I and my wife had a good time at the Akagera Safari. We were excited to have seen 4 out of the big 5, the Leopard we learnt is stealth and nocturnal. Great safari experience, good driver/guide, refreshing stop-over and a really quality time. For us it was value for money.

Amazing Safari with Primates Eyes Safaris! Visiting Akagera National Park with Primates Eyes Safaris was the highlight of our trip to Rwanda! The guides were professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. We saw lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and so much more. The experience was smooth, well-organized, and truly unforgettable. If you’re heading to Rwanda, don’t miss Akagera — and go with Primates Eyes Safaris!

I have been twice now, and as far as Safaris go, both Safaris were underwhelming, even boring. It's a pretty park. But it is not always easy to find the animals. I think they probably need more roads and accessibility to different places. It is tricky because a good part of it is swampy. You are likely to see some Impala, buffalo, Topi, zebra, maybe some giraffes. Elephants are hit or miss, saw a bunch 500 meters away in an inaccessible area). Lions, good luck. Rhinos, maybe (managed to spot a pair before they were completely obscured by the tall brush). You might have fun, you might be bored in a safari vehicle.

Amazing. Just amazing. We saw 4/5 big five. Just missed the leopard but we knew it was hard to spot them. Really amazing guide and driver, Christophe and Emanuele and the boat ride was also stunning. Just do yourself a favor and get a guide. Help the local economy and get a better experience.

Incredible conservation work being done at akagera. We saw plenty of animals during our 7 hour visit. Recommend visiting with an extremely experienced guide, as roads can be challenging to navigate, particularly during rainy season.
