Let you pick Japanese Raw Rice. It has a small chilling Sake bar.

This store is a dream for food lovers. The gourmet version of many Japanese foods and ingredients can be found here. For example, they have countless varieties of rice, all organized by their various qualities, and they polish it for you. They even serve food in a small cafe attached to the store. Upstairs, there are kitchen goods and handcrafted serve ware. Almost everything is labeled in Japanese, however, so if you can’t read the language, it will be hard to know what to buy.

The lunch special with several dishes was incredible. Next time, I'd like to try afternoon tea and dessert here. The shop also has a great selection of food and houseware gifts. I would recommend buying a sampler of several different types of rice.

We were so thrilled about this place after eating our lunch. The tempura vegetables with sardines were so lightly battered and crispy. The store sold different types of rice and other ingredients. Check out the second floor for more kitchen supplies.

If you like rice and regional specialties this is the place for you! Akomeya is famous for their rice selection, from unpolished brown to white, but they do sell food, sweets, and tea, as well as selected kitchen and home supplies on the 2nd floor. In addition, you can dine in. I recommend the daily set of 9 seasonal small dishes with (of course) rice and miso. The price is around 2000 yen, so will not break the bank.
