Akiyoshi Ikebukuro

Have been in Japan for 12 days and this was one of our favourite experiences. The food is delicious, the staff are very good, and the atmosphere is electric, hectic, & fun. Great value as well.

Simply great. The food, and the staff was superb. They have English speaking staff and English menus. A must go if you're in ikebukuro

Good quality yakitori at very reasonable prices. English menu available. People do smoke here so its not recommended if you are sensitive to the smell. Yakitori is put on a hot plate to ensure that it's warm. I try to come here on every trip to japan and it is always enjoyable.

Great food! The Japanese server was extremely nice, but the Chinese server was very unfortunately very unfriendly and unhelpful. It was a little smoky, but can't be helped because they are making yakitori.

Akiyoshi, a dinning specially produces Japan,s famous chicken dish, so called YAKITORI in Japan and overseas. The shop uses charcorr to boil materials. “Aka”, boiled chicken liver, is very delicious eating soaked in the special source, called “Tare”, and garlic topping for source is available by self-service if you like. I strongley promose you can enjoy a Japan,s Yakitori herein.

great place that uses charcoal with their grills. most skewers come in 5's; don't let that keep you from trying a lot though - they're all affordable and they go down easy. everything is grilled to order and whether it's with the tare or shio, you're bound to have a great time. it does get a little busy, though lines move quick.
