Aktaion Restaurant

Wow wow wow! A must visit if you are in Santorini. We were so impressed when we visited that we came back a second time to try other menu items. The first time we didn't book, so we were sat inside which was a lovely location, very small but very pretty. Staff were friendly, we had the tomato keftedes and mushroom pasta. Very high quality and delicious! The second time we booked, and were given an incredible table with views across the sea at sunset - wow We tried the feta balls, shrimp pasta, lamb shank and the dessert of the day. Absolutely amazing. The staff were even more friendly than the day before. The lamb shank is a must! Although for a lunch time visit, it was not ready. Exceptional!

Fantastic family-owned restaurant. We had the Sea Bass and homemade pasta with mushrooms pictured. We also tried the traditional mackerel with lentils and were very pleasantly surprised! Make sure to reserve outdoor seating. Highly recommend.

Love love love the food here! Chanced upon this family restaurant and the food blown our minds! It was so good we came back a second time again for dinner! I think that this is the best meal we had in Santorini! Denis served us both times and he was extraordinary, always making sure that we are comfortable and everything was in order. Thank you very much Denis for making our dining experience such a great one! Good food, good service! Recommended!!

Had a great dinner here. Octopus and fava bean puree to start, which was delicious. Followed by lamb shank and moussaka, which were both fantastic! Finished with a desert of the day. Highly recommend this for a sunset dinner. A carafe of decent house white wine is only 7.50 euros too! €82 in total for two.

I think it is the first restaurant that made us feel in Greece and we've been to Santorini for 3 days now. Food wise, wine, serving, view and atmosphere, everything is top notch. Totally recommend.

Amazing location with parking space and looks like a typical Greek restaurant. The main portions were massive if ur an eater. We had cod fish and lamb shank mains was superfluous fresh and well made. Octopus appetizer was ok. House wine was great. They gave bread free with a sweet local wine at the end of service 75 Euros.

Best fava dish, lamb shank was AMAZING, and the clay pot cooked moussaka is the best we've had. The pasta with caper leaves is very good.

Excellent service, all of the staff are working well together to make sure you get your meal as soon as possible. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed our experience so much that we returned 2 more times during our stay. We met a personable young waiter, Dennis, who made our experience memorable. We recommend that you make reservations for dinner during the sunset as it is very busy at that time.
