I considered AKA my home away from home and I usually looked forward to my stay in the center of Beverly Hills , walking distance to everything ....|The staff is always friendly and eager to help, the 1 bedroom studio I usually get is huge. It has a sitting area, dining area, a full bathroom ,a powder room, a decently big kitchen and a laundry machine. The main issue this time is that the place was run down. They have not kept the place in good condition. Things were worn out and falling apart, sunken sofas, fuzz on the upholstered headboard, chewed on baseboard, pet stains everywhere, etc.... While the prices have stayed high, the place does not reflect the high end quality. The service was still friendly and the complimentary coffee in the morning is a nice touch. I would still want a clean and a new room. I cannot give it my GoldnAdvice seal of approval unless I hear it has been refurbished. And while they are refurbishing, they might want to add a magnifying ( at least 5 X) makeup mirror in the bathroom.

Warning: Thief present!!||||I'm writing this comment to ensure that future guests of this hotel remain cautious. I am aware that one comment will not affect the hotel's reputation and business significantly, but at least those who read this will take extra care of their personal belongings.||||I wish I didn't have to write such a comment, but things did not go as planned. My wife and I stayed at this hotel from June 15th to June 23rd. We originally planned to stay at the Four Seasons Hotel, but we chose this hotel because my brother had made a reservation here for September. I wish we hadn't.||||For the first time in her life, my wife forgot her rings in a hotel room. Ironically, it happened on the cleaning day. (This hotel only has cleaning service once a week on Wednesdays.) We left the hotel in the morning. When we returned around 5:00 PM, we noticed the rings were not on top of the drawer where we left them. We reported the situation to both the hotel management and the police. Initially, the hotel management and staff did not seem very concerned (until we made a big deal out of it), mentioning that such a problem had never occurred before and that their staff had been with them for 6-7 years. Since the rings were not in the safe but on the drawer, we had no proof. The thief, who was the cleaner, took full advantage of this situation. That was why she dared to commit the theft. Afterwards, the hotel management calmly tried to talk us down, and the meeting ended. (I assume they thought we were making up this story to get a refund, but we are not the kind of people to blame others or lie. We don't need the money either.)||||The general manager said that without proof, they couldn't blame the employee, but they understood our situation. As a businessman, I understand this perspective and way of thinking. However, if I were in his position, I would definitely make a gesture to satisfy the customer, which he chose not to do. Maybe, as I mentioned above, he didn't want to believe us because the easiest and least stressful solution for the whole hotel was this, and the staff would keep their jobs. As a business owner who has dealt with numerous customer problems, I always stood by my customers, evaluated the situation with them, and made gestures. In my opinion, the hotel's approach was very inadequate. Problematic customers exist in every business, but we were not one of them. We tried to manage the process with calm and polite communication, not wanting to trouble anyone who was innocent. I also mentioned that we would have been sure not to encounter such a situation had we stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel.||||We estimate the total value of the rings to be about $20,000. Let the hotel management and staff continue to delude themselves. But one thing I am sure of as my own name: that cleaner is a thief! Everyone be careful and never leave your valuable personal belongings in an open place!||||Kind Regards,||Oguzhan

We stayed 10 days at aka Beverly Hills and couldn't have been happier! My husband had spine surgery, so I was coming and going alone. Each return to aka was like "coming home"... only better! The staff welcomed me, parked my car, carried my groceries, made sure I had what I needed.

I was visiting my friend at PH17 last night. I left my car with a valet around 10 pm and got it back at 12 am. By the time I got home I've realized that a fob that gives me access to my apartment building and my apartment is missing from the keychain which was obviously lost while the valet was attaching a ticket to my keychain (completely unnecessary). Every lockout in my building is $125 and the cost of a new key is $150. When I gave a call to AKA, the front desk manager didn't even know which valet man worked during that shift, which is already a red flag - how can you not know members of your stuff? After that, they promised to give me a call today which obviously never happened. I had to make my way to Beverly Hills again to talk to another front desk manager Yasmin (Jasmine?), who couldn't say anything besides the fact that some time in the near future they will look at the security cameras (which completely doesn't make sense because how can you see a small black key fob in the middle of the night?). Neither of the managers even bothered to pretend that they're trying to help nor I could get a reimbursement for a new key I had to get from my building. A very luxury and upscale enterprise :) Never coming back and please read the negative reviews about the rooms they're all true. UPDATE: this review got deleted from Yelp :)))))

Yelp
I cannot say enough great things about this location in Beverly Hills. The staff is amazing! The manager Christina even found me a private chef, hair stylist, and more! Josh, Philippe, Matt, Mahogany, are the best I love waking up to see them. I could definitely live here forever. The units are more like apartments with concierge service! Thanks Aka!!!

Yelp
Sheyenne is a scam, she tried to have me pay her directly and after hours in the DL a commission of 10% in order to give me a discount, I couldn't hold it and decided ti write this review, besides the fact that she tried taking me off Airbnb platform which is against the rules, she then tried taking advantage of meneeds to be fired from the place, she plays some scammy games and is super rude too and unprofessional, I would fire her if I was the management in such a nice place in Beverly Hils. Don't recommend

Yelp
Very nice property and staff at front desk very nice (especially Ricardo and Carlos). Walls in room dirty and found false eyelashes on our sofa. Because of covid we brought our own cleaning supplies thankfully. Gym is not open for guest to use and Spago not open for delivery only pick up on Friday and Saturday. Whole Foods right down the street which is very convenient. No bowls for salad- make sure to bring. Considering the current situation this is a ok location- no pool but nice outdoor space

Yelp
They hate dogs in this hotel, most likely because the hotel caters to dog-haters from the Mid East. You cannot go to the garden or any grass area with your dog (see pics). However, when we booked our stay, the hotel manager misrepresented this and told us that "we are a dog friendly hotel"

Yelp
Classic modern luxury elegance is how I would describe this property. It's private residence are ranked one of the top apartments and extended stay venues worldwide. For the luxe residence experience without the fuss. This property is in Beverly Hills close to all the shopping and key attractions. Also not too far away from the beach in Santa Monica. The best that the Westside of LA has to offer. With great amenities such as a conference room, media room, gym, and rooftop seating! The staff are friendly and are always ready to help or assist with the guest needs. Including concierge services to help you plan your stay. They have complimentary coffee and tea daily in the lobby from 6am-11am. Tasty coffee! An excellent choice for your stay in the famous Beverly Hills neighborhood. Even though it's in a busy area, once you are inside it is quiet! You are in your own world with no outside disturbance. The modern style and design is fashionable and classic. Clean lines with Zen eastern influence minimalist decor and esthetic.

Yelp
I have been to this place several times and I think this is an absolutely amazing location in an amazing place to stay if feels like you are staying in a home or an apartment and not like a small hotel room if you have kids or a large number of people in your family that you were staying together with this is great it's right in the heart of Beverly Hills walking distance to lot of restaurants and shopping and the service is very good at this place as well

Yelp
Attended a business meeting at the terrace and the location was beautiful. Hotel staff were very professional and courteous. They had coffee and tea bar that's complimentary for the guest. It was 8pm when I got a cup of their coffee and it's still good.

Yelp
I was blown away by the location/staff/amenities offered by AKA Beverly Hills. From the first moment I walked in the door, I was treated with the utmost professionalism and felt at home immediately. Anything I could need I could get and Michael, Zachary and Liz made sure it happened, no matter what time it was. I would stay at any of AKA's locations, if they are anything like the one in Beverly Hills.
