Playground Alert for Parents We came here looking for the zipline (as suggested), but there wasn’t any. The zipline area seems to have been removed and replaced with a small slide. Overall, there’s not much risky play here. The playground itself is medium-sized, a bit outdated, and more suitable for younger kids. We ended up heading to the Chocolate Festival on the other side, and that part was fun. The walk across the overhead bridge was nice — it’s a huge open walking space with scattered plastic-type playgrounds here and there, but nothing very exciting for bigger kids. I really wish they would add more wooden structures and more challenging, risky-play elements. They also have bike rentals, but the riding area is very restricted, probably to make returns easier. Still, it was a good walk, especially at night. We enjoyed the outing overall, and ended the day with some affordable tea-time food (much cheaper than the festival). Lovely experience, just not the playground we expected.

Al Bidda Park in Qatar is one of the most beautiful and well-maintained parks in the country. The entire area is incredibly clean, spacious, and perfect for families and friends to gather. Whether you're planning a casual outing, a fun picnic, or a large get-together, there’s plenty of open space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The park also offers designated BBQ areas that can be booked in advance making it a great spot for outdoor cooking and unforgettable moments. Winter is truly the best time to visit, with the cool weather adding to the enjoyment of walking, playing, or simply sitting and taking in the calm surroundings. Al Bidda Park is a must visit place for nature lovers, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone looking to spend quality time outdoors. A perfect blend of greenery, peaceful vibes, and great facilities!

This is the best green space in Doha. There are two main parts. The North part is larger, but less used. The South part is smaller but has more visitors because it’s more accessible. The Metro Station is right in the park. In the evening of the weekend, many rollerblading classes for kids are conducted. Jogging tracks are well-lighted and well-maintained. No need to bring water as there are water fountains at all the restrooms. Restrooms are cleaned well-maintained. There are many benches to sit and enjoy the park. The best spot is on the northwest side where there is a hill. From there, one can get the best view of Doha skyline at night, including the helium balloon.

Al Bidda Park Lantern Festival beautiful visuals and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s more than just an event it celebrates light, hope, togetherness, and cultural artistry. The lantern displays are visually stunning and make for lovely photos, especially in the evening. 𝘏𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳, 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦’𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵: If you’re planning to visit, come prepared. During our visit, there were no food stalls available, despite what’s usually expected from festivals. Because of this, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗮 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁 🧺 If you’re only planning to stroll around and take a few photos, the entrance fee may feel a bit pricey for what’s currently offered. Beautiful park with a lot of greenery that is very clean and enjoyable to walk through. It’s pretty calm and you can enjoy walking on this long road.

A very extensive city park. Beautifully maintained greenery, which, in this climate, certainly costs a lot of effort and a lot of water. There are fountains, but of not very attractive appearance. The only shade can be found under the trees. Some sort of canopy would be useful here. There are no people in the park during the day - it is known to be so hot here. The only place to park is in a large underground car park, for 1 QAR per hour.

The park is not only big and huge, but also clean. Nice place for doing sport, family gahering or just playing with kids. Some times we can find the outing activities which held there, such as coffee and chocolate exhibition. The park is also safe for ladies who are doing sport at evening alone.

Best park in Doha, perfect for anybody regardless of whether they're families or just friends hanging out. The greenery here really gives a touch of nature that more often than not is missing in every big city in the world. Recommended.
