I had a wonderful experience visiting Al Ain Zoo! The place is well-maintained, clean, and beautifully designed for both animals and visitors. This is a beautiful zoo with many animals unfortunately there's lack of directions (I've uploaded a picture which shows the map is covered). We were lost all the time and had to ask for directions. I suspect they're renovating or something. Lot's of gardens for kids to play and the zoo is huge so make sure you book shuttle service if you don't like walking. They sell snacks and there's a prayer room and free water dispensers within. The highlight for me were the gorillas. PS: please go early so that you can enjoy giraffe feeding

Overall, the experience was good; mostly, the desert learning center was amazing. It gave many valuable lessons with plenty of examples, so it was easy to understand. Kids and adults definitely enjoy this center; the ticket price is 31 AED, and it needs almost 3 hours to cover all the areas.there is not crowded on weekends also. This time some renovation works are running.

Largest zoo in Middle East, but we were a little disappointed on our visit as alot of the exhibits are closed for maintainence. However we visited in the summer, which is probably the best time for them to do any works before the peak seasons when the weather is better. It's an outdoor zoo so the weather can be overwhelming in summer. However they do have really great enclosure's and seeing those rhinos is awesome. The pricing is really fair and best to buy the tickets from their own website as it seems like they do not honour tickets sold on some sites.

We were so disappointed about this place, most of the animals, as on previous reviews, were not available. Birds park, penguin park, hippo and crocodile things were closed. On April 3 were so hot and most of the animals were sleeping somewhere inside, u can’t even see them. Gift shop also closed I think this place making money now only on the entrance fees and inside bus pick up and drop (entrance adults 31, and bus 41 per person) Museum though were good to hide from the hot weather outside. It’s better if the zoo would be open till 9pm, at least after 5 not so hot and maybe animals will come outside to see them Big place for nothing Just ride a bus inside.
