The views and customer service here are unmatched. The breakfast is wonderful and has an omelette bar. There are pedal bikes at each bungalow to explore the resort. Mine and my boyfriend’s luggage was delayed and Roneel made several phone calls to the airlines on our behalf to ensure our bags were delivered in the most timely manner possible and he personally delivered our bags to us once they arrived. Jerry and the rest of the staff are wonderful with learning the names of the guests and are genuinely interested in you as people. Possibly the best views on the island.

My wife and I have just spent two glorious weeks in the Cook Islands on our honeymoon. The first week, staying at sister resort The Rarotongan, on Rarotonga, felt like a great holiday, with plenty of activities and things to do. However, it was when we arrived at Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort that we felt the honeymoon really began! The house and grounds keepers always kept the place looking schmick, the front desk were always helpful, and the kitchen produced some delicious meals. Four people however, stood out to us as the highlight of our stay. Luke, from day one, always made us feel welcome, made sure we were well fed, and was great to have a chat and laugh with. Teri was so friendly, made sure that we were always okay, taken care of, and always pointed us in the right direction if we looked a little lost. Jerry looked after us on our private candlelit dinner, and helped create a night that will always be special for us and that we will always remember. Mere always greeted us with a smile, and was always helpful. These people are what makes this place so special, always greeting us by name, and forming personal connections. The only slight blemish on an otherwise perfect stay , was that immediately on arrival we booked in massages for our final day. When we went to attend these, they had double booked, and were unavailable. Nonetheless, we had a truly great five nights here, and cannot wait to return. Meitaki.

Aitutaki is an amazingly beautiful island . Uncrowded, laid back and brilliant blue warm water. |Privately island resort was fantastic. Relaxed luxury. |Amazing over the water bungalow. I loved just stepping off the back deck into pristine water. |Great food - breakfast, lunch and dinner .|All the staff were always willing and ready to help . Especially Luke , who too extra special care of our group of 8 at all our meals . He remembered all our names after the first day.||Also special mention of Platinum cruises and our skipper for the day - Me. There is no better way to see the lagoon !||Can’t wait to come back

Beautiful and picturesque, but the magic touch was the amazing care and hospitality of the staff.||Thank you to Ron for the joyful welcome, Mary for the skillful spa treatment, Mere for the big smile behind the bar and the amazing cocktails, Luke for always knowing what we needed, Rawinia for those awesome tray skills, Locy for getting us the best seats at fire show and always laughing at my jokes, Teri for loving our laughter and lastly Lucinda and Anil for the amazing buffet breakfasts and the best eggs Benedict. ||The staff are the super power of this resort, they'll make you feel at home, welcomed and cared for.

We stayed in the Beachfront Bungalow for 3 nights on our honeymoon and really enjoyed our stay! From the start, the service was top notch and throughout our stay it was very clear they cared a lot about ensuring everyone was having a great stay. Many of the staff would ask what your name is and make it a point to remember. Luke in particular was a standout! For being on a remote island and at a hotel that's on its own island, there was a decent amount of food options. Taking into consideration the NZD to USD conversion, we felt the food prices were very reasonable. We appreciated the different daily activities they offered and loved that each room came with bikes which you could use. Each room also came with single and double kayaks and a paddle board, in addition to board games which we thought were a really nice touch. While we were there, we were probably one of the youngest couples. There were maybe 2-3 other couples around our age. Everyone staying at the property was very friendly and personable. The reason we're taking off 1 start is because of a few things: 1) When we checked into our room, there were 100s of mini spiders on the bathroom counter. While the staff took care of this pretty quickly, this is something that should have been noticed while the room turnover was happening. 2) With both pools, we noticed that the blue paint would rub off on your feet. The pool is clearly painted blue to lean into the island/tropical vibe but it should've been painted and treated in a way so your feet do not turn blue after standing in the pool. If you want other food options, there is a little cafe walking distance after you cross the lagoon.

The property itself was so quiet and relaxing. There were plenty of deck chairs and pods to use. The pools were beautiful. The food was of the highest quality. The cocktails were very reasonably prices and delicious. The staff were so attentive, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed being met at the airport by Roneel. He was warm and friendly and made us smile everyday. All of the staff were great, however we had exceptional service by Jerry, Mere, Teri and Luke. They greeted us by name every time we saw them, and nothing was too much trouble. They are an asset to the property and provided amazing customer service throughout our stay.

This resort is set amongst some of the best scenery in the Cook Islands. Each bungalow is set up with bicycles, snorkelling gear, reef shoes and paddle boards.|However the best feature of this resort is the friendly staff who ask your first name when you arrive and never forget it for your stay. Many thanks to Luke, Gerry, Kay, Mere, Teri , Kula and Rowena for making our stay on Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort a perfect holiday with very fond memories of the Cook Islands

This was our first time to the Cook Islands and we just loved our stay at the Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort. We stayed in an over water bungalow and atmosphere was just wonderful. Staff and service were excellent - especially Luke, our attentive server at the restaurant. Activities provided were fun and entertaining. Would recommend to everyone.
