Akyaka camp is or was one of our favourite spots. But now...no comment. Last year they supposedly improved the facility but I saw only 'improvements' for the worse. The price sky-rocketed for a state-run camp, toilets have not been improved or the number of them hasn't increased (the territory is huge, by the way!!). And toilets are something that people do really need. The cafe, which used to work and where you could get a humble humburger, hasn't been open. What we have is a pathetic small shop.
The only positive thing is the sea....beautiful coast, perfect jumping places, refreshing water.
But, you guys, need to spend allocated money to improve the facility, not to make an expensive circus out of it.
2 weeks ago we went to a private camp with well-looked facilities (toilets, sun beds etc) and paid much less.
