Akoya Apartments

We moved into Akoya this June we had such a smooth move in with the help of Adam he is the BEST! We love the amenities and the community. All the residents are so friendly. The apartment is beautiful and maintenance is super responsive. We have had the best summer living downtown here. Definitely the nicest apartments we toured down in the Pearl. ~Kelly & Ryan

We got new management during the middle of my time living here and it made the place so much better. Adam and Mia in the front office are incredibly helpful, kind, and professional. I’ll miss seeing them regularly. Wyatt who does the maintenance also does a fantastic job, he’s an unsung hero. I lived here for just under 2 years and am only leaving because I am being moved by my job. Switching to new management massively improved this building!

We’ve lived here since Feb. of this year. The staff here is great! Adam who signed us up has been very helpful the whole time. The maintenance staff also been great and friendly. We recently had new management staff.we’ve seen positive improvements in the building and shared areas. We love how social the building is with events for the community. This is our 3rd building that we’ve lived in the pearl and I would say our best one overall! Amenities are great and so is location!

Lived here for a few years. The location is excellent. Unit is well insulated. I never hear neighbors on either side! Well constructed. The appliances are very nice too. The amenities are amazing. Previous management did not take very good care of amenities. The only reason I did not rate a 5. However, new management that came in about a month or two ago has done a much better job at enforcing things and making the amenities more useful for all!

Absolutely loved living here. Beautiful building and the most friendly and helpful front office I’ve ever met. The wonderful amenities and sound proof walls make for excellent living plus close to great restaurants and bars. Even after I moved out the front office was super helpful in rerouting a package for me.

Having lived at Akoya for over a year now, I can honestly say I do, and have, recommended it to friends and anyone looking for luxury downtown living. The management team is made up of real people that actually care about their tenents. Adam especially has helped me with two lease agreements. When we needed to move out of our first apartment but wanted to stay in the building, he helped us find the right option. I love living in this community, not just because of the location and amenities (which are fantastic), but because we have an attentive management team on site daily, and security for the off hours. Which if you've never ever lived in the down-town area without security you can't begin to appreciate enough. I didn't live at Akoya when it was owned by Modera, but from my perspective, Avenue 5 has done a great job.

My bf and I have lived here for about 3 years now and it’s the longest we we ever liked one place lol. It’s a really cool building with a lot of really amazing amenities, and they really make this building stand out apart from others. The management are constantly attentive and get to know you like friends. I have actually met people I ended up creating awesome relationships! And the pool/hot tub and fire pits on the roof? Top tier! If you’re looking for a place, do yourself a favor and at least schedule a visit with management and take the tour, you can see for yourself!

We toured with Adam and was told there were apartments available for a quick move-in, which is what we requested. After completing all the paperwork, Adam strung us along for over a week before telling us ... there are no apartments available until November. The availability platform on the website tells a different story. I am left to wonder if Adam didn't like that I was in a wheelchair??? There are too many choices for anyone to risk being mislead or, more specifically, lied to.

My husband and I tried to rent an apartment. We were told units were available and we could move in right away. After completing all of the paperwork, Adam strung us along for over a week before telling us there was NO apartment available! I am attaching two screenshots that show otherwise! I'm left to wonder ... was it because I was in a wheelchair or they didn't want a short-term lease? Either way, Adam wasted our time and now we are scrambling! Shame on this place!
