a funky atmosphere with the adventuring also available for purchase, and the baristas visibly switching back and forth between sales and lattes. While Lauterbrunnen seems to be a roll up their sidewalks at nightfall kind of town, i might have appreciated this cafe more if it stayed open a bit later. They also had somewhat of a fly problem inside the cafe, possibly due to often leaving the door ajar. Nonetheless it is a memorable place to stop by while in town, and I'd recommend it.

Really awesome breakfast cafe! This is a bit higher up from the train station but worth having your breakfast there. If you need something warm for breakfast this is the only place in town that is open and has something to offer. The cafe closer to train station just has pastries and few pre made cold sandwiches. There service was awesome, breakfast was great. I wish we had found this place sooner and not the last day of our stay in town!

The Airtime Cafe was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Switzerland! First we were just delighted to stumble upon this cafe that was actually open during the area's down season. Then, we ended up loving it so much that we visited six times in fives days! We would gladly go back in any season! It has a great ambiance and the outdoor seating gives you an amazing view of the the Alps and waterfalls. The staff is friendly and efficient. We loved their fresh juices, smoothies, Cafe Lattes, croissants and every dessert that we tried there. (The monster cookie was the best cookie I ever ate!) Go! You won't be disappointed!

Cash only!!!! Thankfully the gentleman allowed us to get our drinks even though we were a few franks short. Absolutely delicious ginger turmeric lemon honey hot tea. Highly recommend on a cold day or after a nice long hike!

Came upon this cafe while visiting Lauterbrunnen. Cute exterior, and we ordered the following: fancy meaty sandwich (spicy sausage, baby spinach, alp cheese, tomato jam) CHF 11.50, pasta (potato gnocchi, basil butter, spicy sausage,baby spinach, cheese) CHF 14, pancake (3 pancakes with chili maple bacon) CHF 12.50, ham and cheese croissant CHF 7.50. First of all, remember that you are in Switzerland. Meaning, meat is expensive and scarce. So the spicy sausage is very small amount of ground up meat in a delicious sauce. Actually, it is just sauce (just to not get you meat lovers disappointed). Same for the gnocchi pasta- there's no meat in it, just 10 small 3 mm bits of "sausage" in sauce. The pancake is pretty awesome, but it is only carbs obviously. That being said, the sandwich is also only carbs since there's theoretically no meat in it. Gnocchi is tasty but just again, all carbs. All in all, not a bad place to stop for lunch, bill came up to CHF 69 for 6 of us.

This is a wonderfully small and quaint cafe in the heart of Lauterbaunnen. It has a funky atmosphere to it. I agree with other reviews in that it has a fly problem because they allow their café to aerate. HOWEVER that is overlooked due to the amazing food and great coffee. The cherry/almond tart is to die.

Waited half an hour for two crepes. Asked the waiter and they said they forgot to take the order. The cafe doesn't give recipts when ordering and takes cash only, which is dubios at best.

A quant little cafe with one of the most amazing views. Great place for sandwiches, coffee or a quick snack after a long train ride.

A great spot to grab a bite and chill in the main street of Lauterbrunnen. I was surprised to find the matcha almond latte to taste incredibly delicious, as well as my mum's chai latte which I stole many sips from. There's also sandwiches and baked goods to go with the beverage and most importantly, there's WiFi. Overall, a solid spot for any tourist to recharge, strategize and snack in a cozy setting.

This place just fits perfectly in gorgeous Lauterbrunnen. It gave my fiance and I exactly what we needed: delicious food to hold us over before starting a tiny hike AND the staff helped guide us on what to see/do to take advantage of our one sunny day here since the tourist info center was closed at the time we went. We actually annoyingly went into airtime several times within a few hour period to ask questions and eat and they continued to help us with a smile. Simply put, it's super cute with good food and great/friendly service:) would definitely recommend!

The only place we found a decent mocha so far in Switzerland, though it wasn't as good the second time we came. The wifi is good and the pies are really good. The waffle we got was dry.

Loved this place while I was staying in Lauterbrunnen! It's a tiny bit of a walk up from the train station, but there's a bus stop right outside if you're wanting to bus it up the Schilthorn. It's also on the way to the falls! It's primarily marketed as a spot to book a variety of outdoor activities around Lauterbrunnen and Interlaken (paragliding, hanggliding, skydiving, heli rides, rafting, etc) but a side perk is that they have great food and friendly folks willing to help you out with directions around the area. They have delicious coffee, breakfast, and dinner food, along with free wifi for guests. I went there twice. The first time I had porridge and an americano coffee, which was an excellent way to start the day - that porridge stuck to my ribs! The second time I had a hot chocolate melange which was excellent, and a spinach and feta pie which was ok, but still filling. There's a patio where you can sit and chill while you enjoy the view. You can also sit inside but word of warning: By the afternoon the inside is swarming with flies because they leave the door open. It was a bit disconcerting to be flapping my hands madly while trying to enjoy my hot chocolate and savory pie.

Airtime has a central location in Lauterbrunnen. They have very friendly staff, and delicious food to boot! I ordered a burger for lunch from them and the ground beef was extremely fresh and cooked perfectly. They offer a number of outdoor activities, such as paragliding. They also have cozy outdoor seating and delicious espresso. Each time we visited during our short stay, the same young lady helped us. She was very sweet! Thanks for making our stay enjoyable. Visited May 5th and 6th of 2015, but just now getting around to reviewing.

We had breakfast at airtime cafe. They had a great selection of breakfast items relative to other places in Europe. We had the blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and bacon. It was really yummy! My only complaint is that the pancakes were kind of small for the price. The service was good and they got our food out quick. We sat outside and enjoyed the views as we ate.

Good spot for soup and breakfast (fresh oats and yogurt), good coffee and decent service. They also have free wifi and a good amount of baked goods to choose from.

Best place for food here in Lauterbrunnen by far! We tried just about every place and this was the best. I had one of the best brownies of my life at this place. Everything they bake is pretty on point. Good tea and other drinks too. And the staff was always great everytime we went. Especially the lady from England.(can't remember her name) .. This place also helps you book paragliding

Amazing interesting breakfast foods with many healthy options for veg and meat eaters. Great coffee and specialty options. Good treats.

Stopped in here for a great lunch after out paragliding adventure from Murren. Airtime Paragliding provides a free beer coupon after your flight. The beer was good and the food was great. My wife had a great vegetarian quiche with a salad and I had a mincemeat pie, along with our beers. The staff was friendly and free wifi. We would not hesitate to go back!

Love this little place. It's gas such a grey vibe and they made there soup without flour which was amazing because I'm gluten free and the soup was delish. I also have a mocha frap and a hot chocolate which were all great. My hubby tried some of there micro brew beers and fell in love but than couldn't find it anywhere else and had had a bagel and the chocolate brownie all which were great. I'd go back Greg atmosphere and I was very pleaded they served rice milk, regular or soy :)

Love this place! Amazing cappuccinos, delicious savory pies and pastries. Really great vibe filled with cool people - hikers, base jumpers, paragliders, etc.
