We recently hosted two weddings in our family at Saray Hotel — my sister’s and my brother’s — and the experience was extremely disappointing.
The planners assigned to us, Razan and Hajer, were uncoordinated and maaaaaaaany important details were mishandled. Communication was weak, and follow-ups were very very slow throughout both events.
What upset us the most was the complimentary sand writing with the bride and groom’s names. Even though it was a complimentary gesture, we were genuinely excited for it and it meant a lot to us. We confirmed it several times — yet for both weddings, it was simply not done. No explanation was given. It may seem small to them, but it mattered to us and was part of the memory we wanted to create.
For a venue that promotes itself as a wedding destination, this level of attention to detail is unacceptable. These are once-in-a-lifetime moments, and the service we received did not match the importance of the occasions.
I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously so future brides and families do not go through the same disappointment.
