Al Giardino Degli Indoratori

Lovely little spot for a plate of genovese pesto. It's hidden away in a small alley in a very good location. We went for lunch and it was fairly empty but slowly it started getting busier. Half of the customers were Italian, even if not from Genoa, which I take as a good sign. A plate is about €10-12 euros for pasta and €12-15 for a fish/meat based main. Reasonable and was enough food with one main. They also serve bread, although not sure if they charged us. You have to get up to the till and pay but it seems it's quite normal in all places we went to in Italy. Definitely worth it.

I randomly went there as almost all places near our hotel were closed at 21:00. The food was fantastic, service was fast. It was sooooo good!

Had a really nice meal with the family here. Food was very good especially the pasta and pesto starter. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious we ordered fried squid and french fries with cola and had a tiramisu for desert. The tiramisu was not bad. The service was a bit slow because it was crowded The staff are friendly and helpful It is a muslim friendly restaurant if you are going to eat seafood

Lovely little restaurant with alley terraced seating. Moderately priced compared to the value. Excellent with children! Nice wine menu with a blend of local options and pan Italian. The pasta vongole is excellent as is the linguine ragu - genovese style. Coperto is also modest compared with other tourist options.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. He helped us pick the right wine to match the food. The food itself was delicious and well prepared. The wine was great as well and the prices were amazing for the quality they served. After visiting, we were so satisfied that we had to come back the day after.

We have been randomly visiting this place and be very impressed by the quality of the food and the excellent service. I had capponi magro for starter, a traditional genuese recipe and fish ravioli, both excellent. I'll be back.

There were empty tables outside but we were seated inside, no phone signal, cannot make calls and the internet does not work I had the same pasta at a different restaurant and it was way better. Here there is only veal in the ravioli, at the other place there was veal in the sauce too and the taste cannot be compared My friend asked for some fries with the mixed grill (which was mostly fish - not mixed seafood - also not grilled). The fries were previously frozen. The sauce packets were very bad. Long waiting time for food to come, they didn't even brind all of it at once, we had to eat at separate times. Pretty expensive for what it has to offer 💰 Also, they served wine you can find at your nearby local shop

Loved this place, food is great, price is fair, they have a wonderful kids menu with fun names and they were absolutely amazing with our kids. Lovely location in a hallway so you sit outside and it's fun and cozy. I would go back in a heartbeat.
