Breathtaking...simply no place like it From the moment you are greeted at the airport tarmac you are embraced by the island lifestyle. The people of Aitutaki are the most gracious hosts and cannot help you enough. The island is so special. A 5 min drive from airport and a 2 min shuttle across to the private lagoon resort and you have stepped into paradise. Every room in this resort has an amazing view as well as your own bicycles, kayaks and stand up paddle boards. We were lucky to stay in the overwater bungalows for 4 nights which was amazing. Seeing the fish and accessing the water from our deck was awesome. The sunrise truly amazing. Our final night was in a private infinity pool room overlooking the other side of the island. If we thought our mind was blown by the overwater bungalow well this was next level...two seperate areas one your bedroom and bathroom with a fridge and kettle and then step across the entryway into a lounge area also with a dining table and a kitchen area with stove top, oven, air fryer, toaster, coffee maker which then extended to your private deck with a 2 person lounge cabana, table and chairs, sun loungers and a pool overlooking the lagoon. We did NOT want to leave this piece of paradise.||The only downside is you cannot get to town without using the private taxi service or a hire car or scooter. This costs $40 return trip. It's too far for a bicycle ride really unless you are very keen.

This resort is 5 star, with more than the comforts of home. Staff are the most welcoming of any resort. The food is right up there for choice and quality, despite being miles from the big cities. The best part is the location surrounded by lagoon and reefs. Completely safe and comfortable to snorkel, kayak and SUP. The island is so small you can walk around in 20-30 minutes. It’s a must to get picked up for a snorkelling tour, the experience is well worth it. Private Island is my new favourite place.

Aitutaki Private Island Resort has stolen our heart. Our most favourite part would have to be when we redid our wedding vows on Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort. Joseph, Jason Napa, Patiariki, Illy, Geoffrena, Mereseini, Rod, Luke, Gary & the rest of the gang, you guys are just the best. The way you decrated our rooms was just so beautiful. You all go out of your way to make every person feel special & important. The rooms are awesome, the pillows and matress are so comfortable, the grounds are so clean. The food most of the time is delicious, and the cocktails are yummy. Dont forget to look after our cocnuts. We are counting the days until we are back to visit in February 2026. We will be bringing our uniforms so we can give Mere a night off. Please give our love to everyone. We miss you all so much. Meitaki & God Bless. 💕🙏

We stayed in the overwater bungalows for our honeymoon, and our whole stay was incredible. The resort is beautiful, the staff so attentive and helpful, and the location is just wow! Highly recommend, and we will definitely be returning. The food and cocktails were amazing. Love how the overwater bungalows are set up with kayaks, paddle board and bikes so it made everything easy and at our fingertips.

Our honeymoon at Aitutaki Lagoon was unforgettable. The island is breathtaking, and the service was exceptional. The resort provides so much to do that we didn't even feel the need to leave the private island. Luke, Jerry, Mere, and Kay went above and beyond to make our stay truly special. Highly recommended! Will absolutely be returning in years to come.

This was our second visit to the resort (previous visit was 2021 just out of lockdown).|There have been a few renovations made since our last visit - the Resort is looking great! We particularly enjoyed how all the staff were friendly and went out of their way to learn our names and greet us by name whenever we saw them (special shout out to Teri and Luke!). The location, accommodation and dining was spectacular.

My wife and I visited Aitutaki private resort for my birthday. I was such a pleasurable experience for us. Our accommodation was very clean and tidy and made a little quirky with a beautiful outdoor shower! The view from the bedroom of the lagoon when we woke up each morning was stunning. ||The restaurant presented a delicious and yet healthy buffet breakfast for us by the omelet specialist chef Salih that was delicious and the evening meal which we thoroughly enjoyed amongst glorious views at sunset made each night special!||I must mention the staff within the resort starting with Pat who greeted us and was our friendly relations manager, Mere who we cannot be grateful to enough for her attentive and meticulous nature during meal times, Jerry whose bar skills are second to none and his chats about the History of the Island was fascinating||Our gratitude also goes to to Nousy, Renia, Luke and Illy who we could always rely on for anything we needed during the day. And of course Raneed the resort manager who was always on top of organizing any event that we wished to part of including the massages and pedicures. And finally Kay who sets up the famous crab race among many other outdoor activities we wished to be part of!||Thank you to all for making our time at Aitutaki such a wonderful experience for us and we very much look forward to seeing you all on our next visit.||Haldun & Virginia

We had an incredible time here, we stayed in the private villa which was simply outstanding. We did also get to view the other rooms which were all equally impressive with their own advantages. The food was unbelievable as were the cocktails! Ili, Ron and Jason were fantastic and so welcoming. Thanks team, we are sad we are leaving!
