Al Grill - San Marco

Hands down the best meal we had in Venice. The queue was justified. Servers were very friendly and attentive to us even while the restaurant was full. We ordered the Florentine with three sides. Server recommended us a bottle of wine that went perfect with our orders. We are contemplating coming again before we leave!

Words cannot describe how amazing this meal was. We’d been all over Italy and this was by far our favorite dinner! We had the Caesar salad (so good!), fries, and steak with truffle sauce (definitely try the truffle sauce!). The steak was outstanding. The staff was friendly and attentive and we loved the atmosphere. I had a limon martini which tasted equally as delicious as it looks! Oh, and the dessert! Tiramisu and cheesecake were to die for.

Everyone in the comments are right, after being in Italy for about a week and a half, this place is a brilliant break away from ‘pizza and pasta’. Great service and food and wine were perfect. Interior is lovely and clean and so are the bathrooms (unlike a lot of toilets I’ve seen on my travels). Would recommend to anybody visiting Venice!

My family had an absolutely amazing dinner! The food was perfectly cooked and well served. The service was amazing and we enjoyed ourselves very much. The desserts were great too and it wasn’t really expensive. I would recommend coming!

Best meal in Italy for our family! We had a lot of incredible meals over our 16 days in Rome, Venice and Florence...Al Grill was everyones favorite. We actually went 2 nights while in Venice. Shared a big DELICIOUS Tomahawk, fries, salad with chicken, wine and DESSERT!! Second night we did the T-bone and same other goodies!! Both nights FANTASTIC!! The staff are all super nice, fun and professional! Wish I could give this place 10 stars. Definitely get the cheesecake with strawberries for dessert...I will never be the same after that cheesecake, lol. Thank you to everyone at Al Grill.

Our waiter Ray was a really lovely guy who made our experience more special. We enjoyed talking to him! Great steak, particularly the rib eye, and great wine! Beautiful interior decor.

Came on our honeymoon. Best meal we’ve had in Italy! The steak was incredible - my husband is from Texas, USA so good quality beef is a priority for us. The server was kind and assisted when I confessed we had just arrived in Italy and that we were not familiar with the local wines. Everything was delicious down to the desserts. When in Venice we will definitely be returning.

I was there in the restaurant quite late and had ordered a rib eye steak for 26 euro, it wasn't expensive but the steak is just OK. It was cooked and all but without any specific seasonings and quite just literally it. There are better options. The side dish and bread was served with olive oil but without any side plate.
