I left this salon extremely disappointed. I came in with a very clear request: maintain as much of my length as possible, only trim and shape the upper layers, and please don’t take off too much because I had an important event coming up. Instead, far more length was cut than I ever wanted. It felt like my instructions were ignored, which was upsetting because I trusted them with something important to me.
The stylist’s attitude also left me disappointed. At first, she praised my hair, but then she began criticizing it in ways that felt unnecessary and unhelpful. A client should never leave the chair feeling embarrassed about their hair. Pricing was another issue — I was only given a lump sum with no breakdown, and even the blowout was not explained as complimentary. Simple clarity and communication could have prevented this confusion.
What hurt the most is that I tried to be kind and fair. Instead of rushing to leave a negative review, I called the salon directly to share my concerns. I had hoped for understanding and professionalism. Instead, I was blamed — told my hair type was the issue, warned not to rely on photos, and even questioned about why I came in if I “didn’t know better.” That response was not only defensive but deeply unprofessional.
After looking at other reviews, I now see a trend: this salon often writes the same dismissive response whenever someone posts negative feedback. This shows they are not interested in learning or improving, only in pushing the blame back on the client. If a customer makes the effort to give feedback respectfully, the least a business can do is listen. Respect is not automatic — it is earned.
I am angry because I gave them a chance to listen, and instead I was dismissed. I am disappointed because I trusted them with my hair and they failed to respect my request or my feedback. Clients deserve proper consultation, clear pricing, and respectful treatment — none of which I received. Others should be warned: this salon is not prepared to provide that level of care.
