Aja Bistro & Bar

Aja is an absolute gem! The food is incredibly delicious—every dish is full of flavor and thoughtfully prepared. The staff are warm, friendly and attentive. The ambience is relaxed and welcoming and the restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of Boat Avenue. Jamie and Paul have a real talent for turning even simple dishes into something special. Their pumpkin soup and chicken schnitzel are must-tries some of the best we’ve had and many more other amazing dishes. We highly recommend Aja. No regrets

EXECELLENT service and AMAZING food. We had oysters (which were very fresh) and cobia ceviche (really fresh, delicious and unique) for appetisers. They comp us with a pumpkin soup with freshly made cream cheese tortellini (so very well done and delicious). Our main courses were steaks (beautifully cooked - we both order rare - wagyu ribeye & fillet).. The dessert was exquisite because we order a cheesecake, and they comp us a homemade rum drink which was a clarified pina colada. OmG.. that blew my mind!! So clean, fresh, nutty and tasty! Really superb experience. I'm so glad I brought my husband there for his birthday. Really didn't disappoint! Will be back and I highly recommend!!

I personally pretty impressed with everything started from the venue & the vibes. I like the fact that the restaurant is spacious, the seat is comfortable, well decorated, hip but cozy. The food is very tasty and not complicated . The menu is suitable to all ages. Their food are classic dishes with a twist & cool presentation which make the food become more interesting - I’m very happy with all of my selection. I’ll definitely going back to taste more dishes that I didn’t get to eat today😂 Highly recommended. And the price is very fair ! 😌

Without a doubt, the best restaurant in the area - with no competition. Chef Jamie and his team are kicking ass, and you should really try their cuisine, it’s really NOT to be missed! Highly recommended. Thank you Chef Jamie and team Aja for amazing lunch & top notch service! I’ll be back!

Fantastic bar and restaurant with good music aswell, first visited it as a bar for some cocktails and had the most wonderful cocktails made for us by the bartender Sky, he is fantastic at them and knew so many, he has a vast knowledge of cocktails. North aswell was extremely knowledgeable on the area and told us about things to do in the area and they both made the place special. Then we came for a meal and the steaks are the best in the area!! Especially the Wagyu and the wine aswell is fairly priced and very nice. I definitely recommend it.

We came for a late lunch and had a wonderful meal with great service. My husband even commented that he hasn’t caught the waiter not smiling even once 😂 I enjoyed the interior and artwork on the wall - I wonder if they exhibit local artists? I should have asked. I personally loved the pumpkin soup with its cheesy dumplings and would come back just for this!

Every dishes are sooo good !! My favorite would be "Prawn Toast" it's a perfect bite 😋 Also i love the vibe here. It's a good place for friend and family, the vibe makes conversation more enjoyable. Staff here are so friendly and attentive. And thank you Chef Jamie for taking such good care of us. We would definitely come back 😊

Very tasty food and great service. We told the waiter that our daughter was allergic to eggs, and since there was no egg-free dish on the menu, the chef prepared a dish especially for her. It was very nice and tasty.
