This hotel is beautifully located next to the main canal, and only 750 metres from the train station. And you would be hard pressed to find a nicer room in the budget range. Only complaint would be breakfast. Don't get me wrong, I strongly recommend staying here, however just eat breakfast elsewhere

Lovely hotel that is in a quieter area but still walking distance to landmarks. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and included in our price.||Room was spacious nicely appointed. It was a family suite with two rooms. ||I recommend

Fantastic Family Holiday & Value for money Our family had a wonderful stay.The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the area, with plenty of attractions within walking distance. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Our room was clean and well-appointed with excellent amenities. The breakfast buffet offered a delicious variety of options to start our days off right. We highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a memorable vacation.

We selected this hotel for a 2 night stay prior to a Mediterranean cruise departing from Trieste. Loved the location which was not a bad walk from the alilaguna stop from the airport and a short walk to the Santa Lucia Train station (two small and one really big bridge away). It is in a quieter area with a lot of locals which was so nice as a respite from the crowds in the most popular tourist areas. We were offered a choice of two rooms and selected one on the first floor. Very convenient and comfortable. Hotel lobby is lovely with beautiful glass fixtures. They offer a small bar service if you care for a cocktail at the hotel. Breakfast was included featuring a good array of continental options like pastries, bread, hard boiled eggs etc and as lovely woman works the breakfast and provides freshly made coffee, cappuccino, etc. we were very close to some good local bars and restaurants which offered good food and drinks at reasonable prices. It was also very easy to walk to main features like Rialto bridge. We did a foodie walking tour and it was very easy to reach our starting point. Price was very reasonable as well. We were very happy with this hotel.

We had a nice stay at Hotel Al Duca di Venezia. I booked a Master Suite for a family of four and we had lots of room, with two bedrooms, a living room with a pull our couch and two bathrooms. Very comfortable for a family. ACs worked well as well, which was welcome as it was hot and humid. Location is so-so, pretty far from everything. Breakfast at the hotel is terrible, with very few choices and you have to reserve your time in advance. Service at the hotel is generally OK, but 80% of the things we asked were responded to with "We are a very small hotel, ...", which got old after a few such responses.

I had experienced the worst welcoming at the reception by the manager Katerina. I have tried 20+ countries with hotels, BnB, Air bnb, but never had been treated like this. I chose this hotel because of the good reviews. When I was getting our room card and tried to get an extra one for my parents, she said later because she needs to talk to her staff. Later on, I went out again so that we can get it sort out before going out for sight seeing. She said not right now and send me away again. This is ridiculous when this is your job to serve your guests and answer customers questions. I talked to her politely the whole time even asked if she's okay and how was she doing. I did not come all the way from Canada for this attitude and rude welcoming need not to mention my parents came all the way from Hong Kong. I do not need any compensation but request an apology from the manger Katerina in person.

A very nice hotel for the price point. It is tucked away in a quiet area with no footfall outside. Yet a hundred yards away through an alley there are restaurants, bars and the main route to Rialto. The room was clean and beautiful. Free breakfast was very nice (beautiful coffee). They also have apartments and on a subsequent visit with more family I tried to get but sadly it was already booked up. Would definitely return.

Glad we found this hotel. Few minutes walk from the train station and in a quiet location. Limited rooms and well maintained. Delicious breakfast with freshly made cappuccino. Will definitely stay again!
