Really nice place with great staff. We went to Brunei and back and they kept our bags and were really great in organising an early morning airport transfer. Got some good sleep here, though it is worth noting they are right on Gaya Street. Fantastic location but if you have a city view room, you will get the noise of the market and everyone taking apart their stalls to go home until quite late night and then the market on a Sunday morning they set up from very early. Simple but great breakfast and nice common area

It was a good hostel. We had a private room and it had everything we needed. Bit noisy at night but we were tired so it didn’t matter. Simple but good breakfast in the morning too

All I can say is this is the best backpacker I've seen around kk. Spacious dorm room and spacious common room. Initially just planning to stay 1 day and try other backpackers but eventually Ive stayed here for the whole week!😅 All the staff is super friendly and helpful with the activities I could do in Sabah, even the guests that are staying here is super friendly except for one couple😅, always complaining. But that's the beauty of backpacking! Its a great place to socialise with other backpackers around the world. The atmosphere here makes me feels at home.❤️ Breakfast is included for the stay even though its just a simple one with toast, egg and fruits but for the price I paid for it was worth it! Cleanliness here is also superb! They do daily cleaning and the place is always clean especially the toilet considering its a sharing toilet! Kudos to the cleaner and staff there! Security was also pretty tight, the staffs does'nt let anyone come in easily without any form of verification. This make me sleep soundly at night knowing nothing bad will happen while im out of my country. Location wise was also great! its nearby to bus station, pos office, durian street, night/morning market, the jetty and even the shopping mall by only a few minutes walking distance. There is also a lot of great restaurants around the hostel. The only downside is the dorm room is located on the 4th floor and without lift so if you are super large size and not active, this place is probably not the best place for you, better go hotel for easy access😅 Also if you don't like noises you should probably avoid staying here on the weekend cause the night & morning market is for the whole weekend! (Friday - Sunday)

We had a great one night stay here, really good location by night market and lots of cute coffee shops. Private room was spacious and clean. Shower was hot and powerful, with clean shared spaces. Common area was nice with sofa’s, free breakfast and drinking water. Staff very friendly :)

I chosen this hostel because of the reviews and also due to its location, on Gaya street. Popular location for night food market, Sunday market and easy access to city centre. It's a lovely place, good size rooms and has a good feel as you walk in. The beds abd pillows desperately needs replacing or at least use hygiene covers for beds and pillows. I slept in my sleeping bag but I still got bitten and it's not pleasant. Also it can do with a microwave, there is no where to heat up the food. Breakfast needs to be improved especially if you are paying for a room and been charged double. Offering 2 eggs per person will not bankrupt the owner. Some staff have a better level of English than others. Some of them will say yes but they didn't quite understand the request. So that can be a bit disappointing at times. I really hope that the city tax will go to the government and not the owner's pocket because it will make the stay more expensive than some other hotels in the area. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Very unhelpful hostel, not worth for money, we stay for 3nights and they put us at 4th floor and with NO lift! And they don’t give u access card , u need to press the bell every u returned to the hostel even in midnight! One only good thing here is the location with lots of good foods around!

Nice private room, great staff. Common room is airy and welcoming. Met some Interesting characters here! The breakfast was simple but everything was clean and they provided free water refills. ||||Shower room was OK, would have been nice if there was some soap available by the sinks, but otherwise it was fine. ||||My private room had a window and Aircon. Slept well, with very little roadside noise u til the morning.
