Yelp
The main chain competitor to Itae Mae Sushi in Akasaka. Both are great but this month all month it's two for one on the tuna, salmon and a few others. Count me in. Excellent and at a big value. The average quality in these sushi chains are most likely a level or more above upscale places in bi us cities. Of course, Akasaka has some of the best sushi restaurants in Japan which are quite expensive. So, you can't go wrong here especially with the August specials...

Yelp
A friend from work took me here because we wanted an alternative to places that only served sushi and Kobe beef. To enter the restaurant, we had to take an elevator. But once there, they seated us at the bar and we nestled in for a feast. It was awesome. My friend ordered a la carte several items that included all parts of the chicken. We had skin, thigh, breast, as well as salad, egg and other assorted vegies. And to top that off, we drank several glasses of an excellent sake, Kakurei. Me being a gaijin, soaked it all in. I loved how they filled the sake to the brim, I had to sip it down before lifting the glass. If you dont want sushi, and not in the mood for fatty kobe beef, get yourself down here. It's right in the Akasata district across from hotel excel.
