This is one of the most honest places that I have ever shopped at. Freddy and George are two of the most educated people in the business and yet they are so down to earth and helpful that it is so easy to do business with them. Not only are their prices very very competitive but the quality of the merchandise they offer is at the highest level.

The Diamond District has a variety of stores and it can be overwhelming or difficult for people to find “the” place where you know you will walk away with what you are looking for and be taken care of. My experience was amazing here. I cannot only speak for myself, but for my family, which over the years have dealt with Akay Diamonds and regard it as a reputable store. Freddy and George helped me and my fiancé find our wedding bands, as well as my engagement ring. They are experts at what they do. Without a doubt, I strongly recommend you to go to them! Not only is their selection fine, but also the finest service! Thank you Freddy and George!

George was wonderful during my experience in shopping for an engagement ring. He never pressured me at any point and kept me informed throughout the entire process. There was a slight hiccup but thanks to great communication George was able to correct the issue and provide a stunning ring. Would not hesitate to do business again.

I purchased a morganite stone engagement ring from AKAY Diamonds. They are very professional and they even custom made the ring because no one in the area has what I was looking for. Also they worked with my budget and the ring was amazing!! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a ring or jewelry!

What seemed to be a good experience and an accomadating and customer centric business ultimately proved to be a group of liars and deceitful con artists. I would never do business here after seeing the lack of professionalism the first time around where i have never felt such an insulting sensation deriving from the already degrading sentiment of an individual wasting my time without regard for my personal agenda. They must not have a sensible bone in the shop and to see the utter chaos that exists in there and no direction or leadership is a corrolary to the dissatisfaction that myself and others basked in when leaving the dirty feeling environment that crawls up your back within their walls. I think you get the picture at by now that I am beyond angry and am far from a fan who would go as far to say is a public advocate against the business that these cowards practice.

We went there yesterday and had an amazing time with Freddy picking a diamond. Trustworthy and patient. I may be buying from them so I’ll let you know if anything changes. Highly recommend for now :)

Very classy, it’s hard to shop in the diamond district without being overwhelmed and getting FOMO, but after shopping with them and then another jeweler who promised better prices, these guys are way better.

George has qualities that make him rarer than any stone on 47th street : his honesty and realness. High quality diamonds sold by high quality people.
