Six Best Day Trips from Abu Dhabi | Condé Nast Traveler
"The Al Ain Oasis is another of the city’s gems. Named a Unesco heritage site in 2011, the 32,000-acre oasis features an educational Eco-Centre and a number of shaded walkways through its 147,000 odd date palms—the ideal spot for a picnic or leisurely wander."
We got our 10th anniversary pictures taken here and we are so happy with every single one of the photos!!!!
Definitely a worth visit 🫶🏻

Best place to hang out in Al Ain City. Vast area for walking . Nice view of plam trees and others. Accessible through bus and car. Enough parking available. Can roam by using electric buggy. The site comes under the World Heritage site under UNESCO . It is better to visit in winter.

Nice place for one time visit. If you like walking then definitely you will like it. Bicycle are available but all are overpriced as for half an hour it will cost 20 to 30 Aed…

In a word, the place is great. I have never seen such a big Date palm garden before. In Addition, it is a major tourist attraction place in Al Ain, where the cool shade of trees and fresh air is available. We spent a lot of time there. We had lunch sitting under the shade of a tree.

Beautiful and peaceful place in a middle of a calm and sleepy town. Very nice to walk around and absorb the nature and the history of the place. You can even pick the low hanging dates. Definitely do not recommend doing it during high noon, though because despite all the palms, shade is not as common as it may initially seem. Thumbs up!

Great to visit once a while, esp if you're getting sick and tired of the city.
Would suggest that you visit during winter, on summer all the restaurants and shops inside the oasis are closed.

If you want to see lots of tree you can go there, apart from that you won’t find anything there. Keep some water with you if you are going in hot weather as you have to either walk or else book a bicycle which cost 80 AED for 2 or else you can go in a mini bus tour which cost you 30 AED per person. I didn’t find anything apart from trees.
