Aitutaki Private Lagoon is truly a paradise! Beautiful beachfront bungalows with our very own kayaks, paddle boards n bikes. A bonus was watching the amazing sunsets right outside our door. Fantastic food accompanied by beautiful music from the resident singer. Staff were amazing n nothing was too much trouble for them. They made sure we were able to catch the flight out after our snorkelling tour that afternoon. Many thanks to Kula, Kavita n Pati. This place is definitely heaven on earth!

I didn’t expect this hotel to be that amazing — but it completely blew me away! I’m recommending it to everyone I know. What truly makes this place special is the staff. I’ve never felt so warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for. Every single staff member knew our names, where we were from, and even remembered our food preferences by heart. When we arrived in our room, there were snorkeling gear, a paddleboard, and board games already set up for us. Bikes were also available for everyone, making it super easy to explore. The only downside? The mosquitoes — but honestly, everything else was so incredible that it didn’t even matter. An unforgettable experience on a stunning private island!

Let me explain at first that in general all staff in the hotel was very nice. FYI, hotel was put for sale but noone bought it. That may explain why there is no investment in the hotel. For the price I think it was not worth money as bungalows are old, strange layout, no mirrors in the bathroom in front of the sinc so if you are shaving good luck. Sea around property is very very shallow to the point that you can't really even use kayaks as you get stuck on some sand. Food in the restaurant is nothing special, just an average. We supposed to stay for 3 days but last day we actually switched to another much better hotel. Manager was very nice as to give us one night money back (he didn't have too). Hotel is actually very busy as pictures are very inviting but reality is very different in my opinion. Bottom line: I would not go back there. Aitutaki is very very nice island to visit.

My partner and I stayed at the resort from 4 June to 9 June and we already cannot wait to go back. The lagoon is truly one of the most breathtaking places we've ever been and the resort is so accommodating to anything you could possibly need. We were greeted at the airport by Pati who was so welcoming and started the trip off on such a high. Once we arrived at the resort everything was handled seamlessly and the service that we received throughout our stay was nothing short of exceptional. The food was amazing over every meal and the drinks were outstanding. A special shout out to Luke who made most of our cocktails and would always great us with smiles and was happy to have a friendly chat. Mere and Nosi were two other staff members who assisted us every day and truly made our stay feel like home, we were so well taken care of.||Not only is the resort in an amazing location and their services matches the environment but we truly felt that everyone went above and beyond to make our trip memorable and enjoyable! |We cannot extend our gratitude enough to Luke, Mere and Nosi who truly made our trip.

My wife and I recently spent our honeymoon at Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always eager to help—making us feel like we were part of their island family. We stayed in an overwater bungalow, and waking up each morning to the stunning turquoise lagoon was truly unforgettable. The buffet breakfast was a highlight every day—fresh, delicious, and enjoyed with unbeatable views. The resort had everything we could’ve asked for to make our stay both relaxing and adventurous. They provided complimentary paddle boards, kayaks, lilos, snorkels, and even bicycles for every room, which was a lovely touch and a great way to explore the island. We also enjoyed the extra amenities like the pool table and table tennis, which added to the fun. Every moment felt effortless and special—truly the perfect place to celebrate our honeymoon.

The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always going the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully presented, with breathtaking views right outside the door. The food was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options to suit all tastes. We especially loved the easy access to the beach and the chance to explore the surrounding lagoon—it felt like paradise. This is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy the natural beauty of the Cook Islands. Following our arrival on Aitutaki, the resort picked us up from the airport and transferred us to the Private Island Resort. Beautiful to say the least. After a refreshing welcome coconut drink our accommodation was ready to settle into. Very well appointed with all that you need. We had our own private hammock, paddle board, canoe and bikes to use. We were well looked after on the resort with all the staff being very friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant on the resort, but there were also some wonderful restaurants and cafes on the main island to try that were easy accessible from the resort. Just use your bikes to get around. The main island was very quiet and safe to use your bikes. The resort arranged a tour of the island which is well worth doing and lasts around 3 hours. In all we had a great stay in a beautiful location which is highly recommended by us.

This is an absolutely stunning resort located in paradise.🌴🏖️⛱️🐬🏊‍♀️🐠🌊🐚🌞✨🧚🌺😍❤️ A truly beautiful place for a wonderful holiday. Step out from your villa with the most amazing outdoor enclosed shower into the warmest lagoon water. Each villa has two bicycles, two kayaks ( one double, one single) a paddle board and snorkel gear. Thank you Nocy, Terri, Jerry, Luke, Ili, Va, Tavita, Pati and Rawinia, and anyone else whose name I have forgotten. You were all wonderful remembering the guests' names and always being so happy and helpful. 🤗😍🧚✨ Sisters Paulette and Linda🌻🧚‍♀️
