"I didn’t eat anything till lunch, at which point I ordered delivery from Aji Sushi, a restaurant that punches way above its weight. It’s priced more or less like cheap delivery sushi, but, as I discovered one night after randomly ordering it on Seamless, the quality is out of this freakin’ world."

Google
I ordered the pork gyoza and California roll. Was very pleased with both- the avocado in the roll was particularly nice and creamy. They give a generous amount of sauce too. Will order again

Google
Im so traumatized and disgusted today I order drunken noodles and after eating some i put a spoon of foldedpaper in my mouth with letters and ink on the paper omg i ordered off of uber eats im so mad

Google
Ordered delivery from UberEats and I can’t say enough how pleased I was with everything. They do their own delivery from Uber and I wish I knew that before I ordered because I would’ve gone directly through them. Amazingly fast delivery. Great prices. High quality eats. Delicious flavors. Peanut Avocado mango salad has a delicious spicy mustard dressing. Great tang and sharp heat. Pad Thai was also excellent with well balanced flavors.

I visited this establishment to place a takeout order and was disappointed by the experience. While I understand that wait times can vary, the communication from the staff was quite lacking. Additionally, I was surprised to find that I wasn’t permitted to use the restroom, as I wasn't considered a customer despite placing an order. The food was decent, but the service left much to be desired. Improvements in staff communication and customer service would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Google
AJI Sushi & Thai provides top-notch service and a diverse menu of delicious foods. I ordered the California rolls, which are one of my favorites, and the delivery was impressively quick. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves sushi. The service is fantastic!

Google
Really delicious and affordable sushi and ramen. It was a simple broth with chewy noodles. Would visit again! The workers are all very nice and service was fast.

Google
My wife and I decided to try this place tonight and I'm so glad that we did! The food was absolutely delicious. We started off with pork gyoza and seaweed salad, the gyoza was perfectly cooked and crispy, the seaweed salad was just as good and definitely tasted fresh. We also got the black anger roll, the paradise roll, and the spicy crunchy tuna roll, all of which were amazing. Definitely give it a shot, so worth it!

Google
Consistently the fastest delivery in Brooklyn! I ordered from here when I lived in deeper Fort Greene and now Park Slope, under 30 mins all the time! Most importantly, the food is always nice and hot! Great flavors and the sushi is always fresh. They also have my favorite hot and sour soup that I've encountered

Yelp
I visited Brooklyn this weekend and ordered the Sex on the Beach roll and Drunken noodles and they were absolutely amazing!! The person who took my order was nice and the service was fast.

Yelp
Recommend the Bento Box specials - excellent value given the quality & amount of food. Last week I had the Teriyaki Lunch Special Bento box with salmon, miso soup and brown rice. For under 13$ I'd have to say it's an amazing deal ! The salmon was cooked perfectly & came with 2 shumai shrimp dumplings, 4 pieces of California roll, and steamed edamame, along with rice and miso soup. Delivery was quick too. I've tried the Thai food from here also, it's fine for a quick lunch, but the Bento box is such a better value it's no contest. I'm definitely getting the Bento box when I go here next time.

Yelp
This restaurant is AMAZING!!! The employees is very nice! The food is delicious and tasty. Especially the bento box is a great deal! I will definitely come back.

Yelp
Great sushi restaurant, only doing delivery and pick up (to go) because of covid, although I think they used to have indoor dining and maybe someday they will again. The sushi is delicious and I like that they have a vegetable section of the menu; however, you do still have to ask specific questions if you care about being vegetarian. For example, they put eel sauce on the sweet potato sushi unless you ask them not to. They have not raised the prices on avocado sushi like most places have, so come here while you can! They are very generous with the ginger and soy sauce, and the wasabi is good. Definitely my favorite quick pick up sushi in the neighborhood, and they have cooked entrees as well.

Yelp
Ordered a few sushi rolls and drunken noodles - everything was really good! Delivery was quick and food was still warm and fresh. This is going to be my new go-to dinner spot for sure

Yelp
I absolutely love this restaurant. I can't even tell you how many times I've been here because it's probably too much to even remember. I got introduced to this restaurant from very young and I realize that their consistency is something that cannot be beat.

Yelp
my favorite spot in Brooklyn. The food is always so fresh, warm, and high quality. and deliveries are also so fast

Yelp
Delicious food. Friendly service. Will absolutely be ordering again. We ordered the panang curry, green curry with chicken, and two California rolls. Super filling!

源

Yelp
I've never ordered from here but today i took a chance and im happy i did,Great food camenon time and everthing i asked for was in the bag.I definitely gonna order here again.

Yelp
We did delivery because I was in town for only 2 days and wanted Japanese and Thai food. Asparagus sushi for starters, and some miso soup. Clear vermicelli w/ vegetable & chicken. Reasonably priced. My buddy had something with chicken & rice with chicken. We ordered thru that GrubHub site, so things may appear different on their own site. Or just call. Located a few blocks from Grand Army Plaza in beautiful brooklyn. Recommended. Surely I would have again if an opportunity comes.

Yelp
Wow! Super impressed with the Tom Yum soup. The mushrooms were absolutely delicious, and some of the best hearty well prepared shrimp I've had in a long time. Singapore noodles with beef was well spiced and veggies tasted fresh. Thai ice tea had depth, hit the spot, and was minimally packaged not to spill. Can't wait to express re-order - yum! Future Reminder: ask for no utensils or plastic straws.

Yelp
We order from this place at least once a week b/c my 9 year old ALWAYS wants sushi (rolls and pieces of sushi) and the rest of us switch between sushi and thai noodles dishes or fried rice. So it's nice to get it all from one place. The sushi has been consistently above average for sushi delivery. It's SUPER fast and still cold, even in the summer. The thai dishes aren't the BEST american-thai around, but they are good enough to do the job and satisfy the craving. Overall, it is just a great mix of above average sushi and decent american-thai so it suits us very well. And the quickness of delivery is shocking.... Sometimes I feel like I hit "place order" and it's here before I am even ready! For families that have an obstinate sushi-only lover and others that like to bounce around between their choices, this is a great option.

Yelp
I had the Crazy Spicy Roll, which does not have rice and only a sticky rice wrap. It might be okay if it was not delivered but since it was and in a small container.... it stuck together and broke apart when you try to separate them. They need a leave in between the pieces. But the sushi itself was a huge mess of what ever mush. It was not remotely spicy. I felt like there was no distinction in the fish. The tempura sesame flakes on top was kind of interesting but added to the 'sloppiness' of the sushi. It might have been better with rice... I also had the shumai. Tiny and flavorless little pork pieces. Tasted like it was from a frozen supermarket. The Thai ice tea was the best part of my meal. Wish it was still iced since the delivery guy was so late and also didn't listen to me on the phone as to where I was.

Yelp
Solid sushi & Thai take out place. Reasonably priced. Not the place for your romantic dinner, but absolutely hits the spot when getting dinner to go.
google avatar

Jessy A.

Yelp
During this quarantine, it's hard to rate any business when you need to take out or deliver meals so that's why the 4 stars. Other than that, the food was fresh, and so delicious. I ordered 6 different rolls from basic California to Dragon and their specialty Lava. This was my first time eating from here and I was not disappointed. I'm very picky with sushi bars on account that it should not smell or taste like a fish market. They are reasonably priced as well for the size and type of rolls. Next time I order will be for sashimi!
google avatar

Yelp
Here's some great advice: if you ever think about coming here - don't. I rarely write scathing reviews but everything about this place is wrong. The sushi tasted like the fish had been sitting in the freezer for a week and a half. A roach was crawling on the wall behind me. I went to use the restroom and there was urine all over the seat and floor and the toilet was unflushed. Our server was very apologetic and kind but by the time my food came i ate two pieces of sushi and gave up.

Tatiana K.

Yelp
Every time I attempt to get delivery from this place something goes wrong and once the issue is discovered it is too late and they've already closed their kitchen - probably more on the delivery service, but this has happened on multiple occasions so the restaurant probably has to factor into it as well...cant say anything about the food cause it's never made it to me to actually eat
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered this via Grubhub and the delivery was quick and easy. This is my first time ordering from this restaurant. In summary, I got spicy crunchy salmon roll (see the photo attached you will find a 1.5cm hard plastic that could've injured me, and the taste was plain, but I think this is better than the other reviewer finding a staples), eel avocado roll (as you can see in the picture, the ratio of avocado: eel is like 80:20, this is disappointing), lobster tempura roll (it was average and way overpriced), pad thai (actually really flavorful), korean style stir-fried glass noodle (not bad, pretty flavorful as well), and Mille crepe cakes Mango (like another reviewer has pointed out, the size is tiny, also not sweet kind of bland, not worth it). That's about it. The price of the sushi are overpriced, but reasonable for the kitchen items. I would perhaps re-visit only for the kitchen items, definitely not for sushi.
google avatar

Tanya A.

Yelp
Got the 2 roll (spicy tuna and salmon rolls) lunch special. It also comes with miso soup or a salad. They gave a lot of filling and overall it was a good lunch special deal. However, my SO got the eel roll and that came with more cucumber than eel.
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
The bento box is the best. It brings a little bit of everything, which is nice. Too bad you can only get this lunch special at a certain time. I was late once and couldn't get the bento, so I tried the chicken tempura and wasn't a fan of. The vegetables were coated in a thick batter, and the chicken was soggy(?) Honestly a waste. I'll stick with the bento box.

Yelp
This is an update to a previous review! So basically the food was so bad, I had to call the restaurant to ask for my money back. I called 3 times to speak to the manager, and they hung up on me ALL 3 time, I swear!! As a matter of fact, the last time I called, they told me don't call back the restaurant again and hung up. This is what there telling a customer who has paid there money to support their business. So long story short, I had to call seamless to get my money back! I will never order from them again, they are only nice when you want to place an order, clearly because they are getting money from you. But if you ever are not satisfied with your food, and demand good customer service or your money back, good luck with that, they will give you hell and will be rude!!
google avatar

Nicole F.

Yelp
Ordered delivery from here and was solid. Drunken noodle - tasty with a good amount of sauce and spice to it. We like spicy and we think it's a good level. Penang Curry - also really good flavor here. Always get it with chicken and it was really good. Gyoza - good but nothing crazy here to expect Rock shrimp - this is always hard to order and expect it to be super crispy. The flavor is there but could use another 5-10 min in the oven to crisp back up after delivery.
google avatar

Alyssa H.

Yelp
They were quick, but average (reviewing sushi only). Some of the sushi is decently priced, some is overpriced (like the shrimp tempura roll - 4 pieces, and instead of avocado like usual places, it was Romain lettuce in the roll. Odd?). Husband liked his order, Aquarium sushi platter, which was good. The ginger and wasabi wasn't fresh, not the end of the world.

Sabeen R.

Yelp
Food is all right but sometimes a roll doesn't seem fresh. lunch special portions are good however desserts are small. I just paid $6 for a matcha crepe cake slice that is so tiny the entire thing fits into my 1/3 measuring cup. I work one block away and they won't offer our business free delivery during bad weather which is another big negative.

Yelp
I could have sworn I had some decent sashimi platters from Aji in 2017, so am giving Aji three stars. I rarely eat spicy tuna, so am not the best judge of spicy tuna. Tonight, however, is the first time I've ever thrown spicy tuna in the garbage. I'm not sure if I just don't like spicy tuna or if I just don't like Aji's spicy tuna. Either way, Aji's spicy tuna is the first spicy tuna to hit my trash can Tonight's salads were OK, not the best. I liked the naruto/cucumber roll, but that was the smallest item with only five thin pieces. I threw away the menu and am making a mental note to order from Kiku next time I want sushi or sashimi, as I feel like I wasted money and didn't eat anything that "hits the spot." On a happier note, Aji's phone service was professional and prompt. Delivery came sooner than expected. So the third star is also earned for professionalism of the people taking orders on the phone and delivering the food.

Yelp
Yummy thai food. The panang curry and thai basil were both delicious. (The sushi pizza wasn't my favorite but it also wasn't bad either- and I appreciate the uniqueness.)
google avatar

Victoria C.

Yelp
Food was great and early. We've ordered sushi from here twice and both times have been excellent.

Lena K.

Yelp
This place is horrible. I ordered the PadThai off of seamless and it was inedible. So disappointing and frustrating cause now I'm hungry. This is literally the WORST pad thai I've ever had...the sauce is disgusting and there was no egg even though it said egg in the description. Plus when the delivery guy came, instead of ringing my doorbell, he called me TWICE and then hung up on me. When I went downstairs he wasn't even there!! Don't waste your money on this place
google avatar

Lauren W.

Yelp
I now order delivery from Aji Sushi monthly. Service is fast. Food is consistent. I really enjoy the pineapple fried rice (mild) and rock shrimp. I don't eat sushi and I have never been to this restaurant in person, but I would recommend getting delivery from here for Thai food.

Bobe B.

Yelp
I only give one star because I can't give 0. Yesterday I gave this place a 2nd chance. My first order (5 days ago) was a pad thai, the worst I've ever had. Yesterday I ordered drunken noodle and fried rice. Never again! Besides the fact that it was tasteless, I even found staple in my food, thanks God I didn't swallow it. Please, don't believe in the reviews you find on seamless. Do yourself a favor, order from another place.

Yelp
Many moons ago there was another Japanese restaurant here that was pretty tasty, affordable, and great for delivery. Aji Fusion apparently has taken over the location so not a lot of the decor has changed. One of the first things I noticed was that the prices were quite a bit higher. We ordered the Sushi Pizza ($13) and Spicy Maki Combo (3 rolls for $15), with miso soup. Our waitress also gave us a complimentary Kale salad which was quite nice. I loved the Kale, raisins, walnuts, and the dressing however I'm not a big fan of raw (red) onions. The miso soup really came as a surprise as it was actually quite sustantial with shiitake mushrooms! Yum. The sushi pizza was actually quite delicious. Fried pancake on the bottom, guacamole, salmon, spicy mayo, dressed with roe, scallions, dried cranberries. A must have. (I personally liked the chef's idea of sweetening a plate with raisins/ dried cranberries but others might not). Onto the dissappointing aspect - the three Spicy rolls. I don't recall what fish was used but the plate simply wasn't really memorable as the unagi needed just a touch more sauce, and the jalapenos didn't really work - especially when I tasted some seed which overpowered the fish too much. My suggestion to the restaurant: lower your prices to get more customers in for the first few months. The quality of food has high potential to compete with the other Japanese restaurants around the neighborhood. I'd just lower the prices just a little bit, and dim the lighting just a touch w/ candles since they've already got pillows going on.

Yelp
Based on my Seamless reviews : I tend to usually want my food within a reasonable time during work hours..I mean who doesn't right? When I am in the mood for Sushi, this has become my go to for freshness, timeliness and variety. They constantly deliver my food fresh and at a decent price. My usual go to is a Salmon Avocado roll (they give you an option for Brown Rice) and the Gyozas. The Gyoza is seared to perfection-it's never overly fried nor soggy and it has the perfect blend of flavors. Once I begin to get tired of this (which I don't see myself doing anytime soon, I'll venture out and try other offerings on the menu). So far, they haven't failed me :)

Yelp
Ordered from Grub hub. Their reviews had this marked as 4 stars so I thought I would give it a go... BUT: Ugh ugh ugh I ordered the chicken panang curry (with added pineapple YUM) which comes with either a salad or miso soup (chose the salad), clear soup and a piece of white tuna sushi. First of all, since does 2 pieces of lettuce with one grape tomato constitute a salad? This was disappointing. Second, they sent me miso soup instead of the ordered Clear soup. Third, I ordered SUSHI..ya know raw fish? The white tuna was cooked! Not even just pan seared but actually cooked. Alas, this was disappoiting as well. Finally, they charged an extra $2 for pineapple which I thought was kinda ridiculous since you can get a can of pineapple for $1. I hate to admit because of everything else being so poor but the miso soup (though I didn't order it) was good and the panang curry was scrumptious. The curry had green bell peppers, fried tofu, onions and my added pineapple. I also opted for the brown rice. Perhaps this ordeal wouldn't have happened if I was dining in the restaurant. As of right now the only reason they habe three stars is because my main entree was good. BTW overall cost was ~$25 so kinda pricey
google avatar

Irina C.

Yelp
My regular sushi place was closed, so I ordered from here, instead. Pineapple fried rice was super yummy. Spicy tuna fried won ton with avocado on the side was really good. I like that the spicy tuna sushi is not overpowered by rice. It is a thin layer of rice and works for me, since I am more interested in the tuna than the rice. Delivery was 15 min longer than estimated, but then again it was close to closing. Overall, good food.
google avatar

Susanna L.

Yelp
Had the sashimi lunch. Which consisted of 6 pieces of sushi and 4 pieces of sushi. Meh, I didn't really like it. The fish here was not fresh.. although thick slices, they were falling apart when I picked them up with my chopsticks, the taste was quite fishy as well. The 4 pieces of sushi is your typical California roll. Very very bland. The quality is not worth the price.
google avatar

Kittiya P.

Yelp
Ordered take out in the restaurant. Server clearly didn't know the menu at all. She had to relay my questions to another person. My very simple roll had a thin, patchy layer of rice around it. Never gonna order from them again. Very shameful. 1 extra star for the cleanliness of the restaurant. Also, when not a single customer is in the restaurant except a take out client, you should probably offer them water and kiss their ass as much as possible.

Yelp
This new sushi joint is just steps away from us so we decided to check it out on night. They are BYOB so we got a bottle of sauvignon blanc a couple doors away at the wine shop for our meal. No corking fee here so yaaay! The place was nice, looks like a typical sushi joint. I think they can open all their windows/doors for an open air sort of thing on nice summer days. there was a sushi bar in the back and it was a good size place, not too cramped or teeny like most sushi restaurants. Our appetizers were the seared ahi and also the calamari. The ahi was excellent. little cubes of ahi tuna drizzled with some kind of dressing that I am assuming had some ponzu and soy sauce. the fish was also sprinkled with a spice that gave it a little kick. It was nice and tangy from the sauce with a little spiciness. The calamari was really good. the batter to squid ratio was great, crispy on the outside and tender meat inside. Dunk it in the spicy chili sauce! We got two specialty rolls. One had spicy tuna I believe and covered in a crunchy batter (kind like tempura batter) and another similar to a dragon or volcano roll with cream cheese on top. They were both very good. Good portions as well. The fish was fresh and the combinations were tasty. They have a good size menu with great specialty rolls at very reasonable prices. Their lunch specials looked like a really good deal too. 9 bucks for a bento box and they have it on Saturdays! Worth checking out for good sushi in the area, really great service. They were very attentive and willing to help out with any questions about the food.

Yelp
Always order on seamless and the food is always correct and awesome, will always be my go to for Thai food drunken man, spicy tuna rolls, and the calamari are amazing!!

Yelp
Ordered delivery from here last night and was far from impressed. First of all, Seamless had told me that it would take 30-45 minutes but took 75 minutes to get our food. We ordered the Tic Tac Toe appetizer and the Crazy Spicy Roll and they were TERRIBLE! They tasted fishy, slimy and completely fell apart when we tried to eat them - we each had one piece and threw the rest in the garbage. Rice free rolls sound like a fun idea, but they suck - skip it. We also ordered the Out of Control Roll and the Twin Roll and these were slightly better, if only because they didn't fall apart and had a nice mix of textures. But they still tasted a little fishy and if we weren't so hungry after waiting over an hour for our food, we probably would have thrown these in the garbage too. The shrimp tempura in the Twin Roll specifically tasted pretty stale. Lesson learned - check out Yelp before ordering from somewhere new because Seamless reviews are retarded and completely inaccurate!
google avatar

Jonathan R.

Yelp
This place really doesn't deserve the ratings it has. First off I ordered on seamless late at night and it arrived really FAST. The TunaAvocado roll I got was fresh with huge pieces of both. The avocado was perfectly ripe and the tuna had a fine texture and dark color. The General Tso's chicken was nicely fried (not gummy) with that simple sweet, tangy and slightly spicy thick sauce. I love real chinese food but sometimes you just want that basic stuff you grew up with and some places have really gross General Tso's thats just incredibly sweet. This one was pretty balanced and satisfied that comfort food craving. Also it came with brown rice which I didn't specify but kind of made me feel better anyway. Even the hijiki salad was plentiful and tasty.
google avatar

Taylor N.

Yelp
Ordered from seamless, sushi came fresh and warm. The mango peanut salad w/ avocado was amazing and very fresh for the season!
google avatar

Helen B.

Yelp
So it looks like Aji Sushi is trying to compensate for the bad reviews on here. I ordered from Aji through seamless while I was on the train home from work. I got my sushi in about 20 min (maybe even less). I asked for extra ginger and they definitely provided. The quality of fish was much better than what I am used to. The rice was fresh. My belly is satisfied and I would definitely order from here again. Don't let the bad reviews stop you from trying it out.
google avatar

Natalie K.

Yelp
Ordered pad Thai, basil fried rice, and spicy tuna rolls - everything was super bland. Also got Thai iced tea, which was quite watery. Would not recommend.
google avatar

Jeremy A.

Yelp
Ordered on Seamless after seeing they had decent reviews... probably the worst 'Thai' food I've had in NY. Might as well have eaten the paper bag it came in to get the same amount of flavor. I'm done with these Sushi/Thai restaurants. Either do one or the other well instead of doing both terribly. The funny thing is that Thai & sushi are completely different cuisines. Would you go to a restaurant that specialized in BBQ and vegan food???
google avatar

Dandan Z.

Yelp
I love the lunch special. I always get the 3 maki rolls with a free soup. They add crunch, and the rolls are nicely made and good sized. Unlimited matcha green tea makes this place extra awesome. Lots of sushi under 15 including tip so that's not too bad!
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
I ordered the Tri colored sushi entree. The sushi was extremely fresh and was a great value! I rated this 4 stars because my Thai iced tea tasted watered down. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Abeer H.

Yelp
I came here because I needed quick take out and my friend lives just next door, and ordered their Ninja roll, which is a combo of different fish and unagi (my favourite) and it was just excellent - fresh and delicious and chockfull of yummy fish.
google avatar

Yvonne W.

Yelp
Good takeout sushi. We ordered several rolls. All fresh and good. The shumai, shrimp gyoza...all yummy. Will def order again.

J W.

Yelp
Meh. Average food and very little service. There were SEVERAL people standing around, but nobody greeted us until we said "Hi?" The lady took our ordered and disappeared until the food came ... and then disappeared again. Take note: the VEGETABLE dumpling soup has MEAT in the dumplings. Just ... not impressive or recommended.
