Ajijic Tango

Our first visit to Guadalajara, friends took us to Ajijic and Lake Chapala, a short drive from the city. Well worth the drive. We stopped in for a quick early dinner, delicious. A tamarindo margarita, grilled provoleta, grilled sweet breads, salmon raviolis and a skirt steak blue salad. What a treat! Good atmosphere and service.

The wait staff is very professional. The Lunch Specials are an excellent value and great tasting. The Lunch Specials are now $105 pesos but just as good as when it was $95 pesos.

BAIT & SWITCH False advertising. The management refused to honor there 95$ Early Bird special. they refused to honor their current AD, (Not a coupon!) How did I miss the "airy outdoor seating"?

Menu, food, and service all a disappointment. Ordered the zucchini spaghetti which is grouped under "pasta" on their menu. It is not pasta, its zucchini and cheese, I called the waiter, told him I was wanting pasta, and the item was listed under pasta therefore I was due pasta, he could not care less. Insult to injury, the zucchini & cheese was not good.

Food was really good, can’t tell same about cocktails, they can improve a bit more

Wonderful lunch specials and great attentive staff. Ambiance is lovely.

An all-around great experience for lunch. The large space is light and comfortable and decorated in an open, tropical way. Rolls served at seating were very good. Food was prepared perfectly and presented beautifully. Service was attentive and staff was friendly and helpful.
