Visited twice, one for sunset. The rocks were quite busy even out of season so I can't even imagine it in main season!
Otherwise fantastic views, totally worth it!
If you drive don't go to the end, there is only space for 4-5 cars and nowhere to turn around you'll need to reverse.

Serene and quite with great views. Nice area to relax and listen to the wind and waves! You cant go into the lighthouse but still nice to visit. Parking is limited if you take a car, you will need to park on the road and walk a little ways or take a scooter and squeeze in!

Beautiful spot with sweeping views of the caldera and the deep blue Aegean Sea. The scenery alone makes the trip worthwhile, especially around sunset
We didn’t venture around the lighthouse itself as the rocky terrain lacked clear signs or paths, but it’s still a peaceful and scenic stop to enjoy the view from above

Didn't see any ticket counter and the main gate was locked. Most people just walked around the hill to see the lighthouse from all sides. And also to get really nice views of the caldera.
A couple cars appeared at the bottom of the stairs to the lighthouse as I was leaving. A bunch of people got out of the cars with luggage and someone opened the gate to the entrance of the lighthouse. Not sure what that was about.

The Akrotiri Lighthouse is beautifully located at the southern tip of Santorini and offers stunning panoramic views, especially at sunset. It’s a wonderful spot to enjoy the island’s natural beauty and take in the dramatic sea views.
It’s a pity that the lighthouse itself is not open to visitors — being able to look inside would make the experience even more special. Nevertheless, it remains one of the most scenic viewpoints on the island and well worth a visit.

Some of the best sunset views with all the boats in the background. Don't think I have been to the Lighthouse, but the views are amazing. Don't stay on the rocks too long as when it gets dark it gets dark.

The actual lighthouse is not open for visitors.
The scenic point is impressive but I think there are better views on many other places on the island. The short hike down to the flat area allows for breathtaking shots if someone can stay higher up and take photos of you. There is an eatery in the parking area for food and drinks (including alcohol). Nice stop away from all the tourists, and if you have extra time and transportation.
