The hotel was of great former style with breath taking view. It is an alternative to the hotels in Beirut bcs of much better relaxing quality. However, its infrastructure is quite outdated and needs renovation. Service is good, very kind and helpful people. The owners should invest to bring it to the 21st century.

Wonderful luxurious hotel offering a classical vibe. The rooms are renovated, spacious and offer a spectacular panoramic view over Beirut. The internal hydro pool is a must try and very relaxing. To have a massage in their spa , its recommended to book in advance since it could be full during the stay.

It’s hard to describe what makes Al Bustan special. It’s the kind of place where the past lingers in the walls and the present feels unhurried. Whether you’re enjoying the art, chatting with the old-school waiters, or just watching the sunset with a glass of wine — you feel something real. Highly recommend, especially in spring during the festival season.

We had lunch at il giardino
Tables were arranged beautifuly
All sharing plates ( pizza, goat cheese salad, shrimp and avocado salad, bresaola and parmesan salad and the bruschetta ) were delicious
It's just that table service was slow and not very efficient

We travelled from London to attend the Al Bustan Festival at the hotel. It is such an amazing property with the most beautiful view overlooking Beirut! The spa facilities are impeccable and pristine. Another highlight is the Scottish bar, where residents and locals mingle during the Festival. Also loved the Italian food at Il Giardino - such a fabulous and delicious post-concert treat!

I didn’t expect a historic hotel in Lebanon to deliver the best Carpaccio I’ve had in years. But it did. Also, can we talk about the soaps? Luxurious. Shout-out to Christian at the spa for the top-notch service, and to Joseph at the Scottish Bar - a legend. Can’t wait to return.

We spent a night away from Beirut at Al Bustan and it was the perfect getaway. It's only 20 minutes from the city but feels like a peaceful retreat. The view of the city and Mediterranean is breathtaking, and the room was immaculate. I highly recommend a morning swim followed by the breakfast buffet under the pine trees.

Visited the Scottish Bar, what a vibe! Warm wood paneling, plush couches, and a view that stretches from Beirut all the way to Jounieh. Cozy yet sophisticated, with an excellent cocktail list. A must-stop even if you’re not staying at the hotel.
