Akureyri HI Hostel

Easy check in. Kristen was very helpful and reset the code since the original code to the door was not functioning. Clean hostel, comfortable beds, clean showers and toilets. Room size was just adequate for our needs. Kitchen well stocked, close to Bonus grocery store. Coffee was great and we had no issues. 10-15 min walk to town center.

Nice and clean rooms, many amenities and very good location. We came as a group of 18 travellers and we were all pleased by the hostel and the amenities it provided. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment to prepare your breakfast or meal and the beds are very comfortable

What a great price for the hostel! The decoration is so cosy and homey. You get free coffee and thee. The kitchen is great with everything you would need to cook. the bathrooms are pretty and great size. The matress is a bit soft but we slept great! Would really recommend!!

This place is worth every penny. The host was super accommodating and allowed us to check in early because of snow storms at our previous location. The hostel itself is super clean, modern and beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked as well, like a home away from home. Amazing place.

I really enjoyed staying here, my room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The kitchen and dining area is spacious and also really clean, and the tea and coffee is a nice touch. There were plenty of showers/toilets, all really modern and clean and I never had to wait for them. Easy 10 minutes walk to town along a straight main road, close to everything. Communication from the hostel was great, messaged me the door code and information the day before I arrived, I didn't need to contact any staff because I had no issues at all during my stay. Would definitely recommend this hostel, great value for money!

Oh my goodness, this place is really a little gem that we are so lucky to stumbled upon during our last minute decision to stay in the town. It has so much spaces for our campervan, and the location is fantastic as it is within walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets. Most impressive of all is how clean and charming this place is. Highly recommend.

This hostel really delivers. Clean and cosy and really well thought out. Never a queue for any of the facilities and they were always spotless (and easy to leave the same way). Complimentary hot drinks and even some communal snacks. Northern lights visible from our room. Comfortable sleep. Easy walk to bars and restaurants and all things. Powerful showers. Hygge design and easy to access and great comms. Honestly amazing. Loved it.

Very nice place, clean, with a large kitchen and dining areas, close to attractions, about 15 minutes walk to the harbor and downtown. Also all the bathrooms were new and nice!
