Al Ghaleb - GDC

This hotel was in the perfect location for my needs. My room was clean and comfortable and the owners were very friendly. They even invited me into their home to drink tea with them. 😊 There is a lovely Terrace at the top for relaxing, drinking coffee and eating breakfast. I recommend you stay here while you are in Madaba.

Really nice owner! Very attentive and helpful. The facilities were clean, the room was good, with AC and hot water. It has a rooftop where you can have drinks or simply chill. Very good quality-price relation, would stay here again surely.

You should be a very good hotel to stay in now. It's run down even an eyesore to look at. I can't believe this is the same place we used to stay every time we come to madava very disappointed but has a great location because you. Are in the center of town where everything is around you other than that very poor service? Places very filthy and not recommended to stay in anymore.

Staff is very kind and friendly. Room could be cleaner, however when we asked for new bedding it was replaced with no questions. Breakfast included, rather simple but in family atmosphere (one big table)

Okay it’s not soo bad. The owner is really nice and thoughtful. You have the option of shared bathroom or take private bathroom. Yes the shower isn’t the warmest water. And the rooms are kind of cold. But if you need something just ask and he will help. Also great breakfast and common space. It’s budget accommodation ya know!

We stayed there during our trip around Jordan. We paid around 41 euros for a double room. The room itself was OK, but the shower had a door missing, which meant all the water just got on the floor. The shower was also very cold, the hot water only lasted for a couple of minutes. We hoped that the breakfast would make up for it, as we've had good experiences in other places in Jordan, but it was very small and disappointing (one boiled egg, a bit of bread and jam, a few tomatoes..). We wouldn't mind if it was a 20-ish euros night, but for 40 we expected a bit more. On the plus side, smiley staff and great location.

Comfortable and a great value. The room was spacious, clean, and the shower had warm water. Dinner was excellent and the family that runs the place is very welcoming and pleasant.

Hotel was ok, tidy and staff was kind. Our AC didn't work really well as a heater so it wasn't that warm in the room (December). It's a cheaper place so don't expect a Hilton or NH hotel.
