Our stay experience was the worst this time compared to other times we stayed at Airways over the years. Offloaded and to catch early next day morning flight was a start of a nightmare with receptionist and reservations coming up with an amount to upgrade and then to be put in suite with water plumbing issues making our daughter use the swimming change room to shower. After recommending to the receptionists and duty manager to move us to a functioning suite, we were moved to another suite that also had water plumbing issues, and after a few words with the duty manager, we were moved to a suite that had no problems. Grumpy receptionists with stern tones don't make customers feel happy at all. Concerge was great and location of hotel to airport is great. Service needs to be looked at.

Airways is still unable to cook a decent steak! Asked for medium-rear and received an incredibly under cooked steak. Sent it back on this occasion (as it was so under cooked) and (? Lauri? Cook) just reheated it and it came back over cooked. Plus all the vegetables were now stone cold. Stay there 1 to 2 times a month, meaning I try the steak a fare bit. Guess what, they still cannot cook a decent steak! Poor effort Airways. Lift U game.

best experience ever... I've never experienced that level of customer service at Airways that I've seen and experienced elsewhere. People are so friendly there and welcoming with all smiles around.. from the driver to the receptionist to the baggage boys.. Too good... The place is so vintage, and the view of the whole airport runway is just magnificent...

If have known and stayed at this hotel many times, albeit the last time almost 10 years ago. Then it had the reputation of being on of th best, perhaps "the best" hotel in port Moresby. Upon a recent trip to the Goroka Show, we decided to stay there again. The Airways is conveniently close to Port Jackson airport, however demands a rather high price, which we were willing to pay based on my previous experience.|The staff, all of them were friendly and helpful. The room was a disappointment! We attempted to change but were refused, hence had to endure. Two major shortcomings stood out:|the bathroom was super-small. Not able to swing a mouse (definitely not a cat). You almost had to enter backwards to make it to the toilet seat. The shower cubicle seemed dirty (see pix). Was it crusted blood or something else. In any case: neither comfortable , nor re-assuring.|The one-and-only window looked out, on the staff walkway, half-ways up an ugly concrete passage. Subsequently no sunshine, hardly any daylight entered this room.|Fortunately we stayed only one night and subsequently changed our booking to another hotel on our way back.|I certainly cannot recommend the Airways Hotel after this experience.

The Airways Hotel in Port Moresby is one of my favourite hotels worldwide. The aviation theme and the decorations and design make it unique and cleverly stylish|I also want to highlight the great hospitality and customer service. I stay there every month or so and was really delighted when I sat down for dinner last night that my drinks of choice arrived without being ordered. It's lovely to feel special and remembered and a big call out to Melissa for the dedication and extra attention to detail.

This is one of the nicest hotels in PNG. It is a five minute drive from the airport in PoM. Nice buffets, great pool. The ground floor rooms can be a little buggy if you open your terrace door. I asked them to spray the room and it took care of them. There is a nice gift shop in the lobby and the gentleman who runs it is very knowledgeable and helpful.

The best ever hotel with clean and spacious room and variety of food for breakfast. Check in time was smooth with the friendly frontdesk. They have snooker table on the first floor and happy hour on the second floor. The only downside was the latte or any type of coffee was chargeable except americano coffee.

Didn't have the items on the menu, which was very disappointing. 2 items on the menu won't available. We ordered and waited for almost 15- 20mins before we were told that certain items on the menu won't available. Making our choices very hard. Fruit juices are healthy drinks and should be available at all times for clients who prefer healthy drinks..
