Akyaka camp is or was one of our favourite spots. But now...no comment. Last year they supposedly improved the facility but I saw only 'improvements' for the worse. The price sky-rocketed for a state-run camp, toilets have not been improved or the number of them hasn't increased (the territory is huge, by the way!!). And toilets are something that people do really need. The cafe, which used to work and where you could get a humble humburger, hasn't been open. What we have is a pathetic small shop. The only positive thing is the sea....beautiful coast, perfect jumping places, refreshing water. But, you guys, need to spend allocated money to improve the facility, not to make an expensive circus out of it. 2 weeks ago we went to a private camp with well-looked facilities (toilets, sun beds etc) and paid much less.

A very large site that has some good points, but many bad points Pitches are numbered, however no map of the site to say where you are supposed to go. Toilets not regularly cleaned and were disgusting. Good electric connections on the pitches . 100TL a night is on the high side for a pitch for a small caravan. Lots of day visitors walking through the area and using the camping facilities Once the day visitors leave it is nice and quiet. Too many stray dogs wandering around and it is not pleasant to find that they have fouled your tent and equipment. The village is only a 5 minutes walk away. Other sites are cheaper and better maintained.

A great place for any type of camping from tents to large campers, with all good quality facilities and a clean and beautiful swimming area.

The worst place to stay, people wake us up at night at 00:00 and said that we can’t sleep in the tent and we need to go away, this is awful attitude to the customers, don’t go to this place, they don’t give good toilets, electricity and shower, just take money for nothing

We camped here for two nights and found the setting really pretty. The campsite wasn't busy so we had plenty of space. When we were there they were busy installing electrical connections for the sites so we obviously did not have electricity but that didn't bother us. The ablutions were rather run down and not great and didn't appear to be regularly cleaned. There is a short walk down to a truly beautiful coast where there are lovely timber decks to sit out on. What really saddened us was the amount of rubbish that people had left at these facilities and in the campsite. We cannot understand why people cannot take their garbage with them when they leave. It's a very sad state of affairs. As for the staff, they were very friendly and helpful. I really hope that the management do something to correct the negatives that I write about.
