This place made me so happy!! Everything was delicious!! The curry pan was soooo flavoursome and the fluffy crispy outside bread was chewy and yum. The matcha eclair was tooooo die for! I came back the next day because it was so good but they were closed which was heartbreaking

Google
I love to go Aki but I lately I feel like the quality just drop. I bought salmon onigiri after 1 big bite I haven't find the salmon. Its too sadddd there is only few salmon flakes inside and the rice is harder than usual and dry. I also took matcha latte I noticed it taste really less sweet and I love it. I will keep going there anyway because the rest of the food are really good especially Mochi matcha I just hope you keep on the quality

Google
An authentic Japanese bakery. They have the biggest variety I've ever seen of melon pan. I got ebi fry onigiri and strawberry burger melon pan. They were so fresh and tasty. The staff were very patient with me because I had so many coins and I wanted to pay using all of them. Prices were very good. The portions are enough to make you full. I'll be back again to try more of their food.

Google
The matcha latte was okay for the price, but my friends and I got a burger melon pain, and chocolate, and it was not our best food experience. The bread cost 6 euros, and it was very mediocre, if not bad, considering that we heard reviews saying that the burger melon bread was good. When me and my friend and I took the first bite, we both frowned. I expected the brown cream to be chocolate but met with a very strange taste that we couldn't even make out if it was honey, chocolate, or cafe, which was strange because the bread’s name was chocolate. They put crystal sugar, instead of powdered sugar layer on top of the bread which felt odd to eat. It took 5 bites for us to finally see the chocolate part of the bread which was the tiny dark part underneath and it wasn't even chocolate cream but hard chocolate— once again, felt odd to eat because 95% filling was soft cream. Me and my friend couldn't even finish one bread because we didn't like its taste. Overall, I think it was a waste of money buying this bread and a 2 euro pain au chocolat from a random boulangerie would taste better.

Google
Authentic Japanese bakery, a must visit every time I’m in Paris. The curry bun was still warm, everything is freshly made and great quality

Google
I heard the reduced of cake size after 6 months but I still love it and this is the place for comforting myself with matcha flavors <333 the service tdy with the new girl I guess and she is very nice and calm ☺️

Google
The best pastry/sweet I had in the last week of Paris was a melon pan from this place. Do not sleep on this store, RUN to the Melon-pan. It even better than most I've had in Japan

Google
Had a quick snack at this Japanese bakery, it was so yummy and very efficient service by the nice ladies at the counter. Got my matcha fix in Europe while I was here and I was very delighted to stumble upon this cute shop.

Yelp
I really liked this bakery! If this was where I lived I would go so often (I already do for the other Asian bakeries I really like). I'm glad I went here while on vacation. My favorite items was the black sesame melon pan and matcha tiramisu. I went close to Halloween so the black sesame had eyes and it just really looked cure! I love black sesame and I liked how strong the flavor was. The matcha cream was a really nice touch to it too and enhanced the black sesame flavor. The matcha tiramisu had a lot of matcha on top! It paired super well with the cream. I definitely want to try making my own if I can. I only got a small bit of the cocoa melonpan but it was also really good! It had a chocolate filling in the middle. The bakery had a lot of bakery items on display so you'll definitely find at least one thing you like! There was also a decent-sized drink menu there too that are pretty good!

Yelp
This is a Japanese inspired French bakery around a 10-15 minute walk from the Louvre. We were so excited to have so many Japanese options in Paris! The cafe also offers reasonably priced ready to go meals, such as katsu curry, bento boxes, and sandwiches. One of their popular items is the Matcha Melon Pain, which is a matcha bun with cream inside. It was so soft and delicious! Wish I ordered more pastries! The matcha latte is also very good. Small cafe with limited bar seating, best suited for takeout. Note that there is Aki cafe directly across the street, which is a sit down restaurant.

Yelp
I came to Aki's to buy breakfast when I was visiting Paris and really enjoyed their Japanese and fusion baked goods, especially the latter. I found their fusion items to be really unique like the kinako twisted donut, black sesame cookie, black sesame flan and mochi beignets. You could really taste the mochi filling in the beignets (they were honestly more like croquettes than actual beignets) and they were generously stuffed with different filling flavors like matcha and red bean. As someone who likes black sesame, I liked that they had so many black sesame options among their many pastries. Unfortunately, the way you order pastries is that an employee at the counter will pull the pastries you want from the counter display and works your way down like an assembly line. It was very crowded when I went and since I don't live in Paris to come to this bakery often, I wanted to take my time reading through all the options (especially since I don't know how to read French and needed to ask for translating a lot) but I felt the employee was rushing me to pick which pastries I wanted to buy. Also, the way they pack the pastries is they just stuff them into paper bags and throw them into a plastic bag that they charge you extra for. I felt like whichever pastry was at the bottom of my bag was getting crushed by the weight of the ones on top. Wish they would pack in a box so that they're all not crushing each other.

Yelp
Service is very nice. Plenty of seating. Great for breakfast and munch items. They also have rice triangles (with savory fillings like tuna, salmon, etc.). I would recommend this place.

Yelp
We tried an assortment of pastries at Aki Boulanger. All were delicious. The matcha latte was memorable. It's the perfect amount of sugar and viscosity. Truly one of the best I've ever had. I docked one star because their available pastry selection was inconsistent (we visited multiple times around the same time throughout our trip) and the espresso was very bitter.

Yelp
A unique and yummy boulangerie! This is a Japanese French boulangerie which offers a bunch of ready-made food and other pastries. We got the chicken katsu as well as a red bean beignet. The chicken was delicious - sauce was perfect, and the chicken was juicy. I also loved the beignet! The red bean filling was spot on and the dough was nice and soft without being overly sweet - best Asian dessert complement :) This was such an unexpected find but so great! They have limited seating inside and outside, but we managed to get a table outside and took advantage of the sunny day.

Yelp
Small shop with a few treats to pick from. Pricey for the pink burger in photo but it was worth it. Delicious.

Yelp
I'm so glad I researched for boulangeries like this around Louvre before I came here. The selection is immense, French-inspired Japanese boulangerie where you can get matcha beignets, melon pains. I got matcha croissant with almond filling, it was sooo good. Service was amazing, so kind and friendly. I got a latte which was extremely good too. I wish I had gone back to this place and tried their other stuff.

Yelp
enjoyable mochis, stuffed beignets, yuzu cheesecake, classic red bean strawberry, also some french japanese fusion. stop by for dessert after ramen on this block

Yelp
If I had enough money (and patience), I would catch a train to Paris every day just for this bakery. I had researched this company for a project I did for my class a while back, and had been determined to try it. However, my first attempt was unsuccessful, because I hadn't done my research and didn't know they were closed on Sundays. I went back a second time and got TWO cakes as a sort of revenge (for myself) and I wish I could have gotten more. The prices are average for a high-quality bakery in Paris, and just like most places, they up-charge if you want to eat in. I got the Yuzu Mille Crepe (4,80 take out or 5,30 eat in) and the Mont Blanc (5,50 take out or 6 eat in) . I am a die-hard fan of Mont Blancs, and I. was. absolutely. blown. a. WAYYY. The cream was the perfect softness, the inside was filled with a slightly sweetened whipped cream, and the center contained a generous clump of chestnut cream. The bottom, unlike traditional mont blancs, was a sponge cake. The Yuzu Mille Crepe was phenomenal as well. The crepe itself was soft, thin, supple, and the perfect thickness to soak up just a little bit of the yuzu cream hidden between each layer. The bottom layer was a yuzu sponge cake with little bits of yuzu inside, which gave it an extra oomph. Both cakes were superb, and I really doubt I will find anything else during my time in France as good as these cakes. I can't wait to come back and try more!! & a lil irrelevant side note, I love that most of the workers here are Japanese! It really made me feel like I was back home - they were all so sweet and answered any question I had.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick breakfast. I got several pastries and two lattes for myself and a friend. I made the mistake of ordering to-go and our other friend wanted to sit down and eat so she ordered her items for here. They were extremely strict about this so we ended up having to tell them that we would not eat or drink our items. We ended up just snacking on the "for here" items quickly and then stepped out to eat the pastries outside. This is understandable because of the tax difference between eating in and taking the items to go. Just an FYI. Food and drinks were a-okay. You bus the tables yourself.
google avatar

Kevin K.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast and we tried assorted Onigiris, matcha crème brûlée, black sesame cornet, sakura mochi pain, and a matcha latte. They were all really tasty although more filling and less rice on the Onigiri would have been great. The matcha crème brûlée was excellent. I'll definitely come back to try a few more pastries like the yuzu eclair or the matcha cheesecake before the end of my trip.

Yelp
Right in the heart of Japantown/Little Tokyo, Aki Boulanger often has a line outside the door. You can choose to eat in or eat out, they have a window counter space as well as tables outside. Regrettably I didn't get a chance to try the packaged meals, even though everything looked amazing. Pastries on the other hand did all taste great, with especially strong authentic matcha flavors. Loved the matcha latte! My friend got addicted to the curry beignets, which are definitely a specialty. It's worth getting one and checking it out - an interesting combination of sweet and savory. Other pastries are on the savory side as well, or at least not extremely sweet. Definitely popular with tourists and locals.

Caitlin G.

Yelp
Somehow managed to satiate both my desires of French pastries and matcha. Bought the matcha melon pain and the matcha eclair. Workers were very patient with me, despite my indecision. Delighted by both desserts i bought. My friend also enjoyed her treat. As she lives in France, she will be returning.

Yelp
I heart Aki! An amazing selection of French, Japanese, and Frenchanese pastries. They have a variety of bento boxes; the karaage (fried chicken) is super hearty. I have also had their Yuzu Eclair, Matcha Cornet, and Goma Pudding - all of which are tres delicieux ! Next time, I would love to try the Gyouza Sandwich. You can take-out and eat-in as well. My sister and I sat in for a cafe au lait. There's seating in the basement too, which is a little more relaxing than the hustle and bustle upstairs. Can't wait to go back !

Yelp
I don't know what I was expecting in the Traditional bakery/pastry scene in France, but my overall impression was that I think I expected more. I have always been a fan of Asian/French fusion bakeries the most, being raised on these types of places where I grew up. Aki's was a huge WIN for me, in terms of the selection and the quality of the goods. I did not buy any of the savory bento foods or sushi-ritto, but enjoyed trying 3 or 4 bun type treats that I truly enjoyed. I had a bun filled with cream which was fresh, sweet, and airy, not to dense or hard to eat. Other one was the plum and shiso leaf with a mochi layer inside the bun. YUM!
google avatar

Zhelu J.

Yelp
Tried their matcha opera cake. Wayyyyy to hard and a bit too sweet for matcha pastries :/ do not recommend. 3 stars for their wide range of choices and nice presentation of the cakes.
google avatar

Tinesi P.

Yelp
The bakery is receiving only 1 star because the tea and food was okay but the service was off! When I got there I purchased a sandwich (that came to 7 or 8 euros) and I went outside to seating. One of the workers came out and said you must leave, you can't stay because you didn't spend 10 euros. Go now! I looked at others around me who only had coffee, I felt it was because I'm a person of color. I had no issues with other cafes and restaurants in Paris rushing me out because I didn't spend 10 euros. I didn't see the waitress do that to anyone else who were tourist too but no ones of color. I'll never eat anything from here again on my next trip to Paris.

Yelp
I would skip the bread here (I've tried their baguettes, pain fromage, and pain fromage et tomato sauce) but their drinks and pastries are very good! The prices are different based on whether you eat in or eat out. They are very strict about this!! They are the sister bakery of Aki across the street so they even have prepackaged lunches like katsu dons and other Japanese foods. They have limited seating outside but two floors of seating inside. My favorite treats are the matcha ice latte, matcha tiramisu, matcha cream cake (best best best), matcha cream puff. As for prices, they are slightly more expensive than your typical neighborhood bakery but the place is a fusion of Japanese and French flavors so it's totally worth it.
google avatar

Alex ..

Yelp
We stopped here for some pastries while we were waiting for the udon restaurant across the street to open. They do have a wide choice of selection but nothing really stood out for us. Their version of beignets were dense like donuts, not fluffy like we have here in the States. In addition, they charge extra fee if you want to dine-in.
google avatar

Anh N.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me by a friend, and if you are from SoCal, don't bother. We're spoiled by the many Japanese bakeries in Little Tokyo, Torrance, etc. so that this one was nothing special. We came early in the morning prior to our trip to the Louvre and had a matcha melon pan and some kind of pizza bun. Neither tasted very fresh. The flavors were fine, and it was a nice enough place to sit and rest. There didn't seem to be a lot of selection when we went. I'd skip this one.
google avatar

Gabrielle K.

Yelp
My friend and I came here just for coffee and dessert, but their bento boxes looked so good that we ended up canceling our lunch reservations to eat here! We tried the katsu sandwiches as well as the donkatsu box - everything was so yummy that we contemplated coming back the next day. Lots of tourists, but also a ton of French people who dropped by to eat a quick lunch. Their iced coffee was decent, and the melon matcha pastry was delicious.
google avatar

Arbine V.

Yelp
This has to be my favorite bakery in Paris. Amazing French & Japanese pastries and drinks. If you love matcha, you must get the matcha au lait. Oh and their curry bread is fantastic. The staff is extremely friendly and it just smells like heaven in there. Go. You won't regret it.
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
This is my favorite place in the world!! I didn't have the opportunity to try their bread, but the macarons, matcha cake, and eclairs are amazing. Matcha sweets are on my list of favorite things to eat, so I may be biased. But unlike most matcha sweets I get in LA, all these desserts were very flavorful and had a good texture! I came here twice on my trip to Paris. Definitely worth the trip over here since it's not too far from the Louvre. We walked over and stopped by a few other bakeries on the way!
google avatar

Christine B.

Yelp
Wonderful Japanese bakery in Paris. There's a lot of matcha pastries/baked goods and it's all so so good. Different and less artificial from NY bakeries. Few items to try: red bean donut, matcha strawberry muffin, matcha melon and the matcha crepe cake. Don't forget about the rice balls, katsu sandwich and rice bowls. Great for a quick stop for lunch or on the go. I wish I had 10 stomachs to try everything here! Looking forward to come back!
google avatar

Chaseit O.

Yelp
Japanese pastries anyone ? I'm into "pain melon", and guess what? They have plenty there: green tea, chocolate or just plain. Also there at some great green tea cake, and some season pastries. You can eat on site or take away. Definitively a must discover and a must go!!
google avatar

Sandra N.

Yelp
How would I survive without Aki! I admit it I'm a green tea addict so this place is like heaven for me. They have everything from Green tea tiramisu to green tea bread here... And they also prepare bento at a fair price (between 7.5 and 8.5 euros). Everytime I'm in the opera area I don't forget to get my weekly sweets here. Love it!
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Decided to drop by to pick up something matcha flavored after many friends' recommendations. I got a matcha eclair while my friend got the kabuki, the green tea opéra. The eclair was very delicious, with just the right amount of filling that was not too sweet. As for the kabuki, my friend kept saying "fluffy" and "luxurious" between bites. Service is uncharacteristically good here, in a city full of boulangeries where getting a smile can take months of conversation and visits. Prices are pretty standard, and there are many many choices for your green tea/Azuyu flavored fix.

Yelp
Food:This is a Japanese bakery/cafe. They offer pre-packaged warm meals like curry. And lots of pastries. But the food was just mediocre. Was excited to visit a Japanese style bakery but was disappointed. Visited 23 June 2017.

Yelp
Great local bakery with Japanese and some fusion type baked goods, line moves quickly, macha latte is great. Great service. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This is my first yelp review ever, so here goes... On our way to the Louvre this morning around 10:30am, my boyfriend and I decided that we should probably get a snack before getting to the Louvre. We stumbled upon Aki and was drawn in by the displays of different pastries and bread. The area surrounding this bakery seemed like we may have stumbled upon a mini JTown in Paris. The ladies working there seemed to all be Japanese and spoke Japanese and French. I used my broken French to see if they spoke some English and the lady that was helping us said she could speak a little. With the language barrier, she was still patient enough to help us as we ordered a bunch of snacks. We ordered two hot dog beignets, a Matcha cookie, a slice of berry cheesecake, and a Matcha au lait. Hot dog beignet - It was crunchy on the outside and had curry flavor in the breading. The curry wasn't too overpowering which was good but I had expected it to be warm, but it was cold. I didn't fancy it too much. Matcha cookie - I LOVE Matcha and the cookie hit the spot. I was worried because I initially broke off a piece and it felt like it could have been a hard cookie but biting into it... it had just the right amount of chewiness. There was a good amount of matcha flavoring so I could definitely taste it. Berry cheesecake - The texture was definitely a little fluffier and less smooth. It felt a little healthier to me and not so much cream cheese tasting as I am used to. It almost tasted a little milkier more than cheesy and the berries were plentiful. However, it did not taste like the cheesecakes I am used to. Matcha au lait - This was delicious. Just the right amount of Matcha and milkiness and sweetness to gulp down. Overall, I think they were on point with the Matcha flavored drink and cookie. However, the beignet and cheesecake were nothing to drool over.
google avatar

CJ L.

Yelp
On my last trip to Paris I stopped by here to try it out and had what, to this day, is the best beignet variation I've ever had. Perfectly light and fluffy with a nice sugary coating on the outside and a well proportioned filling of apple - I haven't had anything quite comparable since in the states. (And believe me, I've looked.) Came back first thing in the morning (right when they opened) before I had to catch a plane, but regrettably they had not made any yet. I'll be back on of these days, and I'll be sure to try some of the other delicious looking items they produce here as well.
google avatar

Eric L.

Yelp
Bomb, get the matcha eclair and mochi. Just make sure to come at least a few hours before closing since a lot of the baked goods will be gone by the end of the day.

Diem N.

Yelp
This was my favorite place to get pastries in Paris, but the owner is incredibly hostile and rude. My husband and I went here for our honeymoon and loved their cream puffs so much that we made a day trip there 2 years later from London just to get the cream puffs again. We stopped in to get a few with our two year old daughter and took her to Palais-Royal. We returned about an hour later to get more treats for the train ride back and while we waited for our Uber, we let our daughter sit down for a few minutes. The owner came out and started berating me because of the no tax for to go orders. Ok, we get it! We're stupid Americans and we forgot. You don't need to yell at people and belittle your customers just over a couple euros. Get some class.
google avatar

Yelp
Aki alone makes me wish I lived in Paris. What's better than a French bakery? A Japanese-French bakery! Oh my goodness...heaven. They have such a wide array of unique sandwiches and pastries that one would never get tired of eating here. On the left you have a small selection of casual pastries. These include raisin buns and some Japanese-inspired goods like green tea matcha buns with red bean filling. There is a cold-food section that has white bread sandwiches and other takeaway items. In the case you will find cool desserts such as green tea tiramisu and blueberry Japanese cheesecakes. They look so simple yet so good! They also have fresh onigiri with more interesting flavors than I have ever encountered in my life. I got one with some sort of stewed pork...it was fantastic. The sandwiches appealed to me the most. Instead of the typical baguettes, you have baguettes with chicken karaage, tonkatsu, gyoza (dumplings! odd sandwich filling), and even yakisoba (noodles! noodles in a sandwich!). I wish I remembered more but hopefully this will just make you want to take a trip of your own here! Best part about Aki is that it is reasonably priced so you don't feel like you are splurging for some sort of "experience". Even their coffee is good and cheaper than other cafes. Additional bonus : the friendly workers help it maintain a nice sense of humility and comfort for patrons.

Yelp
I don't really have much to say about this place, other than the fact that everything here is great! The latte was amazing! The eclair was amazing The cakes were amazing The bread was amazing!! I love this place! It was just a little hard to find!

Yelp
3.5 stars - during my two months of study abroad in Paris, I made numerous trips to Aki for lunch. At first I loved it (as a huge fan of matcha), but as I had the chance to experience more and more boulangeries and pâtisseries (Sadaharu Aoki in particular), Aki fell down the priority list a bit. It's definitely good, but a bit overrated in my opinion. I tried: Melon pain (2.20 - 2.80€): My favorite item from Aki, and I don't know of any other boulanger in Paris who makes it, which is really a shame. They are small round buns, lightly sweetened with a brioche-like consistency on the inside, but a bit fluffier, less dense and buttery. The top is my favorite part, crunchy and reminiscent of a cookie. I think I tried pretty much all of the flavors, and the matcha (with white chocolate chunks) and strawberry were my favorites. Perfect amount of sweetness, terrific texture. Matcha cookie (2.50€): green tea cookie with white chocolate chunks, very straightforward. Great flavor combination, the sweet white chocolate went very well with the bitter matcha, which is very pronounced. They definitely aim for crispy/crumbly cookies rather than soft, chewy ones, but are generally very good. Aki-Brest (3.70€): open-faced pâte à choux (éclair-type puff pastry) split lengthwise with a red bean mousseline piped inside, dusted in matcha powder. I had this a few times and liked it at first, but on later tries I wasn't a fan of the choux pastry, which was a bit dry, with the consistency of having absorbed too much air. The red bean mousseline tastes great and is the perfect level of sweetness, but I found the texture a bit too greasy, the kind that leaves an unpleasant feeling on your lips and tongue after you eat it. Yuzu & Matcha éclairs (3.20€): Really liked the yuzu, which was just tart enough, but I thought the matcha flavor wasn't very pronounced in the matcha crème. As opposed to the Aki-Brest, the choux pastry in their eclairs was consistently good, just a tiny bit crunchy without being at all soggy or doughy, really appreciate the restraint in using sugar. In the end, still a very good choice, and I'm rounding up for the incredibly kind, efficient, and courteous service (without exception!)

Yelp
The green tea cake (kabuki) is probably the best dessert I've ever had in my life. I am not hyperbolizing.

Adrianna G.

Yelp
Oh my god. That curry hot dog. Beignet dough with curry spices wrapped around a hot dog. I came back just to eat it again. I'll repeat what a negative review said - I was surprised by how much was sold out around 9:30am both times. Options were limited, which is how I tried that curry dog in the first place.
google avatar

Connie L.

Yelp
I am so mad I only found this amazing Boulanger halfway into my Paris trip. Absolutely the best pastries I've have in Paris. Hands down. I'm in love with the strawberry melon bread and the curry croquette. I pretty much enjoyed everything else they had as well. I am so upset that I was not able to make another trip to Aki Boulanger before I left. It seems that due to the language barrier they told me they were open on Sunday (I'm guessing when i said Sunday they thought 'samedi' which is Saturday in French) but they were closed.... so just a note/tip to everyone traveling to Paris, most places are closed on Sundays, and Sunday kinda sounds like Saturday in French. Their pastries will forever be in my memories. I have no idea when I'll have a chance to go back again so please for the love of god don't close anytime in the next 50 years!!!!

Yelp
My husband and I came here Friday July 3, 2015. We came early and sat outside while we waited for our driver to take us to the train station to head to Amsterdam. We got a great seat out front and I ordered a Cafe crema and a blueberry muffin. I asked for the girl to heat it and she did. It was incredibly delicious and so was the coffee, nice and strong. My husband got a drink and a sandwich. We sat and watched the action happening on the street, it was pretty great and relaxing. PROS: - good location - beautiful on outside - good variety of sweet treats - great coffee - nice staff and quick CONS: - gotta go down 2 flights of tight stairs to get to the bathroom/toilets - not a good variety for breakfast beside sweet cakes and treats - priced a little high
google avatar

Yelp
Cool boulangerie in j-town. Found the matcha latte to be over priced (4eu) but the sandwiches are delicious and the price is a steal especially for le 1er (3.5-9eu). Quick service, clean environment and so many deserts we look forward to trying next time.
google avatar

Teri B.

Yelp
Pretty darn expensive. Had the matcha green tea over ice. Meh. They also don't have any dairy alternatives which gets pretty low scores in my book, especially for this day and age. Only reason I went ahead was because it was Matcha! Very expensive 4euros for a tiny drink. Honestly, we couldn't afford anything else. Also tried to buy a cake at one point, 30e? no thanks. Try the other patisseries in the area. Julian for cakes and Paul for anything else.

Yelp
Paris' second quarter is incredible. It's like a second home of Japan. The Aki bakery basically is a place where you will want every baked good. It also sells savoury snacks. What an awesome area and has every type of matcha (my current obsession) you can think of! Love it here.
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
We visited Aki Boulanger around 8:30 AM on a Saturday. Everything I can find, says they open at 7:30 AM. Either they sold out of nearly everything immediately (unlikely since we hardly saw anyone walking around on the streets nearby) or they didn't have everything set out yet. The selection of baked goods really left a lot to be desired. They had maybe a handful of options and well over half of the display case was empty. This was particularly disappointing since I'd seen so many pictures of delicious looking pastries and wanted to try some of their macarons. If you like matcha, I highly recommend visiting later in the morning or in the early afternoon. As for my visit, the people working were friendly but the selection of baked goods was nearly non-existent. 2 stars.

Yelp
Go here. Try the matcha melon pastry. It tastes like the best green tea ice cream I've ever had concentrated in doughy goodness. The woman at the counter was phenomenal. In the range of one minute, I heard her speak French, English, and Japanese.

Yelp
More like a 2-star but since Sadaharu got a 2-star, Aki has to get a 1... sorry :( I was very disappointed after reading all the reviews here. I got a: - green tea/red bean half loaf: super bland and tasteless and dry - a curry pork pan: soggy and not enough pork - matcha latte (as recommended by at least one reviewer here): WAY too hot/burnt, no microfoam and bland as well I looked at all of their sandwiches and the rave reviews about them -- you must be joking because they all look soggy and "hungry" for more fillings in between the bread. Their other desserts that were displayed that day didn't look great either. Their restaurant across the street on the other hand -- I LOVED.

Yelp
I love this shop! Their cakes are so beautiful and delicious! The waitresses are also friendly and nice! I always go there to buy some Japanese fast food and cakes when I'm nearby! Yakisoba-pan is good, Mocha-pan is great, and I love the sakura cheesecake. Same as the one I ate in Japan.

Yelp
In love! The baked goods and cakes were amazing. The curry buns are my favorite. One thing I am not accustomed to is that restaurants charge you to dine at their venue? If you order items to go your bill will be cheaper.
